Wicked Close to Long Sands Beach! #2

Only 400 steps to Long Sands beach via Webber road! This is a 2 bed 1 bath condo (duplex) with great proximity to the beach with everything you need to cook from home! Just One Block Back from beautiful Long Sands Beach. Long Sands Beach has long been a destination for summer vacations. The water is clear and the beach is clean. Family friendly, this beach offers miles of sand and oftentimes, great waves for boogie boarding and body surfing! The cottage offers a renovated kitchen with bamboo flooring throughout. There is a smart TV, WiFi, full bathroom with 4 foot shower and so much more! This house is perfect for solo adventures, couples, and families!

We provide hand soap, dish soap, dish towels, a bath mat, trash bags, basic cleaning products, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in a shower pump, light weight summer quilts, 2 rolls of toilet paper, and 1 roll of paper towel.

All 3 of the mattresses and all of the pillows are covered with pillow and mattress protectors. The kitchen is stocked with all the basic things you should need during your stay like a toaster, a keurig & regular drip coffee marker, pots and pans if you feel like cooking, plates and cups, and naturally...wine glasses! If there is something that you think should be there, or that you are looking for, please don't hesitate to reach out to us and we will make our best attempt to accommodate your needs within 24 hours of the request (within reason).

There is a mini-split AC in each bedroom, a fan in the main living area. There is parking for 2 cars. There is also heat available throughout for those chilly spring or fall nights.

This duplex is great for 2 families if you'd like to go on vacation together but have your own space rent both sides! Both sides are 2 bed room 1 bath and sleep 6 people.

We also rent this property for a 6-9 month term in the winter months feel free to inquire about that as well! We do not provide sheets or towels, there is 1 queen size, 1 double or full size, and 1 queen sleeper sofa. There is a washer and dryer for you to use during your stay exclusive to this unit only.

Clean and close to the beach!

House was very clean and pet friendly. We had a couple of issues with AC and outlets working. Property Manager sent someone out same day but unfortunately the issue was not able to be repaired during our stay.

The cottage was as advertised and the air conditioning was a refreshing perk. Lots of room, clean and everything we needed to enjoy our week at York beach.

Ultra clean, great neighborhood, awesome AC!

Our party consisted of 3 adults and this house was plenty big enough - could easily support a few more people though pull-out couch would then need to be used. Reasonable walk to beach and if you have young kids and/or want to be near bath house, we'd recommend just driving to drop beach gear early in the morning and dropping off family when you're ready for beach. It's about .5mi to walk to bath house, but much, much shorter if you don't need to be by bath house. Neighborhood is very friendly and very quiet. House had all the essentials and was ULTRA CLEAN...A/C is supported by mini-splits that are super quiet and kept house very cool. Booking was simple thru VRBO and owner was very responsive. We would definitely consider renting this place again.

Perfect last minute getaway!

This house was exactly as described, and extremely clean. We are so happy (& lucky) that we came across this listing when we decided to take a last minute week long getaway. The house was very close to Long Sands, and was stocked with amenities that you typically would not find in a rental (shampoo, body wash, kitchen linens, etc.)- the small touches that were included were refreshing to see. The bed was very comfortable, and the A/C system worked fantastic in the 90•+ heat wave. We will definitely be looking to book again with this host in the future!

Family vacation

My wife and our toddler stayed here and it was a nice place to stay after long days on the beach. Unfortunately on the last night, the AC unit stopped working but other than that it was great.

Good place to stay with some things to note

Great location - 5 minute walk to the beach. It had a well stocked kitchen with a full sized fridge. It was a nice space for our family to stay in. The description says that it is newly renovated, with new furniture and new bathroom. While the unit was clean and the shower stall seemed new, the furniture did not seem to be, the bathroom cabinet and sink seemed outdated and the the heat register was old and rusty. The ac mini-splits were nice for temperature control, but I wish there were screens in the windows in order to get fresh air. In the end, we would stay again!

Great Location and Clean

This small beach house was fine for our family of three. It was very clean and in a great location. We were able to walk to the beach with no problems. There is also a nice restaurant within walking distance. I highly recommend it.

Excellent rental property

We had a great experience at this York cottage. The check in process was very easy and the property manager was quick to respond to us. The cottage was so clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The proximity to the beach was the best part. It was a quick 5 minute walk to Long Sands Beach, which is a beautiful beach! The only complaint is that the beds could be a little more comfortable, but other than that a wonderful experience!

A Nice Get a way Holiday Weekend

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was simple to get to the beach and the neighbors we're really nice when we're grilling outdoors. The place was really clean so we felt comfortable right away. It was quiet too. The only 2 things I would recommend is a new coffee maker for the K cup. It leaked and made a mess, but we cleaned it up quickly. The other is the mattresses were really old, super soft and the bed squeaked a lot. If those could be replaced I would have given this a 5 star rating.

Clean and very nice

Everything was great. Property manager was very nice. Location was as expected. Had beach chairs and a cart to carry them to the beach. It has a very nice gas grill.

So convenient !

Owner was WONDERFUL about responding to questions and the unit was perfect for what we wanted. Very close to the beach, and it had all the conveniences we needed. All three of us are retired and just wanted to relax and wander up and down the coast towns. Only suggestion we would make would be to check out the mattress/ bed frames- the mattresses seemed a little saggy but it could be the frames just needed another cross slat? LOL. Thanks for making the our time in York so memorable!

Great Place, wonderful neighborhood!

We had such a great stay! My brother rented one side with his family, we rented the other side. We met some really nice people and dogs who live in the neighborhood. Easy walk to the beach!!! We will be back again next year!!!!

Cute cottage, great location!

Our family of 5 had a great week in York. The cottage was very cute and well-equipped with everything we needed. Renee was awesome with communication and got right back to me with any questions that I had. We absolutely loved the short walk to Long Sands - less than 5 minutes! We also walked to a few nearby restaurants (Sun & Surf and Lobster Cove) which was so nice to do with a walk on the beach afterward. Great place to stay if you want to be on Long Sands!

Great trip to York

We really enjoyed our stay in this unit! It was clean and well stocked with household items for our stay. Bathroom is updated. Good sized eating area. The location is perfect for s short walk to Long Sands Beach! Recommend this unit!
