The cottage was beautiful, with a marsh nearby where egrets and other birds roost at night. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed.Make sure you know how to get in before leaving the mainland. Cell service was spotty. Once we got settled in, the Wi-Fi worked great.The reservation process was more formal than we’ve seen, but it didn’t cause any issues and everything went smoothly.

This was our 1st time on Bald Head Island and our stay at the Coconut’s Castle cottage heightened the experience. It was the perfect place to relax while enjoying the beautiful, natural scenery surrounding the cottage. The cottage was impeccably clean and we loved how the 3 bedrooms all had their own private bath. The private screened in porch was one of our favorite features too! It came stocked with necessities such as linens, towels, kitchen items, a golf cart, beach chairs and bikes. The cottage’s location is also ideal because you are only a short golf cart drive from the beach, boutiques, and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Great getaway

Weather was perfect for a girls’ getaway. We loved the island. All the people on the island were so friendly and courteous. Will definitely return to paradise.

Pleasant and peaceful

Our family so enjoyed our stay in your cottage. Bald Head is a piece of heaven! We were pleased to have both golfcart and use of bikes. A piece of paradice!

Wedding Stay

The home we stayed in was lovely. Clean and airy and perfect for our group. The convenience of a bathroom for each bedroom was terrific. The beautiful golf cart was awesome.

We booked last minute! Came by Boat from Wilmington! In the past, we have stayed at marsh Harbor… Too small these days for teenagers so it worked out Perfectly! Hope to make this our regular go to In the future!

Quick Wedding Trip

Stayed here for a few days while attending a friend's wedding. Check in was easy, place was clean and it was nice to have a golf cart available on property. Only critics I have would be some damage/warping to the downstairs bathroom vanity that could cause some minor injury if not careful, and the shower heads are just old school/cheap small heads.

Lovely Weekend Away!

Overall we had a lovely weekend and the property was in a great location. Very quiet street and easy to get around. Check in and out was incredibly easy. The 6 seater cart was easy to use and we lucked out with bikes. House had everything you need too. However, the property could use a good clean.. it was very buggy inside and outside. Didn’t seem like it had been deep cleaned in a while or dusted/swept. There were peoples laundry in the closet making it seem like no one ever cleaned up after the last people to stay. For the price I would expect to have had it cleaned better.

Coconuts Castle is Awesome!!

Amazing location right in the middle of everything! Super quiet. Check in and out was super efficient and we never had to worry about a thing. We will definitely book with BHI services whenever we come to the island!

Perfect place- we will be back

Coconut castle was the perfect spot for our group of 6. The location was perfect and the house was clean. We noticed a leak under the sink and the management company had someone out within 10 minutes. We have already booked our next visit!

Great rental.

Perfect get away spot. Stairs and landing could have been cleaner (but looked like could have been debris that blew in?) but we only stayed downstairs so it was fine. Thank you!

Nice stay at Coconuts Castel

House is comfortable and clean. Bed and bath linens were terrific and in abundance. We wanted to enjoy the screened porch, so we had to clean that ourselves--lots of cob webs & bugs, and the porch furniture was kinda dirty. Kitchen is well-equipped with utensils, cookware, etc. There were plenty of coolers, an umbrella, and beach chairs (4) for the beach, Bikes are in great shape and a nice amenity. No beach towels, but we brought our own so no problem. Six passenger golf cart seems pretty new. Don't know why people were complaining about furniture. We aren't in BHI to sit watching TV! The neighborhood was fine, with a dock overlooking a pond with lots of birds and a gator. We had a nice stay!

Loved this little hidden gem!

We say hidden because it's tucked away in the maritime forest which just adds to the beauty! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Coconut's Castle. There is a little lagoon across the street where we say herons, turtles and even a small gator. The gold cart was a great inclusion to this rental along with all the other little perks. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.
