The Forge at Blacksmith Point! Newly Constructed!

This new construction home was just completed in 2021 and offers 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms with amazing amenities and views! Amenities include a sand beach, dock, multiple stairs into the lake, kayaks, paddle boards, a gas grill, lakeside firepit, awesome furnishings, a fully stocked kitchen and ample parking just to name a few. The property is conveniently located on the water and by land with easy access to Chucks Marina, Chimeny Rock & Goat Island to name a few. The house offers amazing views and gorgeous sunsets! Downstairs you will find 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, living room, kitchen, dining, & laundry. Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a bonus/media room.

We are located approximately 30 minutes from Auburn University which make us a great spot to stay for Auburn home games!

We have an affiliation with a boat and jet ski rental company as well if you are interested. Supply is limted so please inquire early as dates tend to book well in advance.

We disclose that we've added a video monitoring system to the exterior of the house only! It does not display any areas where your family may gather.

Relax and unwind

Great location to enjoy lake access. House was spacious and well appointed. Unwind after a day on the lake in the peaceful backyard with a beautiful sunset. Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Lake Martin.

Great house… Great location!

The property is as nice as it appears in the pictures! It facilitated special family time and water sports. Also, appreciated the multiple dining options nearby (by boat and car). The property manager was communicative and easy to work with.

Lake Martin Family Vacation

We definitely enjoyed our stay at Lake Martin and the house was beautiful! We liked having the boat slip as we rented a pontoon boat to go out on the lake during our stay. The house was very nice and clean, and had plenty of toilet paper and trash bags which we appreciated! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and we were able to cook all our meals which was so nice! We also enjoyed the fire pit outside! The only things we didn’t love was that there were cameras on every corner of the house and the fireplace inside didn’t work. It was a little chilly so we were looking forward to enjoying that. The owner did answer and respond about setting up the tv for us to watch football so we were grateful for that! We loved Lake Martin and enjoyed our relaxing quiet and peaceful stay!

Auburn Family Weekend

Beautiful home and property! Had a wonderful time. I do believe they need to hire a pest service as the spider webs were a bit excessive on the deck and house. Noticeable only because the property was in such amazing condition!

Great House on Lake Martin

The house was perfect! Nice kitchen, fully stocked, awesome dock with room for 2 boats. Large bedrooms with 3 king size beds. The only downside to this house was the sprinklers. They came on at 5:30-6 am every day and stayed on for hours. (Until 10:30-11:00 am) EVERYTHING was wet. Not just wet, flooded. Other than that a picture perfect house.

Great location, beautiful views, nice dock and firepit

Stayed for 5 nights with our family. Great dock and home. Furnished nicely and comfortably for a large group. Manager came and repaired the grill lid that was hanging on by one screw almost immediately. Also let the manager, Nick know about the broken paddle for one of the kayaks upon arrival and that the ceiling fan above the porch patio table did not work. Loved that they had one paddle board, 2 single kayaks and one double kayak. Did have problems with sweet ants on kitchen counter, so kept everything in Tupperware or Ziploc bags. Two refrigerators/freezers were nice. Could of used a couple more pitchers for mixing drinks. Loved the firepit. Make sure you allow time to clean the grill and firepit when you leave, otherwise you will be charged $50.00. It rained our last night unexpectedly and we had to leave early the next day, so we were out early in the morning of check out sweeping out wet wood and ashes. Some VRBOs have a few spices and condiments. FYI - This one will have just salt and pepper. Check-in was a breeze. If you need to rent a boat, Harbor Pointe Marina is nearby. We rented a Tritoon with a 200hp from The Ridge Marina which is about a 45 minute drive one way and a 20 minute boat trip. A few restaurants nearby via car, but have varying hours of operation. Check out Lake Martin Pizza Co. about 15 minutes by car. Really good! Went by boat to a few restaurants, but they are about 45 minutes or more away. Great rental overall!

Better than expected!

We had the absolute best time at this house! It had everything you could want and more. The property manager was very attentive and answered all of our questions promptly. This house is new and beautiful. It was clean and spacious. More than enough room for our 5 adults and 2 kids. The kayaks and paddle board were a favorite with our kids. We rented a boat one day and had fun exploring all around the lake. We have visited Lake Martin before and this house was by far the best rental thus far.

Great property with all the essentials

This was our first stay at this property. The house had all of the essentials - from bathroom and kitchen necessities to water toys. With our young children, we especially appreciated the multiple ways in/out of the water. The older folks in our group thoroughly enjoyed the small number of stairs from the porch to the water's edge - not something commonly found on this lake. My one suggestion for improvement is to add trash pick-up days to the house info book. We didn't know there was a second pick-up.

Great place!

We loved Nick’s house! It was the perfect size for our group of 6 adults. Plenty of room, clean, and beautifully decorated with wonderful water views. We are planning to book again for next summer! Highly recommend!

Great Rental

Great rental on Lake Martin. Spent 3 nights at this property and loved it. Location, water views, dock, beach. Exactly what we needed. They have a pontoon available to rent as well. The house was clean and neat. No issues.
