Gowdas Cottage

A fully furnished cottage located right in the center of Cavendish. This beautiful cottage is nestled between gardens, and trees with all the amenities you would need for a perfect vacation.

A few minutes walk or drive to the world famous Cavendish beach, board walks, biking trails, grocery stores, restaurants, Shining waters, Sandspit, Avonlea village, Anne of Green Gables, golf courses and Just 30 minutes drive to Charlottetown.

The space
This cottage is in a quiet, green spacious lot with a private parking space. It has two bedrooms, a large kitchen and a dining space, bright living room, bathroom and a patio.

To make your stay comfortable and feel like a home away from home we have everything that your family would need for a perfect vacation. This includes a coffee maker, food processor, toaster, rice cooker, cooking pots and pans, kitchen appliances. We also have Wi-Fi, washer and dryer to make it easier for you to stay longer and work from home. Within five minutes drive you can find restaurants, convenient/grocery stores and dollar store.

We had a wonderful time in PEI. The cottage was very well located with tons of activities to do around. The house was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The beds and sofas were also very comfortable. Couldn't recommend more.

P.E.I. paradise

We came to stay at P.E.I. and wanted to spend some time in Cavendish. The adorable cottage is in a great location close to the beach and amenities. Check in was seamless and the cottage was extremely clean and fully stocked with plenty of fresh linens, a full kitchen with any appliance you may need. When we asked about beach chairs the host delivered them within an hour. Excellent service and highly recommend.

Can't beat the location

Cozy little cottage in the heart of Cavendish. What more could you ask for? Host was great. Only thing missing was a BBQ.

Charming Cottage

Charming home. Very relaxing vibe. The host answered all our questions quickly. Very clean, private and secure. Great location location, though, nothing is walkable, but only a short drive to everything. Would certainly stay again.

Clean and centrally located property

We had a wonderful stay on the island. The cabin is located in a very friendly neighborhood, and felt like home. I must say that the bed was very comfortable and the bedding was soft and warm. That said the grass was very tall and over-all the yard looks unkept. This did not however impact our stay. I would recommend this property and would stay there again.

Cozy comfort

We enjoyed our time here. It’s very cozy and in a very quiet area. It had everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect to drive all over the island. Loved PEI!

Perfect getaway

We loved the cleanliness and coziness of the property The hosts were very quick to respond to our questions about groceries and restaurants. We loved that we were close to activities but the area is very quiet. The home has everything we needed, a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and lots of space to hang out and cook at home. Would definitely recommend! Thanks for letting us stay:) PEI was a dream!

5 day family vacation in PEI

This small cottage of two bedrooms each with one full bed, there’s a roomy bathroom with a shower stall, it’s Cozy , beautifully decorated, very clean. located in north central town of Cavendish , property owner Nirmala is easy to reach and communicate. We stayed all 5 nights, our home away from home.

Best Cottage in PEI

My sister and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay at Gowdas Cottage. The cottage was clean and spacious and the location was perfect. We were so close to everything. It was so quiet and everyone in the area was friendly! We were so fortunate to get to meet our hosts and tell them in person how much we loved their cottage and that we certainly hope to return next year. Our favourite place to stay in PEI by far. ❤️

Awesome Cottage Vacation

We totally enjoyed our stay at the cottage . Nirmala was a fantastic host who even left out a basket of age appropriate books and toys for our 11 month baby. The cottage was clean, fully stocked with necessities and in a great quiet location, yet close to everything in Cavendish. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay.

Had a wonderful time at the Gowdas cottage. It’s a beautiful, private, comfortable and well equipped cottage near all Cavendish activities. The hosts were quickly available to answer any questions and we appreciated their thoughtfulness in supplying some essential items in the refrigerator until we could get to the grocery store. We would certainly book again on a return visit to P.E.I.
