Everything was great except the rain and the flooding this year. This is the first year we had experience really bad weather. We left a day early because we didn’t want to get stuck in the flood. But house and pool are excellent! Really recommend!!

Family Vacation @ Frio River 2023

We had a great experience for our family vacation. The house was very clean no issues at all. Our kids really enjoyed the pool. The river was close which made it convenient. We will definitely stay there again.

River fun 2024

My guess and i all had a great time. Heaven's Canyon is a great place to stay, it was a perfect size very cozy and clean. We enjoyed the pool, the layout of the home excellent. Great choice!

Perfect Home for our annual river trip!

Heavens canyon is a beautiful house.

Stay at Heavens Canyon

Check-in could've been better. We get there 30 minutes after check-in time only to find out they had made new keys for our cabin but they were left in a truck somewhere. We were told to head to the cabin and they would meet us there with the keys. 3 no answer phone calls and 30 minutes later we get the cleaning service key. We never got our keys. The bunk beds are very difficult to make and the mattresses are horrible.

Exactly what we needed.

Location was great and distance from the neighbors was perfect. We couldn’t hear their music and they couldn’t hear ours. The TV in our master bedroom wouldn’t connect but it didn’t bother us as all. Might have been an easy fix if we tried but we didn’t. We had a blast, only way we don’t rebook this location would be if we have more family members join us next year.

The kitchen was stocked with all necessary cooking supplies but the oven did not work. The home met our needs for the weekend.

We were not notified about the issue with the oven until your checked out. It was immediately repaired and is working perfectly. This is a lovely little home with privacy and a private pool. Sorry it didn't meet your expectations.

Our family loved the location, the feel of the home and of course the pool. We would like more lighting in the back area. I think some of the back porch lights may have been out. Other than that, I think a new family tradition has been started. We are already planning our trip for next year with more family and friends!

It would have been nice to have the pool clean. If you walked barefoot in the house you had walmart feet :/ master bathroom toilet was broke, lights over the bar didn't work, one couch and beds were uncomfortable.

Disappointing

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a disappointment staying here. The beds are absolutely horrible. The mattress springs pop you in the back when you move, the bed frames need to be reassembled and tightened up or completely replaced. They moved and swayed. The stove needs to be cleaned or replaced. The burners are electric, but literally caught fire twice from underneath the top panel of the stove. HOW? The front left burner never got hot enough to boil water, yet caught on fire. The cleaning team needs to do so much better. Rice grains all over the pantry shelves and the floor, we didn't have rice. Strangers stray hairs all over the shower walls, and mud on the floors. No WiFi for guest really? The pool was nice. I'd never stay here again.

Great location. Nice pool. Great communication with host. The hot water didn’t work in the master bath, but we were able to use the other bathroom’s shower to bathe so it was a minor inconvenience. Overall, this property met our family’s needs for the weekend.
