¡Ubicación, ubicación, ubicación! Este muy bien mantenido, encantador condominio de una habitación tiene una excelente vista del océano a menos de 100 pies de distancia. Se encuentra en el tercer piso del Príncipe Kuhio y no hay ascensor en el complejo. También poseemos el # 111 en la planta baja si las escaleras son un problema para usted. La unidad es tranquila y recibe una maravillosa brisa del mar. Deja que el océano y las palmeras te adormezcan por la noche. Esta unidad ha sido recientemente redecorada con nuevos muebles de sala de estar, nueva cama king size y nuevas obras de arte, recién pintadas. Tiene encantadoras encimeras de granito nuevas de cocina y nuevos revestimientos de ventanas. Los mostradores del baño también son de granito e incluso la gran ducha tiene vista al mar. Hay un nuevo televisor de pantalla plana en el dormitorio y la sala de estar. We had a fantastic week at this awesome Prince Kuhio condo. Florence has made the place super cozy with everything you could possibly need. The location is perfect—so close to all the fun stuff on the south shore. There's an amazing snorkeling spot right across the street too. Florence really goes the extra mile with her tips and suggestions. We slept like babies with the sound of the waves and the palm trees swaying. I’m not sure if it was just the season, but every morning at dawn, massive flocks of parrots would show up in the palm trees and hang out for about 20 minutes before flying off together. They came back again in the evening, and it was such a cool sight to see every day.We had a blast and would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect South Shore Location!

Great little condo that is clean and located exactly where you'd want to be while visiting the south side of Kauai. Would and will stay here again. The host was fantastic!

Fall getaway

We loved your unit and the location of this condo. Lost to do within a short distance and loved the views. Only downfall was the bed hurt my back. Other than that, we would definitely return to this condo in the future for our 4th stay. Everything was as pictured and had everything we needed.

Great little getaway!

Clean condo. Very comfortable bed and pillows (not always the case with rentals). Not fancy, just what we needed for a week away. Close to beaches, great restaurants. Great views of water. The road is busy but not a deal breaker. Owner was very prompt in answering questions. Would stay here again. Not having an elevator for bringing in luggage was not an issue for us, but could see this being difficult for older people. Overall, great place to stay!!!

Amazing Experience!!!

Florence's condo was perfect for our Kauai vacation; it was exactly as described in the listing: fabulous location right across the street from the ocean, clean & organized with a fully functional kitchen, super comfy bed, nice beach chairs & towels, a small safe, easy check-in & check out process, plenty of parking and many excellent activities and dining recommendations made by the host (Florence) in a super detailed four page email that she sent to me before we arrived. We had an amazing week in beautiful Kauai and loved everything about Florence's condo plus as she mentions in the listing, it's a great value! We highly recommend staying at Florence's condo while visiting Kauai and can hardly wait to return when we get the chance!

We've always liked Kauai, but this time we picked a crowded location and wished we had picked better. Also, due to a misunderstanding, the room was more like a studio and we needed a separate bedroom. The hosts were very nice people, however.

Everything was great. Beautiful location and condo was super clean and nice. Excellent host. To be noted, unit has no AC. This was not an issue the last time we came and visited in December; however, in September, it would have been great. It got a little toasty and uncomfortable at times. Oversight on my end... didn't even cross my mind! Otherwise, it was perfect!

Peaceful, pretty retreat close to everything

What a perfect spot on the island! The third floor location close to the water side was ideal for views both east and west, as her photos show, as well as being out of the hub of condo activity, though neighbors were friendly. You are steps away from good snorkeling and not much farther to a sandier swimming beach. The street is pretty quiet. We loved that it is a long established resort, with mature tropical landscaping to let you enjoy your own botanical garden. The pool is clean and appealing, surrounded by plants as well. We were able to enjoy it by ourselves a couple of times, and it was pretty calm over our Thanksgiving weekend. The condo itself was just right, updated several years ago, with the bedroom in the middle for quiet (and comfortable bed, as others have mentioned), and ventilation for breezes to pass through. There is a standing fan for still days. Florence has thought of all the amenities one should need and left a notebook full of helpful details and ideas for activities. Kuaui is a beautiful island to explore, but after a few days this was our favorite landing place to relax!

Simply amazing

Read Florence’s description, it is accurate to a ‘T’ and capture everything included in this amazing rental. The owners give a lot of instructions about keeping the place in order, but generously share their personal amenities and have thought of everything right down to a salad spinner, spices for cooking, and a clothes drying rack. The bed is soooo comfy, and the views out both front and back are stupendous. The complex office has a stocked library of beach reads. We caught many a BeachHouse sunset. An earlier guest commented on laundry: we never found the room to be too busy to use. Could not recommend more highly; definitely a gem.

Tropical oasis

We loved this condo! Fantastic views, good location, gorgeous grounds and a nice size pool with nothing to look at but beautiful foliage! Waterfall, flowering trees, and crystal clean pool water with what looks like a new tiled pool bottom! It was just perfect, felt like paradise for days we didn’t want to go to the beach. The condo itself was so incredibly breezy, we didn’t miss not having an air conditioner. There were 2 portable fans and one ceiling fan that we never even turned on! Bed was super comfortable and the spotless kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and spices. We just loved this property and everything about it! When we come back, we will def be booking with Florence! Florence was a wonderful host and answered all our questions and sent us a lengthy letter with wonderful suggestions on where to eat and shop! Top notch people! 5+ stars!

