The Space
Sunrise boasts an open floor plan designed for comfort and convenience. The living area features plenty of seating, perfect for gathering with family or friends, while the dining area and well-equipped kitchen make meal preparation and dining a breeze. The kitchen includes granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and all the essentials for simple meals or snacks.

Recent updates include new flooring and fresh paint on the main level and staircase, adding to the home’s charm.

Large family vacation

We were disappointed that although the listing indicated sleeps 20, there was no room for 20 people to socialize, eat together, sit outside together. It did sleep 20 comfortably, but no room to be together otherwise. The agency was very kind and quick to respond to messages.

Overall we had a great trip. The house was in a great location. For enough away from the condos and traffic to be very quiet but close enough to get to everything we needed easily. The house had plenty of space for all of our family which was a lot. The only negatives were the outside and especially around the pool area. It was obvious that one side of the duplex had gotten some upgrades and one side had not. There were weeds growing on the pool deck and the whole area needed some repairs and cleaning.

Don’t do it!

We booked this house for a week. The whole house needs DEEP cleaned and updated. Lots and lots of mold. Contacted the supervisor. He came by once then never heard from him again even after trying to reach out again. The smell of the nasty bowl of leaking water under the kitchen sink is atrocious. Blood on walls. I can go on and on. The pool lights don’t work and had electricity running to them and shocked if you got close to it.

Soccer beach getaway

Very responsive to questions and Very helpful. Would def recommend this house to anyone. Very nice stay and not far from soccer fields. Walk to the beach was very nice - a few steps 😎❤️

Best part was location & cost

The location was perfect. The house needs work. When you walk in the door, you are hit with that musty mildew odor. New floors and washer/ dryer. Everything else needs a deep clean and upgrade. Pool area cracked, weeds grown up with sticker bushes and water hose to wash the sand off your feet did not work. Needed more towels. For our group that was older it was too many stairs. No board walk to the beach but it was still pretty close and beautiful!

Great Vacation Home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The beach house was great for our family to spend time together. The house is clean and up to date. We all loved the fact that each bedroom had a bathroom. I would provide a couple of suggestions small single serve Keurig coffee maker and mini fridge on 3rd floor and 2nd floor master suites it would make a great little touch. And a little clean up around the pool area but other than those suggestions the place and location was great!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of Sunrise was perfect! We loved the layout of the house. We were disappointed in the lack of cleanliness of the bathrooms. Multiple bathrooms had mold and smelt of urine. The linens were clean. The mattresses were not very comfortable. The A\C was great. The views were amazing. The pool area was disappointing. It is need of some upgrades to the decking and the landscaping needed some TLC. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice and Big

The scenic view was a significant highlight, and the house offered ample space for my family of 7 and my aunt's family of 6. Unfortunately, we encountered an issue with roaches in the kitchen and living room. Despite reaching out, pest control was promised but never arrived. Additionally, there was a rain leak through the balcony door on one particularly stormy day during our stay.

Graduate Trip at the Sunrise

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, this is a convenient and quaint house to stay in on the beach. The house needs some TLC in various areas, but nothing that would deter me from renting again. The only challenge was the AC. Renters are not allowed to adjust it to lower than 72 degrees or it will damage the chiller. If this occurs, costs may be passed on to the renter. The AC is temperamental....sometimes cold/sometimes hot on second floor, freezing on first floor, luke warm on third floor. However, the rental company always responded in a timely and professional manner. This was our overall experience.

Great place but needs service

Fabulous unit and managers super responsive thank you Jen! Place has a lot of deferred service issues. Fridge had broken shelves fixed with duct tape same repair with a shower rod. Fridge also leaked water on floor most of stay. It looks like they are trying to catch up work on unit though so hopefully unit will Improve. New wall covering and paint and fresh flooring were nice. If any elder or mobility issues there are a TON of narrow stairs.

