Work, surf and enjoy the laid back lifestyle in the Encinitas coastal neighborhood of Leucadia with Grandview Beach a 4 minute walk from the house, and plenty of excellent restaurants and bars in the neighborhood.
The house is filled with light with the Main Room having 20' vaulted ceiling with a lounge area with Samung TV, Cable and Apple TV, and a dining area.
Connected to the Main Room by a cedar bar top, the Kitchen is fully loaded including a Keurig Coffee Maker, Drip Coffee Maker, juicer, Ninja blender/smoothing maker, toaster and a washer/drier closet.
The two upstairs bedrooms have ductless mini splits for perfect temperature control and the downstairs bedroom/office has desk and Queen Murphy Bed.
Indoor / Outdoor living with the two French doors opening up from the Main Room to a ground level patio with an outdoor gas fireplace and upper deck with lounge chairs, sun umbrella and outdoor dining table and chairs. Around the corner is an outdoor shower to rinse off from the beach, and a shed with beach chairs, beach games and a surfboard rack on the side of the house.
As is a way of life in coastal N County San Diego from the Del Mar bluffs to Oceanside, the train runs through the neighborhood. My experience and from other guests is that it hasn't been an issue, after a night or two you don't notice it. In addition, the upstairs bedrooms have brand new Pella double paned windows with individual AC units that greatly reduce the noise.
