Beautiful wood like cabin in a 2 story condo. Next to snowshoe village with 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. This condo will sleeps 9 adults and 3 kids. Condo is Professionally cleaned and towels and sheets are provided. Electric baseboard heater for the winter months.

Perfect stay

Conveniently located to the village, slopes, Split Rock Pools, and grocery. I've been going to snowshoe for 30 years, this is definitely the location to be at.

Kitchen was fully stocked with cookware & dishes. Microwave door cracked, but still works. Furniture was in okay condition, but warn. Bathroom's were small and we had issues with no hot water at times. Oh and the lights in master bathroom sparked/flickered as you turned it on. I would have it checked. The patio was full of snow. Would've been nice to have a snow shovel on it. Also the chairs need to be replaced. In addition the light was out. Broken lamp in the living room hanging by the coat rack. Not what you want to see. Most dressers & closet we're full of stuff. No place to put your stuff. The only thing we think was updated was the bathrooms & maybe the floors. Wouldn't stay at place again unless alot of grades were made.

Great condo!

This was a great place to stay with 4 kids - lots of rooms and beds and the kitchen had everything we needed to eat dinners in. Julia was super responsive and helpful with information about the mountain and directions.

Great Snowshoe Trip

The place was perfect for my ski trip! Plenty of beds and space for people to spread out and have fun. The dining room table was the perfect size for my group. I’d definitely stay here in the future!

Spacious place on top of the mountain

Even though its a bit of a walk to the slopes, the condo has a lot more space than other places that may be closer. The bathrooms are recently remodeled along with other parts of the condo. There was a ton of snow during our stay, conditions are the best they've been in 10 years

Great Condo for large family

My wife and I along with our 3 sons and wives (1 baby) stayed for 3 nights and went skiing. Plenty of room to sleep all of us. Could walk to the pool, slopes, and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.

great location

We really enjoyed the ease of access to the village and the little store that serves the area. The condo also had a lot of character and lots of beds, so it fit our needs well. Thanks so much!

Good for a larger group, short walk to the village

The unit was conveniently located with a short walk to the village or a shuttle stop right out front. The unit was well equipped to handle a 2+ family group.

Great property for a family ski getaway.

Very clean and well appointed property located a very short walk to slopes, market and the village. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms slept 8 comfortably. Communication with the property manager was also excellent. We will be renting this property again. Thank you!

Great stray

A group of friends came up for the end of season pond skim at Snowshoe. Our leatherbark unit was large enough for all of us and well appointed. Comfortable beds and couches and close the slopes. We would stay again.

Great Location

This property was in Leatherbark and was a short walk to the Village or the shuttle picked up right out front. Great parking and a easy unload of bags, equipment and supplies. The condo was more than adequate for what we needed. Nothing fancy or modern but a great place for the price and location. The bathrooms were very small but all worked as needed. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed to prepare meals for eight of us at night. Would definitely stay here again. A little updating and maintenance would make this spot perfect!

Needs work

Place is very dated. More than one thing needs work. Bathrooms and bedrooms are small. Water leaking through ceiling from upstairs bathroom. Upstairs tv did not work at all. Would have given 2 stars if not for the communication with owner.

Everything you need!!

First time to Snowshoe and stumbled upon this gem. More space than we needed with 3 full bathrooms and 4 bedrooms with a loft with sleeping accommodation as well. Top floor, so no neighbor noise. Beautiful view out family room windows and off back porch. Fully functional and stocked kitchen with laundry if needed. Rooms are small as well as bathrooms, but it’s all you need. Kitchen counter tops are an updated marble. The Leatherbark bus stop is super close to the unit and a bus comes by probably every ten minutes. Parking is ample as the lot is gated Julia is a dream to work with and cares about her unit and makes sure her tentants are happy as well. She gave great advice for skiing as well as restaurants.

Dirty dishes, limited supplies, no washer/dryer

Cutting knives didn’t really cut, dirty dishes were left in the dishwasher, one bed upstairs was open-air (meaning there was no door to close so they heard everything that happened downstairs), no washer/dryer, not even enough paper towels, not enough toilet paper, not enough dishwashing detergent, ot enough soap and shampoo. It was a pretty far walk to the slopes, the shuttle took forever, showers weren’t meant for people over 6’ tall, doesn’t have a smart tv.

Comfortable and convenient

Our family of 4 adults and 2 children stayed in this unit for 3 nights. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very small, but that was fine because we didn't spend much time in them! The comfortable living room and upstairs loft area allowed for everyone to spread out and relax. The kitchen was also very small, but met all of our needs without issue. Check in using a lock code was super easy, check out was generous at 11am, and communication with the owners was smooth. The location is quiet and convenient - easy to catch the free shuttle and also easy to walk to the pools, the Village, and the slopes. We would definitely stay here again!

GREAT WEEKEND! GREAT HOME!

We had such a wonderful weekend at Leather Bark! The home is as exactly as described with no surprised. The home was well-stocked and felt very cozy. Owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. Will definitely be considering for return trips!

Clean, Cozy and Convenient

Nice place to rent. Went skiing with some friends and stayed for a few days. Cozy and clean as stated. It was a little dated but in-line with expectations price wise. Would stay there again in the future.

Hello and Thank you for booking with us. We first starting skiing 2 years ago and booked our first trip with Leatherbark and we loved it so much we had the opportunity to buy one. We love that we can walk to the village enjoy all the restaurants there. The best one is the Pizza place. they have the best pizza there. We also like the beautiful mountain and picturesque views that are all around us.
