Enjoy beautiful Lake Conroe in this newly renovated 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo in the gated community of April Sound. It is centrally located off Hwy 105 with easy access to restaurants and shopping. You can enjoy the breath-taking view of the water from the balcony while drinking your coffee or enjoying your favorite beverage. Stairs off the balcony take you right down to the water where you can tie off your boat or jet skis, or just play in the large green space below. Note: The entrance to Condo is is the 2nd floor of the building. You must climb stairs to enter the condo. Long term stays available. Please inquire for price.

It was cozy and clean. The view was amazing and the host was so nice and quick to get a hold of. We are a family of 5 and I would 10/10 recommend for anyone!!

Fantastic Stay

The kids had an awesome time swimming in the lake and communities pools! We really enjoyed watching the sun set from the balcony! We will definitely book again!

This condo was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we walked in we felt like we were home. The host did a great job of welcoming and communicating throughout the weekend. The neighborhood itself was gated so we felt very safe from the start. We were able to dock the boat at the local marina and leave our trailer there for the weekend as we parked our boat there on the water at the Condo for easy access. We will definitely be back soon.

Amazing Hosts…highly recommend

The condo was great…clean and very welcoming. Our day was very long and stressful. It was so comforting to finally arrive and find our favorite snacks/drinks along with a personalized welcome message. Kelly and her husband are such thoughtful hosts and frequently checked in to see if we needed anything. Due to a medical emergency, we had to unexpectedly stay in the area longer. They quickly offered to extend our stay at their place …no charge. It’s getting harder to find good people in this world. We are so lucky to have rented from two of them. We would definitely stay with them again and highly recommend their “Happy Place”!
I’ve never stayed anywhere with a personalized, framed welcome.

Needs some upgrades

The whole place was very nice with the exception of a couple things. The mattress in the master bedroom was very worn out where if you laid in the middle and moved to either side of the bed you roll down into the worn spots on the bed. The AC didn’t work very well making the stay a little miserable especially at night while trying to sleep. Also on the last day of the stay, we were woken up around 730 am due to roofing construction that was going on. Not a pleasant start to the last day there. Was no communication from property owners about said construction

Great location / great accommodations

We wish we would have had more time over the weekend to enjoy this amazing property, but were on the go with other things. Still, we loved everything about this property and it will definitely be on our list of places to return to in the future.

Hi all! Thank you for your interest at Our Happy Place! I decided on the name as I love to sit on the balcony with my coffee and relax with the tranquil view of the water!

I am a high school counselor. I love my job and students! I specialize in College & Career and feel rewarded everyday in helping students prepare for their future.

I am married with two grown children and an amazing 5-year old granddaughter. My husband and I enjoy boating and cycling. We have ridden the MS150 twice and look forward to our 3rd year. I am also a clogger. No, we do not wear wooden shoes! We are a group of ladies who love to dance and perform at festivals and local venues.

We love living in April Sound and enjoy the country club life and amazing residents.

Thanks again for looking at our condo! We would love to share it with you!

We initially purchased the condo in April Sound as our weekend get-a-way. We fell in love with the safety of the neighborhood, the activities, and boating on the lake and decided to buy our permanent home here. The home we purchased is on the golf course and I couldn't imagine giving up our condo with the water view so we decided to keep it and share our happy place with others.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

April Sound is a comfortable, safe, and amazing Country Club community. To date, every guest has been amazing and left our home as if it was their own. The front gate is manned with security that check each guest in individually. The location is perfect if looking for a lake get-a-away. We also have a large population of our guests stay for weddings as many venues are very close. We are happy to assist in your plans to visit the area!
