Welcome to your own private 23-acre oasis, just 2 miles from Lake Cumberland and the brand-new Horse Soldier Farms bourbon distillery! Our custom-built lake house is designed for families and friends to relax, reconnect, and make unforgettable memories.

PRIVATE FISHING PARADISE
Fish right on the property in our private pond, stocked with crappie, bluegill, bass, sunfish, and HUGE catfish! Fishing poles are provided.

Lake Cumberland is just 2 miles away, with boating, fishing, swimming, and water sports. The surrounding area offers Daniel Boone National Forest, waterfall hikes, Cumberland Falls, hiking, kayaking, and countless outdoor adventures.

Bourbon lovers will love being just 2 miles from the brand-new Horse Soldier Farms, a major new bourbon tourism destination that opened in Somerset in July 2026.

You’re close to everything, yet once you arrive, you may never want to leave!

I’m also happy to share our favorite restaurants, hikes, lake activities, day trips, waterfalls, and local hidden gems to help you plan the perfect vacation.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not allow parties or instant bookings. We personally review reservations to ensure our home is the right fit for your group and will be cared for as our own.

Custom built cabin on 23 acres right by Lake Cumberland! Private gated stone entrance, personal fishing pond, custom Trex dock and breathtaking views. The rental includes a paddle boat, fishing boat, 3 adult kayaks, 1 kids kayak, life jackets and fishing poles.

Relax in luxury, fully stocked kitchen, granite, all the appliances gadgets and grills. (Traeger grill & egg) high speed Wifi, outdoor heaters, fans, outdoor lighting, indoor fireplace, washer/dryer. LUXURY Hot tub with surround sound (available for additional service fee)

The space
You will have 23 acres to use, explore and enjoy. We built our cabin to be a blessing to others. It is truly a relaxing Oasis! We have only offered it to close friends, church family and missionaries until now.

This is our first time offering it to the public so that’s why we don’t allow instant book. We want to be sure you will take great care of it and not host any “college parties”. We welcome low key gatherings only.

PlayStation4, Alexa, Pellet grill, green egg grill, outdoor heaters, outdoor fans, outdoor lights, fireplace, fire-pit, private 2 acre stocked pond, fishing poles, fishing boat, paddle boat, kayaks, life jackets, snow sleds, ... you name it! We have an 8 year old son so we will share his toys, oodles of games, kids water table and Nerf guns.

This is our private 2nd home so you are welcome to use anything we have. Tons of condiments and spices for cooking. Whatever you need. We want this to be your favorite vacation ever! Full of life-long memories!
