The property was clean and comfortable. The beds are great and they provide extra blankets. There are lots kitchen supplies for cooking and grilling. The sunrise views are simply stunning. There is plenty of room on the deck. We had to call the property manager twice for a couple of issues and they responded immediately. Couldnt have asked for better service. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Cottage of fun

This cottage is so beautiful. When we walked in ,it was immediate relaxation. We played games on the deck with the surf sounds. My 4 year grand daughter loved the bird book. We read it cover to cover. The next morning she spotted the Franklin gull and pointed it out.

This beach house has just about everything you need or want. I had to make a birthday cake for my daughter and they even had a hand mixer.Plenty of towels, paper goods and cleaning supplies. The AC works great and was very comfortable. Location was nice and as always less crowded during the week. Sliding door was extremely difficult to open and close especially for my 7 year old daughter and our 50 something year old shoulders. Our family will definitely be back. You can tell the owners want you to enjoy your stay and come and stay again.

Cottage del Mar is a beautiful home and in a perfect location. It had everything we needed. The beach was wonderful and just steps from the house. We enjoyed beach combing and all the beautiful shells that we found.

Valentine's Weekend Getaway

Cottage del Mar is the perfect cozy cottage for a romantic weekend on the coast. Beautiful sunrises from the master bedroom with gorgeous sunsets from the deck. Strolls along the beach followed by the welcoming pleasantries of the cottage.

My family and I had the most relaxing time at Cottage! The view was amazing watching the sunrise. So much shell coverage on the beach to go beach combing all day! The house was so refreshingly clean, very cozy and comfortable and everything needed for our stay. The owners are also very helpful and so very nice. I looked forward to staying here again soon!!

Absolutely Loved Cottage del Mar Once Again!

You truly cannot beat the mix of perfect location (right on the beach) and quiet solitude. If you want a family vacation where the kids can enjoy time all day long in the sand and waves and be able to keep an eye on them from your back porch, this is the place! Clean and inviting interior which makes you feel right at home. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Hosts are easy to reach with any questions. Highly recommend. Also, the kids really love the double bunk bedroom. They got to stay up late and watch movies together (Memories forever).

So glad we booked

The house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Being on the shoreline meant almost unobstructed views and the clear sounds of the waves on the shore. We wished that the advertisement sign on the deck rail wasn't in the way though. A location under the house or on the master bedroom wall seems like it would have accomplished the same goal. Being further away from Crystal meant driving just a bit for groceries and food, but the lower traffic on the beach was well worth it. The deck furniture was excellent and allowed for everyone in the house to enjoy a spot. We would definitely recommend and would stay in again.

GREAT LOCATION

I loved the location of this house. It was right on the beach and was not in the busiest part so there was hardly anyone on the beach. I do have 3 complaints. We had a very hard time every time we used the code to get into the house; I really think the keypad needs repair or be replaced. The keypad is outside the bedroom door with a staircase that is not covered. I don't think the instructions for check-in said this so initially we went to the back door which did have a covered deck. We had alot of rain during the time we were there and every time we came back to the house and tried using the code to get in, as I said before, would take forever, so on several occasions we got drenched before we ever got the door to unlock. The second complaint is there were no instructions on operating the televisions. They were all smart televisions that you had to use streaming services. I knew this ahead of time, but we had a hard time being able to access much. The day before we left my husband finally realized that the t.v. in the living room had a way to set up a guest account that gave you access to quite a bit, but the t.v. in the master bedroom was completely different so never could do that on that one. Third complaint was the combo coffee pot/kcup machine. We brought kcups with us but the kcup part of the coffee maker did not work at all. But even with these complaints I still loved staying here and would definitely stay again. The house was nice, the beds were comfortable, the location was fantastic.

Fabulous Father's Day

Cottage del Mar is always welcoming and well prepared. During our stay a minor maintenance issue occurred. It was resolved in less than one hour from the initial call. All handled professionally and expeditiously.

Cozy beachfront getaway

Cottage Del Mar was perfect for a relaxing and peaceful getaway. We enjoyed being beachfront, watching the sunrise on the deck and long walks on the beach. The house has a great setup and had everything we needed. It was comfortable, clean, and cozy. We will be back!

Another fantastic Stay!

Our second stay here. Beautiful house. We love the location, not in the middle of all the craziness. Feels like having your own private beach. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need. We appreciate the very small check out list. Most vacation rentals charge a high cleaning fee, but then ask you to do basically clean the entire house prior to check out. Not the case here. Highly recommend this location and will definitely stay again. Pet friendly is another bonus.

Winter getaway

Wonderful house! Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Had one of the best views of the gulf. Just need a bigger sign with the address was a little hard to find, but overall highly recommend!

Great retreat

Second time to stay at this great beach house. Everything was great. Perfect layout. Perfect view of the beach and water, etc. or would be nice of these rentals had the normal lodging staples of bath soap and shampoo, but otherwise- it had everything needed. Not a reflect on the house, but there was a lot of standing water on Bolivar and the mosquitoes were like something out of a horror film- making ground level use impossible. But the huge upstairs deck was an amazing place to be. We will be back!

New Year's on the Beach

We loved our stay! It was so nice being directly on the beach. We were constantly going back and forth from the beach to the house for meals, grabbing something we needed, etc. We were impressed with the sea shells we collected in this area of the beach. The house is away from crowds which was great with vacationing with my Autistic kiddo.