Great Visit!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house provides an absolute great stay! The views from the balconies are gorgeous. You literally walked out from the back patio to the sand and the ocean is a few steps away. We took 12 people and everyone fit perfectly. Some of the furniture and things are a little worn but not to the point that it affects your stay. There are some other minor issues that You can visibly see some weathering in the house- but again, it does not affect the quality of stay. One thing I didn’t realize when I booked is that it’s a side by side condo/townhouse so you actually share the pool with unit A. There are LOTS of steps so I would be leery of older couples booking and having to trek those stairs all the time. I would absolutely stay here again and hope to! It provided the very best location and stay for spring break for my family and our friends. All correspondences were very prompt with questions I had and we actually tried to add an extra night on to our stay.

Great Location & Floor Plan

We loved the floor plan. More than enough room for our family of 12. Overall it was a great vacation and the location on the beach was wonderful. The pool was a bonus & was refreshing after a day on the beach. Kitchen was fully equipped. Negatives-The property floors were not clean when we arrived. Sand was everywhere and there were hairballs/dirt in the corners of most rooms & under the bed. It was apparent the floors had not been swept in some time. The cabinets and drawers in the bathrooms needed to to be wiped out. The Wi-Fi was horrible, and we had issues working the TVs. The property needs some updating. Master bathroom lights were rusted and the air vents were gross. The AC on top floor was struggling. Outside of property needs some paint. Area fence around the pool deck needs some work. Couch in living room needs to be replaced.

Was ok inside needs updating on beds

Well bedroom on main floor the grandson slept in woke up covered in big bites of some kind.. the. Daughter did not know about it she used the extra blanket from that room niw she has bites all over her. Have a doc apt when we get home they are so bad. Ceiling was leaking from upstairs bathroom all over kitchen table you could tell it had already been fixed once.. our bed broke in middle of night looked under it.. the middle support bar was held together with zip ties. Called manager about all these issues. All she said was oh, im sorry... not well let me give you a discount or coupon for you next trip or anything???? Wonder if owners know how poorly tge property management company is caring for their place???

Very disappointed and left early☹️

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival the pool had not been cleaned. The pool also shocked our children around the light. They sent someone out and took out the pool light and said it would be fine to swim. The rental needs to be updated. The master on the second floor commode kept stopping up snd overflowed several the same bathroom there was a water leak.they sent out a plumber that said it was fixed. A little later we were eating dinner and all the sudden the ceiling started pouring water that got on our food and us. This was right below the leak in the bathroom.We left a day early. We have been vacationing every year in the gulf shores, Destin area for over 30 years. By far the worst rental we ever stayed in. We are so disappointed. The room my husband and I stayed in the showerhead was about to come out of the wall.

Misleading Rental

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property should NOT be listed as a house! It is a duplex/condo. The entire description of the property was confusing and misleading. It needs some maintenance work done immediately. The deck railing on the main floor is not attached to the structure in one area. The second floor bathrooms need the tubs and sinks fixed. The vacuums did not work. The floors were sandy when we arrived. One top bunk in the very small bunk room is broken and the roll away bed on the third floor is unusable. The photos used on the site were misleading as well(pool size and walkway to the beach). We made it work and had an enjoyable vacation, but NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!

The listing description has been changed since we booked our stay, it is more realistic now, but the place will still not hold 21 comfortably. The beach is beautiful, there was a lot of seaweed in the water, but that cleared our last day and the water was awesome then. As for the house, the internet did not work, even though they came out and spent the majority of Monday in the house working on it. The bathrooms were gross, tubs had to be scrubbed before we would take a shower in them and all had mold. We had to kill several of those big flying roaches in the house. The A/C worked intermittently, we had one night where it was 83 in the house, they were supposed to come work on it, but never did and never communicated as to why they never showed up. The pool was nice, but the deck was overgrown with weeds and splintering. The stairs from the front door to the first floor were rotted and covered in mold. It is obvious the 2 sides of this duplex are owned separately, as the other side was painted nicely on the out side, and the deck was new and updated and no over grown weeds. You could clearly see where they stopped painting the outside of the house, and our side was all peeling and chipped. What a shame they did not keep up the maintenance on this house, had the ability to be great.
