Perfect condo

We loved this condo. The location was the best for our family. Fishing in the lagoon or walking across the street to the beach. Everything we wanted to do was right there. We appreciated all of the dishes, pans and cooking supplies, so that we could do most of meals in our condo. We hope to come back soon!

Overall the place was great. The living room was super nice and the master bed was comfortable but the unit as a whole was quite dated. The stove was ancient and the bathrooms were cramped to say the least but we still had a blast. The lagoon was awesome and it was super easy to access the beach.

Beautiful view!

This condo has one of the best views out of other sea oats rooms that I have stayed in! The king bed was very comfortable as well! This condo is on the first floor so there are not as many stairs, but it is a little bit further of a walk to the beach, but it is not too bad of a walk since sea oats has their own cross walk. The room was pretty clean, I prefer a room that does not have carpet all throughout. We kept stepping on sand spurs that were stuck in the carpets and rugs from previous guests. The twin beds only had pillows and sheets on them, but we found spare blankets in the closets. We wanted to use the spare extra pillows to sleep with, but non of them had pillow cases on them and there were no extra provided. Also, if you like to sleep with a box fan, you may need to bring you own, there was not one in the room. I would consider renting this condo again, I would just know what to bring to make my stay more comfortable.

Stay anywhere but here!

Overpriced. Horrible communication. Ghosted for 6 days of our 8 day stay. Riddled with the smell and visibility of mold and mildew. Nothing has been remodeled since the 80’s, just painted over or all of the originals. The smell when you walk in is overwhelming especially in the bathrooms and the two hall closets, and they tried to mask it with cheap Airwick room fresheners on the backs of the toilets. The beds are horrible and there were no comforters on any of the beds. No extra linens or towels. The dryer was rusted and was disgusting. None of the pots and pans had matching lids. The blender spewed out brown liquid from the bottom all over the counter top. The bench to the dining room table is broken. The lid of the master toilet seat was broken off. The bathtubs backed up while you were taking a shower so you were bathing up to your ankles in your filth. The wood floors were rotten and converted up with rugs. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Great location

We like the view of the lagoon especially at Sunset. The beach was great and not busy any time during the week. There is plenty of room for 6. The A/C worked with no problems and kept very comfortable. We did have issues signing into the secure WIFI site and just used our data option. We recommend going to The Steamers and also Doc’s seafood and oyster shack in Orange Beach. We would return to stay here again

Family time

We had some much needed family time and a fabulous vacation at the beach! This place was perfect for us! Our home away from home except they have the beach and ocean!! It had everything we needed. First time staying at this resort and it did not disappoint! The views were beautiful! Couldn’t of asked for a better week! My only advice would be a folder of recommendations for favorite restaurants or favorite things to do while there otherwise no complaints! We will definitely be back!

Great first time!

First time in Gulf Shores, and our condo was great..close to the strip, loved drinking my coffee on the deck each morning watching the pelicans and fish. Walking to the perfect beach only took minutes and having the resorts area marked was very helpful with beach showers! Great Vacation!

This property is in serious need of an update. It’s like I stepped into my childhood but not in a good way. It was dirty, curtains and lampshades were stained. There was an overwhelming smell in the hall that seems to be permanent. You do not what to stay here.

Spring Break

The view from the den and both bedrooms was beautiful. However , other then the view - the stay was not very pleasant. When we arrived on Monday , it was cold. The unit was 54 degrees when we walked in. I tried turning up the heat but it wasn't working. I reached out to VASCA. To let them know. I got a text message back from them about 12:30 am. It took until the next afternoon before the heat ever started working and got the unit up to 68. Also , there was only one extra blanket in the entire unit and there were four of us. It was very cold. In addition to this , the pest control guy came in completely unannounced. We were all in our pajamas in the bedrooms and suddenly heard s male voice in the den / kitchen area. We had no idea he was coming. I also reached out to VASCA to let them know about this situation as well as the front toilet clogging and the tub not draining. I was assured a repair man would contact me. No one ever did despite me reaching out again. The unit is in bad shape. The floor going from The den to the balcony is rotting. The medicine cabinet in the master bedroom was filthy. We have used VRBO for a lot of travel in the last. However., we will never rent this unit again or any unit that is mashed by VASCA. The customer service is terribly lacking

Good view

We enjoyed the view of the lagoon, especially at night. The pool was beautiful and peaceful. Access to the beach was very close and enjoyable. The kitchen was totally stocked with pots and pans, plates, glasses, silverware, cooking utensils. No spices, coffee, etc. Easy check in.

Labor Day weekend

The place was very nice and clean. What I liked most was it has its on deck with a beautiful view or the bay. At night the bay would be lit up by all the fishing piers.

Nice beach and condo was spacious

It was nice but older. Floors were creaky when walking and doors were noisy. Place was spacious had everything we needed. Bedding and towels were like a hotel. The beds were to firm we did not sleep well. We enjoyed the beach, the pools, and the dock. We liked where the condo was and would stay here again.
