PARADA ------- ESTO sentir como en casa !!! Recientemente decorado y amueblado condominio con vista al balcón de frente al lago. maravillosa vista de la parte frontal de la piscina, cabaña, bañera de hidromasaje, el paisajismo y el lago. Condominio está recién decoradas y con todos los muebles nuevos, / secadora, teléfono, televisión de pantalla plana lavadora y un ordenador portátil. El paisaje es maravilloso y que está muy cerca de tiendas, restaurantes, excursiones, etc.

Wonderful and Safe

Joe is the best host ever! My daughter was on a hospital rotation in N.O. for a month, and I was worried about a safe place to stay. Joe met us at check-in, gave us a tour of the property, and showed us the gated entry/exit, secure access to elevators/stairs, and the best place to catch the sunset. He also checked in periodically to make sure we had everything we needed. It's a very safe place within a short walking distance of restaurants, biking/jogging trails, and the lake and a short drive to N.O.'s attractions. We loved the condo, the pool area/vegetation, and our time here! Next time we're back in the area, we will definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful, welcoming, peaceful.... felt like a home away from home. Thank you Joe!

First things first... Joe was amazing. He was so helpful and informative. The perfect host. His place was so well kept and well stocked that we didn’t need anything! Although if we did, he made it very clear that he was a text or phone call away. This gorgeous condo is just a quick 15 minute uber to The French Quarter or any of the popular surroundings. Which we loved because we wanted a peaceful escape should we choose. Best of all, it has at least 6 amazing restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner within a ten minute walk!!! Amazing experience, will definitely be hitting Joe up when we come back next!

Beautiful condo

The condo was extremely nice and very tastefully decorated. It is in a great location. Close to many restaurants, the lake and a quick ride to all the action downtown. Joe was awesome to deal with and very accommodating to our needs. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and would stay there again.

Great gated location.

Great gated location with covered parking. Easy access to downtown, Lake and most attractions. Bring your bikes and ride the trails near by. Owner is very helpful with everything.

Great New Orleans Getaway Location

This Bucktown condo is minutes from many famous local eateries. On the lakefront you can take advantage of the bike path for walks and run and enjoy food at traditional favorite restaurants like R&O's and Mr. Eds. Then New Orleans lakefront and City park are within striking distance. Other New Orleans locations are 10 minutes by vehicle. The complex is very secure with a great pool deck. The condo is very inviting and has all the necessary amenities. My three week stay was comfortable. The area is quiet and a perfect respite between other more adventurous activity. Pet friendly and lots of walking locations for humans and K-9's. I strongly recommend this for any person or couple for a stay in the New Orleans area.

Lake Getaway Close to it All

I'm a native New Orleanian who moved away years ago. I wanted to have a vacation back home with my husband and kids, and this was the perfect place for it. For me, the best thing about the condo was the location. It's right on the lake (that being Lake Pontchartrain), in Bucktown, a good hometown neighborhood just over the Orleans parish line (meaning right on the edge of the city limits). There are some really good local seafood restaurants and markets in the neighborhood (R&O's, Deanie's), and within a 5-10 minute drive of the condo (Landry's, The Blue Crab). There are also walking and bike paths right across the street, as well as Lakeshore Drive and the marina just a few minutes away- perfect for a sunset drive, walk or sail on the lake. The condo itself has lovely garden landscaping with palm trees and native plants, as well as a pool, so you can relax and beat the New Orleans summer heat. There is also a grill and a cabana house for guests' use. You feel like you can really get away from it all and be in a relaxing setting, but you're also close to it all: First off, there are all the amenities you could wish for in the neighborhood: grocery stores, drug stores, restaurants, etc. Secondly, you're just off Pontchartrain Blvd/ West End Blvd which takes you to I-10 and to most major sites and parade routes in 15-20 minutes. So you have the best of both worlds: a retreat on the lake and a convenient location. The condo has a gated covered parking area and is in a safe neighborhood. It's clean, comfortable and very tastefully decorated. The balcony has a lovely view of the pool and landscaping and a bit of the lake. The owner went to great lengths to make sure we had everything we needed to feel at home. He greeted us personally and helped us get settled in. That was real hospitality! We are a family of four, and our two children- elementary school age- slept comfortably on the large sofas and chaise lounge in the living room. We enjoyed our time here so much, and we'll definitely make this our home away from home whenever we're back 'home' in New Orleans!

