Cute Cottage Lake Michigan Beach Pentwater Silver Lake Sand Dunes

This vacation home offers one bedroom with a queen bed, a queen sofa bed in the living room, one full bath and a fully equipped large kitchen. Areas of enjoyment outdoors include a nice deck off of the bedroom, a covered porch with grill off the kitchen area. Fire pit with seating.
The home is located near the edge of the Pier Marquette Forest and includes access to a private, shared neighborhood beach which is only a 5-7 minute walk (or 1-2 minute drive) away.

There's so much to do in this area of Michigan with sand dune activities, beaches, wineries, shopping, hiking, water sports, Michigan Adventure Amusement Park and more. Or just unplug, hang out, and relax! 

Pets with prior approval. Preferably 1 pet 20lbs or less but would consider others. $100 pet fee. Minimum. Disclose pet info when booking.

There are lots of good restaurants nearby to enjoy. Bortels Fishery (which has been a family business since the 1800s), Golden Sands with their tasty pizzas and often entertainment, Hart Brewery, The Antler and so many more.

Note: The lower level, the storage loft, the shed and one closet are not included in the rental. You will not be sharing this home with anyone. We travel alot but it is possible at times we may be there in a RV on the corner of the property facing away from the home that is not included. You will still have total privacy. It really is a lovely place to vacation. If you're looking for a lovely place with plenty to do or not and 1 bedroom with sofa bed, bathroom, large kitchen with a porch and deck, lots of seating and nice yard with plenty of parking, you may not want to let this slip by.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house was clean and welcoming. I appreciated it having everything we needed to have lunch at the house. We just brought our groceries and were good to go. The beach is about a 5-6 minute drive with stairs so we left the wagon back. Clean beaches, clean home, easy to communicate with the owners. We had a blast and would definitely come back! The owners stay in a RV at the end of the property but it didn’t bother us one bit. Loved this space! Thanks again for having us!

Nice Home

Nice home and wooded neighborhood with all the extras. Sunny or rainy, you have plenty of options to explore in the area. We went to Pentwater, Hart, Ludington, and Silver Lake. Multiple beaches that allow pets. The stairs down to Lake Michigan at Cedar Point County Park are in good condition.

The location wasjust right. We had easy access to a private beach on Lake Michigan and surrounding towns. The kitchen was well furnished with appliances and whatever you needed to create a great meal. The house was very clean and pretty. A lovely covered porch and nice landscaping really made our stay very enjoyable.

A Gem in Mears

This is our second time to stay here because it does not disappoint! The host and hostess are so thoughtful and the rental is spotless. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the beach was just a short walk away. We will definitely return!

It was a very relaxing stay. The quiet quant neighborhood made for great walks in the woods and lead to a private beach. We enjoyed the beautiful house that had everything we needed. We would most definitely stay again!

Short getaway

Location and accommodations are just as advertised. Very quiet neighborhood with about a 10 minute walk to the beach. The house is very well equipped, clean, and nicely decorated.

Nice and quiet

This 1 bedroom cottage was roomy and updated. Beautiful wood flooring throughout and very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with any tools you would need to make a nice meal. Check-in was easy. The neighborhood was very quiet. Would definitely recommend staying.

Relaxing getaway

If you're looking for a cozy place to get away from it all this is just the spot. The house is cute and comfortable with everything you would need to relax and have a good time. Loved the proximity to the neighborhood beach with just a short walk. Robin and Bob were also very kind to give us a bottle of wine for our stay and a nice card since we were there on our honeymoon. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Stay

This is a beautiful property that has all of the modern conveniences as well as lovely personalized touches that helped make our stay even more comfortable. The private beach is such an asset and the rental location is close to multiple great cities and attractions. The owners were incredibly responsive to our questions. Highly recommend!

Peaceful paradise best VRBO EVER

The owners were fantastic! Responsive and made sure the kitchen had the items I requested for my extended stay. The house is beautifully appointed and the kitchen is very well equipped! I walked to the private beach every day and experienced fireflies every night! I will definitely come back to this piece of paradise in Mears!

Excellent Cabin in North MI

My wife and I stayed for the 4th of July weekend and had a BLAST. Gret location between Sliver Lake and Penterwater, and the Private beach that comes with the property. Would Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a get away in MI.

Outstanding experience

Our stay at Robin and Bob's home was outstanding. It is a darling house - very well appointed and cutely decorated. The owners are so kind and helpful. Great proximity to the private beach and to the cute town of Silver Lake. This is a great choice for a Michigan vacation.

Woodland Wonder

This was our first VRBO experience. “Our” cottage did not disappoint! The home is first class. The owners have impeccable taste who no doubt strive to provide a home away from home. I won’t spoil others stay, but the owners made coming through the front door very welcoming! Privacy abounds in the serene setting all the way to “your” nearby private beach. Fun times!!

Perfect Family Getaway

My three sons and I spent four nights at this wonderful property, and had a wonderful time. Extremely clean, great kitchen, plenty of room for air mattresses on the floor. We arrived to some welcome gifts and every "extra" was available from a hose to rinse off our sandy feet to a nightlight in the kitchen. We spent quality time on the beach and in the Lake. Bob and Robin are wonderful hosts!

Adorable Cottage, Loved it!

This cottage was super cute and fit our family’s needs perfectly. It was close to Hart, and Mear’s / Pentwater State park which is an amazing little town. We used the Cedar Point Park each day which was beautiful!! The owner’s did stay in the camper on the back of the property but we had no issues and hardly seen them. I have recommended this to friends for a future rental.

Gorgeous cottage, serene location

I cannot express how happy we were with our stay. The cottage, while only one bedroom, was spacious and fit our family of four well. The kitchen is perfect for anyone who loves to cook and has everything you need. The home was very clean and beautifully decorated. We walked in and were overwhelmed with how gorgeous it was. Robin was great, even bringing by extra chairs and stuff for s’mores. The area is so serene and quiet, and is within walking distance to the beach. We made many good memories here and cannot wait to come back!!!