Great location - perfect for two

My wife and I booked this condo about 8 months ago. Never been to Kauai or Hawaii. We had heard Poipu Beach was a good place if we wanted to swim. As we continued through the listings, we kept coming back to this one and went for it - had everything we needed. So when we pulled up to begin our rental, we learned it had even more! Ocean view, incredible location - easy walking to the beach, shopping, food/drinks. We also found there were beach towels, a cooler, beach chairs for us to use and hiking sticks. We went out to the canyon yo hike and also to queens bath to hike and would have had a heck of a time trying to navigate without those! The building was very quiet, other residents were nice. It was also incredibly nice to have a full kitchen. The owner provided us with a ton of recommendations and mentioned there was a Costco where we were able to go to for $4/gallon gas and some groceries - this Costco has a sushi department! We truly enjoyed our stay on Kauai and this unit was a big catalyst of our enjoyment, even though there were days where we left at 8 AM and did not return until 9 PM. It rained a TON while we were there, but despite the rain, we never ran out of things to do and explore.

Romantically Exquisite

We arrived December 1st, 2014 for a week's stay at Prince Kuhio. It was our first time to Kauai as well as our first time renting a condo. Upon arrival, our jaws were agape at the beauty surrounding the establishment with exquisite grounds teaming with tropical plants, trees and life. Upon entering the unit, the decor immediately let us know we were in a tropical paradise. The full kitchen is perfect for two with all the amenities, including a nice-sized fridge, 4-burner stove and complete oven, and beautiful granite countertops with a stainless steel sink. There's a large closet and dresser to allow you to unpack all your clothes and plenty of room in the bathroom for your various sundries. The large, tiled shower is big enough for two complete with jalousie windows for fresh air and a peak to the ocean outside. The California King sized bed is extremely comfortable with a memory foam mattress located beneath a heavenly ceiling fan. Open the jalousie windows slightly on the front of the condo and open the sliding glass door off the sitting area and the trade winds swirled by the fan above will keep you cool and in dreamland all night long. Past the bedroom, through a white, slatted door, is the sitting room, or lanai. Complete with tropically decorated cushions, the two whicker chairs and whicker couch make a nice spot for conversation while overlooking the manicured grounds adjacent Prince Kuhio and Hoai Bay. Off the lanai is a narrow balcony to get a wider view of the beautiful surroundings and sip your morning Kauai Coffee while watching the roosters scratch for food below. Yes, Kauai has been overrun by roosters. So be prepared for their crowing to bring you from your slumber each morning of your stay. :) The grounds also include a gorgeous koi pond; adequate laundry facility and beautiful swimming pool (warning, it's not heated so be prepared!). Rachael and I were married on the 4th day of our stay and enjoyed every minute of it. The unit provided a lovely sanctuary to have private time and refuel for another day of snorkeling; lying on the beach; or exploring the beauty throughout Kauai. We hope to return someday to celebrate our anniversary. Mahalo!

Good location but you need a car to tour the island.

Great condo on third floor. Beautiful views to the sunrise and ocean. Property managers very quick with responses and very nice people.

This is a great location, very comfortable. Nice kitchen and lanais which allowed us to truly relax, some eating here, not always on the go. The sunsets right across the street were stunning. We would rent this place again!

Honeymoon in Kauai

Perfect condo for the two of us. Closeness to food, shopping, and the beach. We love to scuba dive and we were steps away from our dive site here. If I could give one negative at all, it’s right on the road so in the morning you will here traffic from the road. However it wouldn’t keep me from staying here again. Very impressed overall.

A perfect flat in paradise

Imagine falling asleep and waking up to the sound of waves, showering, and being able to see the oceanfront. Florence's place is all this and much more. Her place is clean and neatly organized, the location is perfect and the apartment complex is very well kept and quiet . You have everything you need just bring your snorkel and bathing suit. It's impossible not to relax! I definitely recommend staying here for your honeymoon/vacation.

My husband and I live on Hood Canal near Poulsbo, WA. We are retired and have had the pleasure of owing our little piece of paradise in Kauai since 2001. My husband was a builder and I was Director of Rehab Services at a major medical center. We have used our skills in remodeling and managing to keep our unit in excellent condition to provide you with a wonderful holiday experience at a great value. We enjoy working outside, boating and of course fresh Dungeness crabbing, golf, our dog, traveling and friends. We love the hiking that Kauai has to offer and especially enjoy volunteering at the Botanical gardens just up the road. Kauai is very special to us.

We love the quiet island of Kauai and it's laid back style, beautiful beaches, and many lovely gardens. We have made many good friends there with whom we enjoy spending time. Getting away from the cold, damp winters and enjoying the beauty of Poipu' sunshine is something that we look forward to year after year. Hiking there is the best and our Friday night Bocci Ball event down on the beach can't be beat!

It is ideally located on the sunny south shore for easy access to all the isalnd has to offer. Our condo is beautifully decorated and has a wonderful view of the ocean just 100 yds away. We love to play golf on the affordable course of Kukiolono and Bocci ball with friends. Snorkeling with the fish, whale watching, and enjoying the Monk Seals bring lots of enjoyment. We volunteer at the Botanical Gardens just up the road to learn about the island as well as giving back to an area that gives so much to us.