Fantastic Condo in a Beautiful Location

The condo was extremely comfortable, sparkling clean, and beautifully decorated. I appreciated the many extras, such as the night lights, and the drink blender for healthy drinks —things I have in my own home. As I relaxed on the lovely outdoor furniture on the balcony, I enjoyed the view of the exquisitely landscaped courtyard filled with blooming flowers, a charming little water fall, and Lake Ponchartrain. Lake Ponchartain has a walking, running, and biking path that runs along the front of the condo building for us exercise lovers. The condo is located minutes from the best of dining, shopping, and all that New Orleans has to offer. Joseph, the owner, was a sheer delight. He was professional, straight forward, and honest. I will certainly recommend this condo to my family and friends. I look forward to many return visits.

Lovely Condo in Quiet Setting

My daughter and I stayed in Joe's condo for six nights and seven days. He was very responsive to my questions prior to my arrival, so much so that when he learned my daughter and I were allergic to feathers he purchased two new foam pillows for our use. Joe met me at the condo and showed me how to work the gate, the appliances and TVs. The condo is a short 20 minute drive to downtown New Orleans, via Interstate 10. The condo is located in a very secure setting with gated access, free parking in a secure garage, views of Lake Pontchartrain from the club house, and a pool and hot tub, both of which we were unable to enjoy because we spent most of our time downtown. This condo is perfect for three people and has all the amenities one needs. Although there is only one queen size bed, the chaise lounge in the living room serves as a comfortable bed alternative. My daughter said it was very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped and I served a roast beef dinner for four one of the nights we stayed in. Although there is no kitchen table, per se, there is enough other seating, as well as tray tables to utilize to make for a comfortable seating and eating arrangement. Joe's recommendation of Muriel's restaurant was a big hit. I wish I was able to stay longer as my son said the nearby restaurants to the condo are quite good. As my son lives in New Orleans I plan to return and will definitely stay in Joe's condo again. My experience was memorable and relaxing due in no small measure to Joe's beautiful condo and hospitality.

A great NOLA condo

We visit NOLA often and value accomadtions with space, comfort, and location convenience. Joe's place was just we wanted for our long weekend visit with family. We enjoyed the outdoor accomadtions and the comfortable apartment. We would prefer though a more spacious dining area as we like to cook in (yes even in New Orleans) Joe is a delightful host and a nice person to talk with.

Perfect location - felt like home.

We spent 4 nights and wished we'd had more time. This apartment was in the perfect location for our stay. Close to everything we needed. Quiet yet easy driving to the Quarter. Great restaurants nearby, friendly neighbors. We'd come back!

Voodoo Festival/Saints Game 2015

My wife and I have stayed in NOLA, many times. Mostly in the The French Quarter. We chose this location because one of my best friends lives just down the street, in Lake Vista. And what a great place, Joe has! We loved it! Safe, quiet, spacious, clean, and just a block away, on Lake Ave, is the famous Deanie's, along with a bunch of other restaurants. When we arrived, he met us at the condo, and he was very warm, and welcoming. He gave us the grand tour, including the fantastic view of Lake Pontchartrain . He also was very accommodating, and made himself available, just in case anything came up, that we might need. Unfortunately, we did not get to use the pool, and common area, because it rained all weekend. But the weather didn't spoil our fun at Voodoo, and the crazy Saints/Giants game in the dome. The condo, was a great place to come home to, after a day at Voodoo, and after the football game. I even did a load of laundry! Love, love, love this place, and my wife and I will be returning, and bringing our kids, and staying here, on our next trip. This is a great alternative location, if you want to be away from the craziness of the quarter, but it is still only a 15 minute car ride, if you want to go down to the Quarter, and grab a drink at Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop and Bar. If I could put 6 stars on this review, I would. Great place, with a great owner! Thanks, Joe!

Relaxing Getaway!

