Sister Bay fall fest did not disappoint and neither did this property. It was the perfect set up for 5 friends to reconnect and relax. We enjoyed cooking and relaxing in the spacious kitchen. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

House is large enough to accommodate bigger groups but needs some attention. There were cobwebs in most of the corners and along the ceiling in the basement rooms along with a couple spiders. There were bees and ants in the kitchen upon checking in. The heat didn't seem to work properly. Set it for 69 degrees on auto heat and it never registered above 64 degrees on the thermostat. Garage opener needs new battery which is inconvenient for parking in the garage which homeowner indicated we needed to do (only 2 cars allowed outside?). Arcade game in basement not functioning. Good location and spacious but needs some care.

The property had the right number of bedrooms we needed and was close to our event. But on arrival we could not get the front door electronic lock to unlock the door. Tried 10 times no luck. Luckily the garage code worked and also the lock box allowed us to get keys. We contacted the host who said he would check asap but never saw and lock code never worked.Pilot was out on fireplace and while there were instructions to relight. I don’t think we should have to do this. I would think the host would take care to make sure it is working before we arrived. Then it got very cool at night and we tried to increase the thermostats but we never got the temperature above 65. They ask that a load of linens/ towels be started before checking out. But only a small amount of laundry detergent was left. Again I would have thought cleaners or host would have detergent if doing a laundry load is required. Lamps in BR and living room needed to be plugged in. Why not before we arrived? Or if not it wasn’t in the one page instructions Towels in master bedroom closet seemed damp when taken to put in bathUsed water bottle found in bunk room Much of instructions- sheet and 3-ring was about tour boat business of host and art on walls that is for sale. Odd. Hot water took a long time to get to bathroom sinks and showers. Front railing and posts have so much paint peeling it makes address hard to see.

Family Weekend

Fantastic home with plenty of room for our family of 8 adults to gather and also have our own space. The house is much roomier than it appeared in the listing.

Great Door Country Stay

Our group had a great time at this property. There was plenty of room to spread out and sleeping options. It’s just off the highway and super close to Sister Bay. Only bummer was the video arcade wasn’t working. Cleanliness was good, but could use a little deeper cleaning like cobwebs in basement and rugs were matted down like they weren’t washed recently. We will definitely stay again.

Wonderful weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's a roomy home with many comfortable bedrooms, great kitchen and fun pops of bright art. It was the perfect place for our family to meet and hang out together! Would highly recommend!

Thanksgiving week

Nice house with great space, fit 10 adults very comfortably. Young adults only complaint was that the video game in the downstairs didn’t work. My only negative thing would be the bit of cleanliness of the house. I just feel for the cleaning fee I was charged the house should have been spot on. Lots of spiderwebs in corners and on lights. Light globes very dusty. Top of stove wiped down but looked like with a dirty cloth as well with the mirrors and windows, all had a lot of smearing. Bathroom rugs very matted down as if they don’t get washed. House has great amount of bath towels but could use a few more hand towels. Dish clothes and a dust pan would have been great as well. It was the perfect sized house for the family to all come together for the holiday.

Size of house fit our group well

The house worked well for our group of 8. There were a few things that could have been kept up on. Toilet in downstairs bathroom loose and wobbles under you. Shower head looked like it was falling off in downstairs bathroom. All 3 bathroom vents caked with dust (we cleaned them). Keurig still didn’t work after another guest previously stated broken. Coffee maker itself was pretty gross looking and has seen better days. Fireplace inoperative. Certain lights throughout house don’t work (living room and master). Fridge/freezer downstairs not keeping things as cold/ frozen as it should. Some general better housekeeping as master shower was not cleaned well and carpets were dirty.

Sister Bay

The property was amazing and met all of our needs. The only thing that was wrong. Was the Keurig was not working. We would highly recommend this place and would love to stay there again.

Family Fun

This was our first gathering together away from home for all 10 of us ... Sister Bay was a fantastic location with lots of fun activities very close by. Our stay at the Teal Door fit us very well. Clean with lots of room and great lawn space for outdoor activities!! We'd stay again for sure!!

Great Door County Experience

Had a great time in Door County. This house had an excellent location for getting out and seeing the places we wanted most to see. House was clean and roomy for all 9 of us. Quiet neighborhood. Only minor issue was communication with property manager. The battery in the front door electronic lock was dead and door would not unlock or open. We managed to gain access thru the garage. Contacted the manager by text but he did not respond to my text. Also discovered that 2 TV remotes had dead batteries. We bought replacement batteries to give ourselves access thru the front door. Also tried contacted the maintentance phone number but a recording said that number is no longer in service.

Perfect for our family get together.

Kitchen was big enough for several cooks at once and it was good to have both an upstairs and downstairs gathering place. The kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of towels and household linen. We were disappointed that the Arcade machine would not work. This house is close to shops and activities in Sister Bay and there are many interesting things to see and do in Door County.

Great Sister Bay Spot

Very nice property in a beautiful neighborhood and a short walk to downtown Sister Bay. This home is great for a large family getaway. Look forward to coming back in the future.

Sister Bay

The house is beautiful and very accommodating for the 9 of us that stayed. Close to all the towns and just a few blocks away from the grocery store. Only downs side was water heater is not large enough for 9 people to get ready but that did not stop us from very much enjoying our stay If you have a large group you will have to rotate time of day to shower/bathe. Still will give 5 stars.

Door county house review

The house itself was not bad but there were things that were dissappointing. There was no or very little soap in the bathrooms. Our toilet paper roll was off the wall, not a big thing but it did not present the property well. There were cobb webs in the lower level. They advertised the hot tub but it was not filled, we may not have used it anyway. There was a game in the lower level that they showed on the web sight but if it did work or there were no instructions. The location was great and the street it was on was pretty quiet. As I said the house itself was pretty nice.

Spacious Home

We enjoyed a Door County family vacation at the Teal Door. There were plenty of bedrooms for 5 siblings and spouses. The open floor plan and large kitchen island made cooking and conversation easy and fun. We wished there was TV service so we could watch the NFL game together, but we headed outdoors instead. The Teal Door worked well for us!
