Beautiful Sunset Beach Lake House on Lake Chetac

Sunset Beach Lake House is our family-owned piece of paradise located in Birchwood, WI. Wanting to share our love for the lake and this home with everyone when we are not able to be there. The house is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, and with an open concept kitchen, living room that overlooks spectacular views of the lake. Sit in the heated 3 seasoned room that overlooks the lake and enjoy the morning wildlife and wonderful sunset views.

Enjoy the cemented walkway to the private dock on the lake, where you can dock your boat. Lake Chetac is connected to Birch Lake and together they are about 2400 acres.

Lake Chetac is known for its excellent bass and bluegill fishing. Snowmobile and ATV/UTV trails are in close proximity. Snowmobile trail and ice fishing access right from property.

Located just minutes from Birchwood and about a 30-minute drive to both Hayward and Rice Lake where there is much to do.

Pontoon rental available upon request.
$200/day or $1,000.00/week (7 days).

Loved the location and the lake view was stellar. The layout of the home was nice and open and the best part was the Sunroom. We played cards out there the whole time. Nice to have two bathrooms, as there were only two of us so we both got our own. Thanks again. We had a great time.

Easy fun stay

We really enjoyed our stay! We spend most of the time with our family down the lake, but the cabin was a great respite from the group.

Perfect stay on the lake

Property was very clean and comfortable, felt like a home. Right on the water, secluded, and yet close enough to town to make quick trips when needed. Would happily stay again.

Excellent place! It had anything we needed! It was great for older people like us. No steps, easy walk down to the lake. The fishing was fantastic! The bench on the large dock is nice to fish from too. The younger ones used the paddle boat and swam a bit. The weather was perfect! The extra fridge in the huge garage was very thoughtful. We loved the sectional couch!

Family Vacation

The home was a perfect location with a beautiful view of the lake. The house had everything that we needed with the 3 season porch being a favorite. Communication with the owner was easy and efficient. Very happy with our stay and the family memories that were made!

Great spot for a long weekend.

Sleeps 6. We had a group that came up for a weekend of skiing in Hayward. Cabin is well appointed, and has good appliances and kitchen stuff, so cooking is easy. Would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful stay! Everything was easy, breezy from communication to check in check out. Ashley is very accommodating. So blessed that they chose to rent there property to other families!

2nd timed around

Perfect Retreat

My family and I stayed here during this years annual deer hunt in the blue hills. It was the perfect location for our group. We found this property to be very clean, spacious, and equipped with everything needed. Ashley was delightful to communicate with before, during, and after. We will be coming back for more.

Up North

Every year we take a trip or two to the Hayward area with our good friends. We were all happy with Ashley and the Sunset Beach Lake house and hope for a return visit. Everything we needed was readily available and well furnished to the point we didn't have to ask Ashley for anything. Ashley was very prompt early on before our arrival with the few questions we had. Everything was very clean and organized upon arrival. We may have been a little early for the fishing but did catch a few. Had a great dinner at Lost Land Lake Lodge which is also one of our must stops. Our wives had what they called retail therapy in Rice Lake and Hayward so they were happy as we were out fishing daily. Just want to thank Asley and Scott for letting us take a much needed vacation in their Lake House. Thanks again. Pat & Laura Don & Linda

Another enjoyable stay.

This was the second year my family has stayed here for the annual deer hunt. We love the openness of the main living/kitchen area and it’s location to our hunting grounds. Perfect rental for us.

Peaceful getaway

Very secluded property with an awesome view of the Lake. Filled with everything we needed for the time we were there, cooked in a lot of time and used the charcoal grill, great firepit in the back yard. Saw plenty of wildlife, and beautiful sunsets while sitting on the dock.
