¡Nuestra casa del lago está a solo unos pasos del agua! Se encuentra directamente en el hermoso lago Santeetlah en una zona tranquila a solo tres millas de la ciudad de Robbinsville. El lago Santeetlah cubre 2.800 acres y tiene más de 80 millas de costa, de las cuales el 80% se encuentra en el bosque nacional de Nantahala. Arreglos para dormir: el piso principal tiene un dormitorio con una cama king y baño completo. Arriba tiene dos dormitorios y un baño completo. Un dormitorio tiene una cama king y el otro tiene una cama queen. En la planta baja hay una cama queen y baño completo.
Perfecto para una escapada tranquila al lago de montaña, un retiro familiar o una reunión divertida con amigos. Nada y pesca en el muelle privado o explora el área inmediata. ¡No faltan actividades para los aventureros! Disfrute de un paraíso para los amantes de las actividades al aire libre con fácil acceso al alquiler de botes en Jim Hensley (828-479-4911) o en el lago Santeetlah Marina, rafting en aguas bravas en Nantahala, senderismo de un día en el sendero de los Apalaches y ciclismo en Tsali. We had such an incredible time at the home! My wife and I had a quick getaway with the hopes that we could catch the fall foliage turning from green and enjoy surrounding nature. The lakefront location was super peaceful and was conveniently located to the limited number of nearby restaurants and grocery shoppingGail, our host, was super easy to communicate with and everything about the house met or exceeded our expectations. We’d gladly stay there again!

Mountain lake paradise

We have stayed several places on lake Santeetlah for many years. All have been wonderful, however, this is our favorite home so far. We have all decided this is where we want to stay next year. Homeowner was very attentive and personal. Wonderful experience! Highly recommended!!!!

Magical Place in the Mountains

This house was perfect for a reunion of college friends - very clean and plenty of space for people to spread out and relax. The lake house is right on the water - no steep steps to the water required. The house is also very conveniently located close to a well-stocked grocery store and some great scenic hiking trials. Pretty much an idyllic place to spend a week

Annual Lake Santeetlah trip

This is our second year renting this house. It’s beautiful, comfortable, spotlessly clean. It has a great dock and screened porch. Very nice property!

Great Place

This is a great place that is very clean and well maintained as shown in the pictures. We had a nice time and during our stay we enjoyed the large screened in back porch, using out wave runner on lake, tubing near Bryson City and going to one of the local zip lines. We recommend this place and plan on returning next summer.

We had a wonderful time. House is very clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you need. Our girls loved the kayaks and cornhole game. Gail is so friendly and great to work with. I highly recommend this home. Santeetlah lake is absolutely gorgeous. The water is so clean and clear. We are already looking forward to next year we plan to make this a yearly event.

Labor Day Weekend at Lake Santeetlah

The home was graciously appointed with everything we needed for a fabulous vacation! The layout provided privacy for individuals, as well as the screened porch overlooking the lake provided a wonderful gathering spot. We loved the kayaks! Super place with very kind hosts!

Lovely Lake Santeetlah for Thanksgiving

We had good communication with the host before our visit. It was our first family trip to Lake Santeetlah, although my son was familiar with it from kayaking Cheoah River. I recommend side trips to Joyce Kilmer Forest and its giant 400+ year old poplar trees as well as the Tapoco Tavern. The pictures of the house are accurate and being right on the water would be super in the summer.

Water Ski Vacation

Came hear with 7 adults and an infant. House fit us perfectly. House was clean and porches were perfect for lounging around. Dock was great as we could keep the boat at the house to ski every morning.

Incredible Lake House

Our group takes an annual trip to the Dragon and we've always wanted to rent a house on the water, this place blew us away! Inside the rooms are spacious and well equipped, we appreciated the well stocked cookware when making meals for everyone. The twin porches were wonderful for enjoying the weather day or night, and the dock was a huge highlight. We spent hours swimming and kayaking, everyone had a great time and commented on what an awesome place to stay we booked. We will absolutely be coming here again!

Lake Front Vaca

We loved our stay here! Everything was clean and orderly. So many provisions. Communication with the owner was great. The location and access to the water and dock can’t be beat (just a few steps down from where the kayaks are stored). Wonderful screened in porch with comfortable seating; endless views as the sun changed over the course of the day.

Family Time

The lake house was perfect for our family. The house had everything we needed. The kids loved the downstairs, with the bunk beds. The ease of getting to the lake was amazing. We spent many hours swimming off the dock. Some might complain of the spotty Internet and cell service, personally I loved our family being a little disconnected from the world. Thank you for sharing your home with us

Another Wonderful Stay

This was my family's 3rd stay and it truly is a home away from home! We absolutely love the house and the lake and surrounding scenery is breathtaking. We spent a wonderful relaxing week on the lake both in our own boat that we brought down but the kids had a great time kayaking in the 2 kayaks that are on the property. Our favorite spot when not enjoying the lake was the screened in porch. Gail and Ron are wonderful people to work with and have always been very helpful and accommodating! They even left us a wonderful pie, which everyone loved!

Perfect Lakehouse

This is the 2nd time for my husband and I staying at this lake house. The house is immaculate and clean, bed is comfortable and is well stocked with all that we needed. The lake is just steps away. We brought our own kayaks for fishing and had no problems getting them to the dock. We loved exploring Lake Santeetlah - the view is spectacular. Ron and Gail were just a call away and were helpful and attentive hosts. Will definitely be returning!

Great lake access

I was there with my 2 adult children and their spouses, including my 19 month old grandson. The house was perfect for us. Three separate sleeping spaces and baths gave all of us plenty of space and privacy. The house is beautiful and comfortable. We are accustomed to a view of the mountains, but the creek had a nice view and was close to the big water. The house is also close to town/grocery store. Great dock! We kayaked, rented a pontoon boat for 1 day, and swam off the dock. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened porch. The host was totally accessible and responsive the few questions that I had.

Wonderful lake house!

My wife and I loved our stay at this lake house. The house is well designed. There is a great room with a wood burning fireplace. My wife enjoyed lying on the couch in front of the fireplace while still having a view of the lake which was exactly what she wanted. The screened porch has a vaulted ceiling which opens up the views from the porch and the great room. The main floor has a bedroom, great room, kitchen, and screened porch so a couple can be just on the main floor and not feel lost in a large house. Yet with 2 bedrooms upstairs and a bed in the downstairs room it could accommodate up to 8 people comfortably. The house is well constructed, clean and with updated kitchen appliances. It is tastefully decorated and furnished.There is safe and easy access from the road to the house and from the house to the lake. I enjoyed kayaking and we enjoyed visiting Wehrloom Honey. Would definitely like to return.
