Welcome to Sailboat Sunsets, a pet-friendly, top-floor waterfront duplex in Silver Strand designed for easy coastal living. With harbor views right outside your door, this bright and airy home invites you to slow down—watch sailboats drift by, grill dinner on the private deck, or take a short walk to the beach. Comfortable, well equipped, and thoughtfully laid out, it’s an ideal retreat for families and groups looking for a relaxed beach getaway.

**Guest Access
Guests enjoy private, exclusive access to the entire top-floor duplex, including all interior spaces and the large, private waterfront deck.

Check-in is seamless with keyless self-entry. We respect your privacy throughout your stay and are always available via the app or phone if you need assistance.

**Booking process
After booking, you will receive a message asking you to confirm your reservation and digitally sign our standard rental agreement. Once signed, you will be emailed access to your Guest Portal, where all important information lives, including check-in details, WiFi, and local recommendations.
Your entry code will be released 48 hours before check-in inside the Guest Portal.
Early check-in may be requested through the Guest Portal when available.
A $25 per dog, per stay pet fee applies and can be paid through the Guest Portal or HostCo Store.
If you do not receive our emails, please check your spam or junk folder.

Great location to Silverstrand beach

This is a solid place to stay if you want to just hang at the beach. Just walk across the street and your feet are in the sand. Boardwalk made it easy for little kids and seniors. I would go back but next time for more days. Thank you for letting us use the house.

Comfy home in Oxnard

Property was clean and well maintained and in a nice location. Was able to walk across the street to view the sea lions relaxing on the beach everyday. Enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful & clean 1st Floor Property across the street from Kiddie Beach

We loved our stay here, and will likely come again. It's a beautiful & clean 1st floor property across the street from Kiddie Beach. The beach is perfect for young kids. We loved the view of the harbor from the kitchen and living room. The street can be a little busy, so crossing the street was the only draw back.

Incredible location with beautiful view!!

Property was beautiful, clean and as pictured in photographs. Communication was great and check in and check out was smooth. House is across from harbor and has a beautiful view of incoming and outgoing boats. House is within walking distance of a beautiful beach. We will definately staying there again...

Modern, clean, dog-friendly, and great location

My family (6) enjoyed our short stay here, and we wished we could have stayed a few days more. The location was great, just walk across the street to the beach to see the sea lions and sunset. Everything was clean and organized, and the floor plan was nice. The balcony/patio in the back was cozy, quiet, and private despite being on a busy street. So grateful to find a nice dog friendly place that's clean. Would recommend!

Great place and location

Enjoyed the home and location. My friends and I stayed in the upstairs unit and found everything so nice and clean. The outside desk was our favorite spot to lounge and have breakfast every morning . The host were also very nice and accommodating. There is a nice small beach across the street and the house is across from the harbor, which is great for watching the incoming/ outgoing boats. I will definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. The property was wonderful. Spacious, clean and as advertised. The view of the harbor and nearby seals and beach added perfect touches to our adventure. Made it to downtown Ventura nearby and had great food and bars at our fingertips. Love the house. It made our stay amazing. The outdoor patio also made for a great gathering spot. Would highly recommend this place for any sized group.

All you could expect

This was our second stay at this property in last two years. We had five adults and one infant at this stay. Grat view of th harbor and short walk to the beach and ocean. Best value and location

We absolutely loved this property. Across the street from a small beach in the channel (great for kids). A very short walk to Silver Strand beach which is gorgeous and all the waves. It was fun to look out the window and watch the boats go by! The back patio was out of the breeze and great to enjoy the warm sun with your coffee. The house was as cozy and adorable as the pictures. My parents and I missed it after we left. Great experience!

Fantastic stay! Was pleasantly surprised that as a pet friendly rental you couldn’t tell because the place was very clean & well taken care of…immaculate if you will. Lots of room for 4 adults & a toddler. Top deck which we had was a lovely addition to be able to enjoy throughout the day. Location was great! You could see from the living room/dining area the channel. Made watching for boats fun & you could see & hear some seals/sea lions too! We could easily take a short leisurely walk to get to the Strand Beach which was nice & not crowded. Convenient location to grocery & other stores for necessities while staying there. Was also a quiet neighborhood considering so close to the beach/ocean. Met a few neighbors who were very nice too. Just a really good stay there. If possible & you’re thinking of visiting Oxnard we’d definitely recommend this particular rental or perhaps one of their others based on our visit.

