Located in the Heart of Key Largo, in a 24 acre private community you will find Kawama Yacht Club which is surrounded by the famous John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. The property amenities include 2 heated swimming pools, a one of a kind Saltwater Lagoon stocked with tropical fish and a cozy, sandy, beach area, private marina with free boat ramp, trailer parking, outdoor bbq areas and tennis courts.

This fully renovated townhouse has a new kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The living area has a queen sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress and a 75' smart TV. The unit has a front porch area with seating and a bbq. The back of the unit overlooks the saltwater lagoon. Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms one is the master with a king bed and a screen balcony. The second bedroom has a full size and twin size bed.

The upstairs bathroom is fully remodeled with twin shower heads.

Golf Cart is available to guest (waiver signature required)

There are plenty of great restaurants in the area some within walking distance.

Boating: If you plan to bring your private vessel you will need to provide proof of $300,000 liability Insurance to the guard for entrance.

Boat Ramp is free of charge and trailer parking is on a first come basis.

The host was so kind, for the price, you really get a great property to stay at! Everything was clean, the lagoon was such a fun amenity, and the place itself was luxurious! I will 100% be keeping this place in mind the next time i visit the Keys!

Absolutely everything was great here! The place is super nice and has everything you need for a relaxing week. The private community has so many nice people. The condo is steps from the lagoon and steps from the pool. The golf cart was an added bonus to take down by the water and watch the sunset. We played pickleball as well. The location of the condo is close to restaurants and everything else ya need. Thanks Alberto for a great week with our two teenage boys in Key Largo!

Great family stay in Key Largo!

Stayed at this property with the family for Easter weekend and had a great time. Property is as described and very clean. Place has something for everyone to do from our 5 yr old to our teens who fished all day and night from the jetty. Host is very responsive and the place is immaculate. Grey stay!

Great stay

We had a great time staying at this property! Albert is a very gracious host and quick to respond to any questions. The property has pretty much anything you need plus lots of extras. Very clean and also has lots of cleaning supplies and washer and drier, which is great when you have kids. The lagoon is really cool, we spent a lot of time checking out the fish and using the paddle boards. We would definitely recommend this property.

This property was even better than we expected. Everything you would need, beautiful unit, wonderful amenities and perfect location. The lagoon was a huge hit and the mornings were perfect driving the golf cart to the water for a cup of coffee. Alberto was a great host and was very helpful. Definitely hope to return!

Excellent Property and Host

This unit was exceptionally comfortable and clean, and the host, Alberto, is fantastic. He is very responsive and was very helpful when we had a few questions about the property. He even made special arrangements to provide a pack n' play crib for my one year old. The unit is perfectly located on the property, directly across from the lagoon and just a few yards away from the pool. The golf cart is a great addition, but we honestly didn't use it much as everything is so close to the unit. We are already planning another visit with friends!

Exceptional and relaxing

First of all, it was exceptionally clean. There are two bedrooms up stairs and a nice bathroom. One of the rooms has an extra twin bed. The downstairs has its own bathroom. The pull out couch was actually comfortable. All the appliances were nice and working. We also did laundry. We were able to bike ride to the point at the marina and watched sunsets daily. If you look out the back there is a body of water that the kids snorkeled It was close to restaurants The owner, Alberto, was wonderful and always easily to reach. We did not have any issues. Rent it highly recommend this place. We will be back !

