CASA LA RISA encompasses 3 buildings on a BEACHFRONT lot.
3 Bdrm Main House sleeps up to 13 in beds. Cleaning fee is only $155 if booking just the 3-bedroom main house. **Cleaning fee is adjustable depending on how many of the buildings you book/use.
Please ask Kim for cleaning fee adjustments.
1 Bdrm Detached Bunk House Suite sleeps 8.
1 Bedroom Detached private casita sleeps 7+.
**THE LISTED NIGHTLY RATE is for the Main house & Bunk Room for up to 18 guests with 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms. See bedroom description for type of beds in each room.
RENT Main house only, just the Casita Apartment, or a combo of 2 or 3.
Ask Kim to adjust the Vrbo quote if you would like to book just the 3 bedroom main house or just the 1 bedroom casita.
The 3 units are detached. The 1 bedroom Casita is private with a short wall between it and the main house.
The entry courtyard is gated and secure to let your doggies run around.

Combine these cozy beachfront homes to suit the size of your group.
The rental rate listed is for the 3 bdrm Main House and the BUNK HOUSE max 18 people for this rate.

Add the CASITA House to make it a 5 bdrm 5.5 bath property.
The Rate for "adding" the CASITA House starts $150 and can accommodate 7 or 8.

**The Max occupancy 27 is the max guests allowed on the property not how many guests you can have for the listed price. The listed price is for the MAIN HOUSE and the BUNK HOUSE @ 4 bedroom 4 bath. Max guests for that price is 18.

We are here to make sure YOU PICK OUR HOME for your relaxing quiet beach vacation. We love questions since the rates increase slightly per person over 18 count to cover the expenses of extra guests, property use, and utilities. On the rental contract, it is very important to enter all guests and Lucky Dogs.

Casa La Risa is a newer listing. Comfy and cozy with all the amenities you need for a private beach home vacation.
We have plenty of patio furniture. Please bring your own beach camp chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels.
The kitchens are nicely appointed with small appliances, serve ware, cook ware.
**We suggest bringing paper & plastic serve ware so you can spend less time in the kitchen and more time On The Beach!
We provide plenty of bath towels.
Bring your own bath products and Beach Towels.

There is a big screen Smart TV(Wi-fi streaming) in the main house living room. Stream Netflix, Roku, Prime video, sports and other popular programming apps.
The casita has a SMART TV & game TV with a Roku plug in. Direct TV is not available in our area at this time.
Brand new high efficiency AC & heat covers each room for your comfort.

Casa La Risa is located in Playa Miramar. Just east of city center 25 minutes.
Away from the crowds and noise. This smooth sandy pet friendly beach has only 1 row of homes. Enjoy walking the beach collecting shells and sand dollars with out crowds of people all around you.
GOLF at the Beautiful Mayan Resort Jack Nicolaus designed course.
Enjoy the restaurants and bars of the resort. Just 5 minutes from Casa La Risa.

Total Relaxation!!

Nestled on a serene stretch of shoreline on the Sea of Cortez, this beachfront Vrbo was nothing short of a dream come true. From the moment we arrived, the tranquil sound of waves greeted us, setting the tone for an unforgettable stay. The home itself was a masterpiece, seamlessly blending modern luxury with coastal charm. The porches were the favorite both day and night with there views of the turquoise Sea of Cortez. The interior was a sanctuary of comfort, featuring plush furnishings, crisp white linens, and tasteful décor that reflected the beauty of the surrounding landscape. The open-concept living space connected effortlessly to the modern kitchen with its Spanish feel. Perfect for preparing meals to enjoy with the views from the deck and the expansive balcony overlooking the sea. Every bedroom felt like a private retreat, each with its own ocean view, allowing us to wake up to the sight of gentle waves kissing the shore. The outdoor space was the highlight of the property. The beachfront sandy beach stretched for miles, perfect for sunrise walks or simply soaking in the peaceful ambiance.This Vrbo truly captured the essence of paradise. Whether we were sipping diet cokes on the balcony or eating fresh mangos on the beach. This is a must stay.

Rocky point house

Property is secluded in a quiet beach. Felt like we had the beach to ourselves. The kitchen is well Stocked and there was plenty of room for everyone (23 of us). We really enjoyed our stay.

Best vacation EVER!

This was just what our family needed!! The drive over was a breeze. The home was about 20 minutes outside of all the hustle and bustle of Rocky point there is a guard and we felt safe our entire time. We practically had the beach to ourselves. We had everything we needed to cook and enjoy the beach! The rooms are so fun and the large property set up was fun! All the teenagers stayed in a bunk house which was nice for the early to bed and exhausted from the fun little kid’s! Kim and Barney were great and left us a welcome note as I was a little nervous coming. So glad we did. Most relaxing vacation ever!

Amazing!!!

First off I’d like to say how easy the drive was…coming into Mexico through Lukeville. No traffic at all, a quick car search at the border and we were on our way! I felt safe the whole time. The beach house was clean and and ready for us to relax. The property is quite large and we had the beach pretty much to ourselves. The home was well equipped with everything we needed! You can tell it’s made for big families with the size of the pans! ;) also the beds were dreamy! Kim and Barney were amazing hosts, they called to make sure we had everything we needed! I’ve never had a host do that before! I can’t wait to visit La Risa again! -Allie

Nice place. Not close to town. Must have plenty of ice and groceries

Could use brooms to clean during your stay. Not happy being charged extra $ for additional space when the rental property offers all rooms and restrooms in rental advertising.

GORGEOUS HOUSE AND LOCATION!

This was the perfect vacation getaway for our family. The property was very spacious, quiet, and a wonderful view of the ocean. The balconies we're big and the decor throughout was beautifully done. I would recommend this property to anyone, you won't be disappointed!

Best vacation ever!!!

This is our first time down to Rocky point. I have a large family and was told Playa Miramar is a quiet beach with very few vendors! Let me tell you it was wonderful! The beach was right out the door and This home had everything we needed! The bedrooms are super roomy and comfy beds. My girls loved sleeping in the mermaid room! There is a strip of lava rock that shows at low tide. My kids loved looking for sea creatures even found an octopus and a few star fish. But at high tide the water is high enough so that you don’t hit your toes! It was so perfect! Kim was our property manager and was so helpful in making sure we had everything we needed. It was a perfect vacation! Can’t wait to come back!!!
