Located between two unspoiled beaches in the Cape Fear Station of Bald Head Island, NC--Our home offers a peaceful and modern getaway from everyday life. It is nestled in the enchanting maritime forest with easy access to two pristine beaches and the Bald Head Island conservancy.

This location offers guests the opportunity to experience nature and still enjoy updated amenities. You will have easy access to miles of hiking, biking and running trails. If you wish, the option to purchase temporary membership at the nearby elegant Shoals Club is also available.

When you arrive, swing open the white-picket fence and stroll down the quaint boardwalk toward the Nantucket-inspired cottage. On the way, there is an outdoor shower and access to a "tree house" style guest cottage with a queen-size bed and ensuite. At the main house, the screened in porch offers a place to play cards, enjoy thoughtful conversation, breathe in the salty, fresh air, and listen to the symphony of nature--tree frogs, soothing surf, and cicadas guaranteed. Al fresco dining an option. Gas-grill available.

Enter a welcoming kitchen with stainless steel appliances connected to an intimate dining area which comfortably seats 6 (including a cozy built-in window seat).

Pass by the built-in bookcase to a spacious family room with large windows, light hardwood floors, and flat screen TV. Oak furnishings, a comfortable sectional sofa, and a whimsical wicker coffee table invite you to relax after a hard day of play.

Upstairs offers, two bedrooms (each with private bathrooms) and washing machine & dryer. One king-size bed and one queen-size bed.

The front porch has access to a tranquil boardwalk to enjoy nature among palmettos, a community gazebo, ancient oaks, and Spanish moss. Follow the sounds of the surf and experience a spectacular sunrise on East Beach. Or check-out the educational programs available at the Nature Conservancy. The sea turtles are their specialty!

Fantastic restaurants and a fully-stocked Mariner's Market are within minutes away.