Awesome unit

The unit was very clean and the location was perfect. The Wi-Fi works on and off and the main bedroom needs a blackout curtain. It also has a glass door. So, if you cannot sleep with lights, you can wear a eye mask. We will stay there again!

Great getaway!

Our family of 7 stayed here and had a terrific experience. The property is great, well maintained, easy walk to the beach, and great views of the harbor and sunsets. We had a great time, and would definitely recommend this VRBO. Note RE Pets: when I was searching for our VRBO, I selected "pet friendly". A few days before check-in we received the contract, which stated no cats - this was not previously known. So - if you are looking for pet friendly place that allows cats you will want to look elsewhere, or get something arranged with the property before booking this location.

Location is perfect!

Very spacious with nice sized bedrooms and very nice and clean bathrooms! Cozy bedding and beds. Nice layout of living room with the large dining table right there too makes mealtime easy and game times too. Comfortable kitchen that’s easy to cook in. The covered patio deck was great and we used the BBQ. So easy to walk to the beach with kiddie beach right there. The corner store nearby walking distance was great for snacks, drinks and treats. Garage parking was so nice and parking in general kn that little street was so easy for our guest to park there for the day. The view of the channel from the living room and opening the windows to let that ocean breeze in was wonderful too. Communication with Lisa was easy and friendly. We hope to stay here again! Thanks!!

We really liked the house. Everything you could need is there. Great location on Silver Strand beach. Only downside was the unexpected company across the street. There was well over one hundred Seals that stayed the entire five days of our stay. They barked constantly around the clock, never shut up. Had hoped to take my grand kids to the kiddie beach. But the seals made that impossible. Nothing the property owners could have done. This has never happened before. Made the best of it. We all still had fun.

Everything was perfect!

This townhouse is in a great location with a short walk to the beach and to the corner store. The townhouse is supplied with all the basics you need for your stay. Lots of towels was an added plus. It was nice to have a washer and dryer and laundry soap was supplied! The rooms were very comfy and the bathrooms were perfect. The only thing we didn't figure out was how to pull out the sofa bed, but my 19 year old just slept on the couch. There were 7 of us and it was very comfortable. The deck was great but it was too cold to hang out. The garage was perfect for one car. We didn't use the kayak because of the weather but would definitely next time. Thanks to Lisa for being so responsive to our questions. We will be back!

We'd love to go back

There is a lot of good to say about this place. The property manager is awesome. They do a great job keeping you informed, check in is easy, and the check out process is minimal. The location is everything the pictures represent. It's in a great part of the city and right across from the harbor. There is access to anything you need just a few miles away, or at the local corner store. You can take in a perfect sunset right from the dinner table. The interior has a fresh look and feel to it. Bedrooms are great, with comfy and clean beds. Bathrooms are big, with big mirrors, and really well lit. Kitchen and front area make for great family time while cooking and relaxing. Parking was never an issue. They have one dedicated spot in the garage, but we didn't use it. We opted to park on the street, just to keep in and out easy. Long story short - worth it.

We host homes in Silver Strand, Hollywood Beach, and Pierpont Beach. These are truly hidden gems between the more well-known Malibu and Santa Barbara beaches. we have so much to offer whether it be uncrowded beaches or two marinas where you can rent jet, skis and paddle boards or take a tour to Anacapa Island and go whale watching. The lively downtown district of Ventura has live music and local shops and restaurants that you should definitely venture to see.

"Perfection is one word that describes Lisa’s place! Very comfortable and the attention to details were incomparable to any Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Fully stocked kitchen down to extras such as batteries.We enjoyed the location walking across the street to the beach. Cute eateries and a market close by. We didn’t need our car at all!I have never had a host that was so accommodating. I received a text the morning after we checked in to see how the night was and to ask if we needed anything. Amazing!
