Charming 1920s Bungalow – Walk to Historic Downtown Louisville

Step back in time without sacrificing modern comforts in this lovingly restored 1920s miner’s cottage. Fully renovated in 2021, this charming bungalow retains its historic character while offering stylish, updated amenities throughout.

Nestled on a quiet dead-end street next to Miner’s Field, you’re just a short walk from the heart of downtown Louisville, with easy access to coffee shops, restaurants, bars, boutiques, and year-round community events. Centrally located, you’ll be a quick drive from Boulder, Denver, Red Rocks Amphitheater, Eldora Mountain Resort, Eldorado Canyon, Rocky Mountain National Park, and the University of Colorado campus.

The home features two inviting bedrooms, each with an adjoining bathroom. The primary bath includes a spacious walk-in shower, while the guest bath highlights a beautifully restored original clawfoot tub—perfect for a relaxing soak. Additional sleeping space is available via sofa beds in both the living room and lounge.

The fully updated kitchen boasts high-end appliances including a gas range, Sub-Zero refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and a dedicated coffee bar. The cozy lounge is perfect for winding down, complete with a bar and vintage turntable for spinning your favorite vinyl.

Step outside to a private, fenced backyard featuring a “She Shed” with a vintage fridge, a flagstone patio, fire pit, tranquil pond, and a classic 1970 Airstream (not available for guest use). Enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails from the charming front porch, with views of local little league games just across the street.

Additional Notes:
• Security: For your safety and the protection of our property, Ring doorbell cameras are installed at the front and back exterior entrances. There are no interior cameras or monitoring devices inside the home.
• Pets: Well-behaved dogs are welcome with a $100 pet cleaning fee per dog. Sorry, no cats due to allergy concerns.
• Check-in/out: Check-in is at 4:00 PM MT; check-out is at 10:00 AM MT.
• Availability: If your preferred dates aren’t available or you’re interested in an extended stay, feel free to reach out—we may be able to accommodate special requests.

Amazing 5 days in this gem of a location, everything was perfect! Quiet, safe perfectly located to the old downtown corridor. Food aplenty, cute pubs, fun shopping. We jumped easily to Boulder, Rockies and Colorado Springs. Hosts were wonderfully communicative. Vinyl collection was fun with a fun nook to spin tunes and enjoy a local beer!

We love this cottage! My husband & I stayed here with our daughter & her fiancé to attend a wedding at a venue close bye. Communication between us and our host was constant and always available. When I told them where the three events were held they immediately told us all were in walking distance & it was great! We love the house. It was clean and the interior design is beautiful comfort! We enjoyed talking on the front porch swing with coffee in the mornings and enjoying beer & a glass of wine in the back courtyard. Just Lovely. We will definitely rent it again when in Louisville.

The good: This property is in a great location and was very clean. The yard is fantastic and made for a great place to hang out. They have plenty of dog toys and bowls if you're traveling with pets. They also allow small events and we were able to have a bbq for family.The bad: The layout of the house is confusing. One bedroom can only be accessed through a bathroom and it is generally tighter in the house than the pictures depict. There is a lot of furniture in a small space. We had to do a lot of shuffling to get around.The ugly: Our stay would have been 5 stars had they not texted us about our dog, saying they had seen her on camera. I had accidentally booked without paying the pet fee and I was happy to pay that cost. However, it made it clear that we were being spied on while staying in the house and I was uncomfortable being there the rest of the stay. They disclose they have ring cameras outside but I never would have imagined they would be reviewing the footage while we were there. We almost didn't stay the final night because of this. Don't spy on your guests!

Perfect stay!

Just as described- we brought our three boys for a vacation, so it was cozy! The house is clean and cute with a fun, rustic feel. I have never stayed in a home that was so well stocked! The downtown was great too- with some fun summer activities that were walkable. The location was perfect for our travels and adventures in every direction from Vail to Estes park. Andrea was an excellent hostess- and quick to respond with any questions we had. Thank you for helping to make our family vacation perfect!

Getaway to see our son

My son is out in Boulder for school. Little vacation for family time. This house was perfect location. The house was amazingly clean and set up for a perfect weekend getaway. The backyard is perfect for morning and evening family meals. Thank you for such a special getaway!!

Home Away From Home

Our week stay in this charming, cozy cottage was everything we hoped it would be!!This home was equipped with everything we needed. The decor is classy and cute with a lot of fun spaces to hang out. Our dog loved the freedom of the fenced yard and the quiet street for morning walks. Restaurants, shopping and weekend Farmers Market all in walking distance. Thank you to the owners for offering such an awesome place to stay. We will definitely return!!We used to live in Louisville years ago and were anxious to return.

Cute cottage. Several places to hang out. Enjoyed the grill, firepit, outdoor lights, patio and the front porch with hanging swing too. Hosts gets an A for timely communication and attentiveness. Will definitely stay again.

Perfect weekend getaway

I absolutely loved this bungalow and its perfect location to downtown Louisville. My son was graduating from CU-Boulder but I didn’t want to deal with the crowds in town. Instead, this was the perfect home base. The home was adorably decorated and well-appointed. We didn’t take as much advantage of the backyard as we should have but it’s the perfect place to entertain!

Everything about the property was nice, clean, communication with the property owners was great. The only thing I would say in the opposite direction is the sheets could use an upgrade. Other than that we had a great stay and we would rebook.

Roomy indoor and outdoor space

The house is cute and homey and near an access that allows you to walk to Main Street Louisville. The drive is a bit further. The house living area is very roomy and offers numerous seating options so that many family members were able to gather to watch an important sports event. The back yard is beautiful and a great place to gather and enjoy your dogs freedom. In all it was a great stay!

Andrea’s place has absolutely everything you could need and is located just a few blocks away from the downtown Louisville center. It was so homey and comfortable! She was also very attentive and helpful with any questions I had as well.

Love this place!

Second time staying here. My Mom lives really close by, but has a small place. This has been a perfect way to keep everyone happy and fits all our needs. Planning to book again for the summer.

Homebase for Boulderthon

My group of three stayed at this house as a home base during our participation in the Boulderthon half marathon. The house was fantastic. It was so nice to be outside of the busyness of Boulder, but within easy travel distance. The house was so conveniently located within walking distance of good restaurants and breweries. The house itself is adorable. Very well designed and perfect for our needs. Totally comfortable to come back to at the end of the day. And the hosts were helpful annd easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again.

What a great place!! This was the perfect location for us!! Walking distance to the quaintest town of Louisville!Easily accessible to all things Boulder!! The house was amazing!! It had everything and more !! And the decor was so charming and whimsical . We loved the backyard space!! The host was available and so very helpful!! We would return in an instance!! It was beyond our expectations!!

First Rate in Louisville, CO

The house is beyond what we had imagined. Great floorplan, plenty of room, everything included. We had great communication with the owners and didn't encounter any problems for the long weekend. The location to historic downtown Louisville was perfect for walking and exploring; lots of dining and shopping choices.
