Spacious with great views

We loved it here. Very clean, roomy and relaxing. Close to the beach plus had all of the perks of a pool, hot tub and fitness room. The view of the Gulf was really nice too! Easy check in and access to everything!

The property was very clean. We enjoyed every minute. The Property Mansger answered any questions. They answered very quickly. We didn’t have to wait for our answer. Even though it was an off the wall question. lolEven the security guard was very helpful We can’t wait until next year!!

We were pleased with the location. Everything was clean and was our home away from home. The only thing was it could have been closer to the ocean because the walk wore us out , although we got plenty of exercise.

The Indies at Fort Morgan for Family Vacation

We stayed here for a total of 3 nights in early August, 2024. I might be overly picky about the cleanliness, but overall it wasn't too bad. Some of the outlets in the kitchen didn't seem to work. However, the facility itself was overall very nice. It is a short walk to the beach. The pool is nice and clean. The security on site is helpful and friendly. The beach itself is also very clean and not very busy (at least when we were there). We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay

This home was great! It has plenty of places to sit in the living room and patio. The kitchen was large and has plenty of cookware available. It was also very clean. The Indies is in beautiful Fort Morgan and only a few minutes walk to the beach. The only negative, which is minor, was the pool was not clean only one day and had lots of bugs floating in it. But otherwise, the pool was usually clean. The kid pool was also not open during our stay as it seems they are working on it. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking to stay in this area.

A great place to stay, but don’t rely on maintenance fixing anything

We loved everything about our stay, except for the lack of attention to fixing the master bathroom toilet that we reported as broken. It almost overflowed on the first flush, and we reported it immediately. Several text messages later, with unfulfilled promises of repair, we never saw maintenance during our three night mid-week stay. Part of the reason I booked this rental was for the two bathrooms. There were several other properties with only one bathroom that I bypassed, for the convenience of having two bathrooms. I asked for a small credit, $50, and it was declined. Very disappointing.

The Indies 709

We had the opportunity to stay in Ft Morgan at the Indies 709 in mid-August 2022. The condo was very clean and quiet with everything that we needed to prepare meals and relax during our vacation. The beach is accessible by car or by taking a short walk down the sidewalk. We enjoyed our stay and will search for this unit again on our next visit to Ft. Morgan.

Great Place

This condo at the Indies was perfect for our group of four. The condo was very quiet even though we had people in units around us. The kitchen was well stocked with needed items and the washer and dryer were very nice. The balconies in these units are huge and provide a great place to spend time, plenty of seating for our group. Being of the seventh floor I was afraid the wait for the elevators would be a problem but it was not an issue at all. The time from our front door to the beach (waters edge) was exactly ten minutes (at a very casual pace). There were more people on the beach than I expected however we usually stay a week later in the month and that was likely the issue. The water was filled with seaweed and algae so that was a bit of a disappointment. Painting was being done around the condo and a couple of construction vehicles had the parking lot blocked off but it did not create any problems. The views from the condo were great and it was nice to be able to rent beach chairs and a tent for our stay, at times there was an attendant the beach. I would stay at this condo again, it was very well cared for. If you go into Gulf Shores try eating at Desotos, go early.

Great getaway for friends

Beautiful location. The room was well -stocked with soaps, toilet paper. Air conditioner worked great. Master bed frame might need to be replaced. Pillows are flat and need to be replaced. Overall it was a great stay. There is a bit of a walk to the beach so if you are taking a lot of things to the beach bring a wagon or cart. Easy walk to Tacky Jack's, definitely recommend Sassy Bass. Would recommend!

Family beach vacation

Perfect location, laid back, family vacation! The deck was fantastic and the sunsets were beautiful over the bay and harbor! Pretty typical to see dolphins cruising up and down the shallows of the gulf! We will be back!!!
