New Orleans Area

The location was only 15 minutes from the French Quarter. Grocery store just blocks away. The property manager/owner was there to answer any questions or address any issues.

A pleasure

Truly felt like a home away from home. Very quiet area. The apartment was extremely clean. Washer & dryer was a plus! Everything we wanted to do was 15-20 mins away. Definitely will be staying again soon!

What a wonderful retreat!

We were so grateful for such a comfortable and easy place to stay. We were in town for a funeral which was hard, but having this space with everything we needed made it all so much easier. From check in until the time we left, things were easy and comfortable. We would most definitely stay again.

Didn't Think it Could get Better--But it Did!

This is my third time staying at this wonderful venue, a serene and peaceful oasis far from the 24/7 French Quarter. On this occasion, we stayed in a different apartment. The beautiful, comfortable atmosphere was the same, ditto the quality amenities--but this time we also had the great good fortune to have use of a washer and dryer, complete with all needed amenities. When the heat and humidity peaks, that is one terrific plus that you can't find in many other venues. Imagine coming home with CLEAN clothes for a change, or being able to actually reuse the clothes that were previously sticking to you like a second skin! On top of this, Brian and his lovely family live right there on the premises, so in the unlikely event that any problems or additional needs arise, they are right there to take care of things. No absentee landlord here! Their commitment to their guests is obvious from beginning to end. Returning here feels more like returning to visit old friends than anything else. That's something that we don't find in most hotel or other guest venues. Added to this, you are a stone's throw away from the gorgeous lakefront area, where you can enjoy a lovely meal on the water and then take a wonderful stroll right along the endless blue lake. If you go soon, you'll even get to see the latest broods of adorable baby ducks that make the lakefront their home. Enjoy, and if you are lucky enough to get one of the units with a washer/dryer, take 50% less clothing with you and use the extra space for carting home your Big Easy souvenirs!

The property was very neat and clean ~ nothing fancy, but perfect in every way for what we needed. So nice to have a washer and dryer! Great safe location. Brian, the property owner was very helpful and so nice. About 10 to 15 minutes to downtown and French Quarter. We used our rental car for grocery and other shopping, but took Uber to several places ie French Quarter, night time restaurants and nightclubs. Easier than dealing with parking etc. We would highly recommend "Lakefront Comfort". Very comfortable bed too and sweet yard to hang out in.

Well taken care of Property

I would absolutely stay here again. The property owner was, super responsive. The unit was fully stocked, and comfortable. This location was 15 minutes away from all of the things we wanted to do or see. In unit laundry was a great perk. The only issue we had, was the people in the unit upstairs were loud and stomped around all night

Quite and Cozy

Great location - very nice property!

I Loved the big TV in the den and the comfortable queen bed! The off street free parking was a big plus! In the 1980's, I used to live on Lake Ave., and it is still a safe, middle class neighborhood and I enjoyed being back in the area plus the Winn-Dixie right down the street. The shower had good water pressure and lots of hot water! Thanks for taking care of all the details! You'll see me again when I come back to New Orleans for long time friends and delicious food! Thanks for a great weekend!

Great Stay!

The location was in a good area. It was very quiet at all times which made it an extremely comfortable stay. The Quarter was only about 15 minutes away which made it easy to get to while at the same time providing the option of staying in for a quiet night if we chose to do so. Parking was excellent which was such a relief seeing that parking anywhere else by the Quarter was a nightmare. Take uber or lyft! Overall, great place to stay and great city to visit!

Clean, safe, fully equipped, and close to everything!

We stayed in one of Brian's apartments while attending a multi-day event at UNO. It was only a 10-15 minute drive w/o having to get on I-10 (huge plus!). Very close to the lake, and City Park was only a few minutes away. This was our first VRBO, and I was extremely pleased with our experience. The apartment was fully equipped....all we had to do was show up! Full kitchen, full-sized washer dryer, and it comfortably slept 3, but could handle 4 easily. I would definitely stay here again! Thanks for everything, Brian!

Great place for families!

This was our second time staying here in a year. It's a great location - close to the city, but quiet with lots of great restaurants around. Brian is a great host and the unit is super cute and clean. We will hopefully stay here again in the future.

Great Condo in Big Easy

This is the second time that my husband and I have stayed in Lakefront Comfort. Our host Brian has thought of everything. Some necessities are stocked in the kitchen and bathroom. The condo is tastefully decorated and very comfortable for a short stay or a longer one. The location is excellent a short drive to the French Quarter and an even shorter one to some delicious restaurants, which are probably only a mile away. Would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed Brian's apartment! It was beautifully decorated with nice appliances and modern furniture. All the necessities you need are there in case you forgot anything including towels soap coffee etc... I really loved how they had a cute courtyard in front of the house that made the listing even more unique. The interstate is only a few minutes away so very easy to hop on to get to NOLAs business district in 15-20 minutes. Would highly recommend! FYI I accidentally left an unopen frozen box of dijorno pizza and chicken pot pie that I bought at the Winn Dixie down the street on 4/16/17 in case the next renter may want it or not. Thanks for the great stay!

Lovely and very clean!

We enjoyed our stay in this very clean and lovely apartment. It was so nice to come home in the evening to relax there. Brian was very personable and extremely helpful. Perfect spot for a New Orleans getaway

This property was amazing to stay at! The apartment was well-kept, spacious and had everything we needed (i.e. water bottles, toiletries, hairdryer, etc.). It was centrally located to everything we wanted see, and was a great escape from the downtown area. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place to Honeymoon.

We spent our honeymoon here and could not have been more pleased. The apartment was extremely clean and fully furnished. Walmart was just 10 mins away so we were able to cook some of our meals and save some money for other things. We were 10 mins from the french quarter and walking distance to several very good restaurants. We were very happy with everything, thanks for a great experience!

Clean and quiet

If you ever visit New Orleans this is the place to stay, It's truly home away from home. Brian was cool along with some of his family members who I got a chance to meet. Close to everything without the hustle and bustle of the city.