First off, the host was Awesome! Quick to respond with any questions we had. The place is beautiful and newly remodeled. Unobstructed view of the lagoon and super close to the entry point in the lagoon and super close to one of the 2 pools. The kitchen was well stocked, new appliances also. Bathrooms were very nice (the second bathroom) is a bit tight for larger adults but kids would be fine. Hugh primary bedroom with great views of the lagoon. The power shades throughout the home is a nice touch (plus black out rollers in both bedrooms). The townhome is located centrally in Key Largo and just minutes for Hwy. 1. If we come back to the area we would definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect location for our family's spring break! Albert started communicating with us the morning of our arrival and was able to accommodate us getting to the house earlier than the scheduled check in time! The house was beautiful and spotless when we arrived. There were so many little details that made the stay easy. From phone chargers and apple watch chargers in the master bedroom, beautiful remote controlled blinds and blackouts blinds, fully stocked kitchen, bikes and a golf cart, to scales for weighing suitcases before we left, he has thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. We loved being so close to the snorkeling end of the lagoon and both heated pools. Albert was an amazing host. He was very responsive and helpful when we needed anything. My son broke his arm a few weeks before the trip and I was worried about him swimming in the deep parts of the lagoon with only one arm. Albert didnt have any lifejackets at the house but arranged (within minutes) for us to borrow one from one of his friends that lived in the same complex. We spent hours snorkeling in the lagoon, swimming in the pool, playing tennis/pickelball and snorkeling at the beach at the housing complex. We were able to see many, many fish as well as lobsters, stingrays and crabs during high tide at the private beach--so amazing! We usually don't return to the same locations for our vacations but I would 100% love to come back to the Florida keys and Alberts home in the future.

Perfect Place, Great Location

Albert was extremely accommodating and very responsive. Excellent host! The unit is even better in person than in the pictures. Everything you need is there. The Lagoon is truly a unique, hidden gem. Great for watching and swimming with a wide variety of marine life. Everyone loved it and we constantly bounced between the pools and the lagoon. All just steps away from the unit. The Yacht Club is very close to great restaurants, charter boat activities, dolphin encounters, and more. Perfect base to explore Key Largo and beyond. Ideal vacation for our family. Can’t wait to return!

Excellent condo and excellent host!

I traveled to Key Largo with my husband and teenage sons over Easter weekend. We stayed at Alberto’s condo and had a wonderful experience. The place is exactly as pictured online - super modern, very clean and really comfortable. There was a saltwater lagoon right outside the back slider door that my sons loved swimming in. We never made it to the pool, but it was less than a one minute walk from the condo. It was a very secure location - front gate with guards 24 hours/day, so we felt very safe staying there. Alberto was a great host. He was super responsive when I texted with questions and even called once we arrived to make sure we were okay. His courteousness and attention made our stay that much better. I would definitely recommend staying here, especially if you are traveling with kids.

We had such a great experience! The place was very clean and easy for a family with small kids. They had a great time snorkeling in the lagoon right outside the porch. Alberto was a perfect host, offering suggestions for a great trip. Highly recommended!

Wonderful Key Largo stay!

This property was as beautiful in person as it showed in the listing. The newly remodeled condo/townhouse was perfect for our family of 4. The community of Kawama is a hidden gem with a great history. We enjoyed the the lagoon, the pool, and our walks out on the jetty to watch sunsets. We also enjoyed outdoor chairs in the sand to relax by the water. Our host, Alberto, was the best! He was very accommodating and kept good communications before, during, and after our stay. I can’t express enough how wonderful of an experience we had. We would definitely stay again when traveling to the Florida Keys!

Excellent Family Get-Away

Condo was clean, up to date, and well equipped for up to 7 people. Albert quickly responded to our needs during our stay and was very accommodating. The area was beautiful and centrally located for all our family's fun adventures. We would highly recommend booking this property!

Dream Stay 10/10

This place was absolutely perfect and our family is still talking about it. We did a trip to The Keys, starting in Key Largo then heading down to Key West staying in different VRBO's. This was our best housing during our trip and honestly of any short term rental we have done. You can tell a lot of time and energy was put into this place and the property owner couldn't have been more pleasant or prepared. When I booked it I was not too sure about the lagoon in the back based off the pictures but it turned out to be an absolute hit. It is salt water with a lot of awesome fish in there that we were able to snorkel with. People were swimming and kayaking in it as well. The golf cart was also a great addition and we were able to go to the beach area of the private community that has a great jetty you can walk and drive out to with different seating options and fire pits. We loved the surrounding area too for adventures like Canon Beach. I cannot rave enough about this place and the owner who was beyond helpful and kind, we wish every stay was like this one.