This was our first visit to NOLA. We stayed at Joe's beautiful condo! It was absolutely wonderful in every aspect. We enjoyed all the comforts of home and loved this very safe and secure part of NO. There is a lovely pool & common area and also a beautiful view of Lake Ponchatrain from a lookout above. This was a very serene place to stay. You can cross the street and take a lovely walk by the lake and watch the beautiful sunsets at night. The condo is luxuriously furnished with quality bedding & plenty of bath towels, equipped with modern appliances as well as a washer & dryer right inside the unit. We enjoyed our coffee on the patio in the morning (Joe had coffee and sugar etc there for our enjoyment) at night we relaxed on the patio with a glass of wine. Our car was secure in the gated underground parking. This lakefront area is very convenient to many great restaurants, wonderful shopping and more. Joseph is a wonderful host, a very kind and accommodating man! We had an issue not knowing how to use the shower on our first day, Joe immediately sent over a plumber to resolve our issues. There was no problem at all, just us not knowing how to use it, LOL. Joe is such a generous person, he was a wealth of knowledge on where to eat, shop etc ... He also went above and beyond and gave us his season tickets to watch the NO Pelicans NBA pre-season game, it was awesome! We had a great time here and will definitely come back!!! I highly recommend this gorgeous condo! Big Thanks from Canada!

NOLA WEDDING

Perfect location, if you want to be outside the hustle & craziness of being downtown/FR Qtr.area. Right on the levee of Lake Ponchatrain, walking on levee is safe, & plenty of Eataries within walking distance, most "old neighborhood" places with GREAT FOOD & drink!! Condo is just as described, very nice, with everything you need. Private inside pkg.in safe garage was great to have. Perfect for 2-3 people to be comfortable.

Annniversary Weekend

Comfy condo with all the touches of home. Peaceful complex with a lovely pool & common area. Love the pilothouse lookout area. Beautifully furnished with quality bedding & plenty of bath towels.Have your coffee on the patio and relax. Love the secure gated underground parking. The lakefront area is very convenient to restaurants, shopping, & City Park. Joseph is a wonderful host and very accomadating. My husband and I would definitely stay again.

Great, secure condo for our anniversary

My wife describes this condo as the best of both worlds. It's wonderfully private but close enough to see the sites of NOLA including several shopping malls. The security is a PLUS with a secure gate & separate code to get into the lobby. There are some great places to eat close by- Deanie's is our favorite spot for seafood. If you are into exercise, there is a bike trail/walking track across the street around the lake. The covered, secure parking is great since your car isn't insufferably hot when you want to go out. We would definitely stay here again. Joe is accommodating in helping you. You'll be glad you chose his condo. We were here to celebrate our 40th anniversary. It was special.

Loved it

I'm a long time visitor to New Orleans and have stayed at many different places. Joe's property was wonderful. Clean and beautifully furnished, Joe's is a great place to stay at a very reasonable cost. I highly recommend this property.

Lake Pontchartrain Condo

This is the place to stay if you are visiting New Orleans! The condo is in great condition, with a nice view of the Lake, pool and hot tub from the balcony. Quiet and relaxing, it is a nice change to the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter. It is only a short drive to all the tourist areas and you have several restaurants within walking distance if you want to eat near the condo. It was great being able to jog by the lake and soak in the beauty the area has to offer. Joe is also so accommodating and helpful. You will thoroughly enjoy your stay! I will definitely stay here again when I come back to visit.

Secure,quiet location

Joe's condo was the perfect place for me to stay while visiting family. It is a safe, secure and convenient location. My only comment would be nice if it had high speed wi fi internet access. And the kitchen utensils and pots and plates could use updating. Joe was very helpful during my check in. Thank you.

Welcoming and Relaxing Condo

I just recently graduated college and got relocated to begin working in New Orleans and needed a place to call "home" for a few weeks before I could move into my own apartment. Getting in contact with Joe, and renting at this condo has been a dream come true. It has everything you could want from a great living room set with an awesome TV and cable, to all the amenities you could need in the kitchen, a spacious and welcoming bathroom, and a big and comfy bed in the bedroom. There is secured underground parking, and you are in a quiet and safe neighborhood. You are minutes away from some great shopping, grocery stores, and the CBD. Joe was fantastic to work with and made sure my stay was the best it could be. Overall, it was a relaxing and quiet oasis along Lake Ponchatrain and I would absolutely stay here again if I ever need to in the future.

Super Sweet Condo

This condo is very clean, comfortable and close to downtown and the airport. Joe was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. If we're ever back in New Orleans this is the place we would want to stay!

Beautiful balcony with a view of the landscape, pool, and Lake Pontchartrain. Peaceful and quiet with a short walking distance to several seafood restaurants. Covered reserved off street parking and a washer/dryer make this a even more comfortable stay.
