Great location

This was a beautiful home in a fantastic location. We enjoyed our talks by the pool and the golf cart rides to the beach. We typically stay in a condo but having a hone to ourselves with a private pool was so much better.

Great house. Clean, comfortable and room to spread out. Great access to beach and restaurants and entertainment. Owners were a real pleasure to work with and had great communication.

well stocked, well thought out means a laid back vacation

overall the experience was amazing! definitely a well stocked house…it seemed that everything was well thought out and left us lacking nothing. house and yard/pool space were very comfortable and again much thought went into meeting needs down to a playhouse for little ones! thank you!

Very good value for your money

This beach house was beautiful and as advertised. The golf cart is a great addition for getting to the beach, although it was only about a three minute walk. Well-stocked kitchen. Beach towels provided and having a portable crib was handy. The pool is wonderful. Lots of seating.

Beautiful Home

The home was beautiful. We had four adults and five children and the accommodations worked very well for us. We all enjoyed the pool. The beach is about a 4 minute walk but we used the provided golf cart for our beach outings. The home is stocked with anything you could possibly need. We would highly recommend this home and will definitely be staying here again.

Good not great.

This was our second stay in the house in as many years. The house is in good clean condition. The area is awesome and you really don’t need to bring much on the trip. My complaints are small but for the price should be better. Ice machine can’t keep up with use, and fact there is no ice machine if fridge is baffling. The second room of bunk beds was not expected but we made due. Overall the house is a great place to enjoy some fun in the sun not sure price justifies what you actually get.

Don't miss this one!

Wow! This is a great find. The house is immaculate and exactly, if not better, than described. The lay out was perfect for our family of ten (including a teen and two 7 year old boys) and very well appointed. We cooked-in for almost every meal and there wasn't a cooking tool or pot/pan we couldn't find. And all of it was new and very clean. The yard is spacious and well cared for, including the HUGE pool. There are plenty of lounge chairs and eating areas to go around and everything was clean and well maintained. Want to spend all your time at the beach? No problem, the golf cart that comes with the house makes it so easy to go back and forth. BUT it is also a very easy stroll down the street without it. We were a little worried about the crowds on the beach due to the holiday week, but found it no problem at all. We had one very minor issue with the grill during our stay but almost as soon as I pressed send on my text, the owners were there to remedy the situation. They are extremely attentive and very easy to work with. Sarah went out of her way to help us with an item we left behind and the check-in / check-out process was the easiest we've experienced. We have booked about 10 homes on VRBO in various beach locations and this house has been the absolute best of them. We will be back!!!

June 2024 Family Vacation

Our family was 11 adults and 1 child and the location of the house was perfect! Overall, we loved the house but check in could have been better. Since we were traveling a long distance on check in day and I was driving, it would have been helpful to have the instructions early in the day before we left home or the day before, so I could communicate that to the rest of our group that were all arriving at different times. My son and his wife arrived just after 4pm and we did not have the check in information yet. I had to find a place to stop, and left a message through VRBO, left a voicemail and texted. We got the code to enter at 4:22. I have had better check in experiences with other VRBO rentals. Once we got in, the house was just as it was listed and was exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen had every pot, pan, etc. that we needed for meals and the small ice machine was a hit with nugget ice for our water bottles. The layout of the house was great as well and the golf cart was fantastic. We love that it was electric and even took it to Brewsters to get ice cream. The best part was the private pool. We used the pool every day while other family members enjoyed the outside covered seating with ceiling fans. We had a few maintenance issues that were never resolved (the oven did not work properly and the light in the double bunk room would not stay on), but those issues did not impact our stay at all. I highly recommend this home and would stay here again!

Late Summer Destin Family Vacation

The property was beautiful. High ceilings really made the house feel even bigger. Very clean. Short 5 minute walk to the beach. It would have been nice to have a little more information regarding the best place to access the public beach in the house binder, though it wasn't too hard to figure out once we got there. The backyard and pool were really nice (pool was a really nice size for 6 young kids to swim in - i'm guessing 16'x30' - and clean/clear). The backyard doesn't get a lot of wind, so it was incredibly hot/humid back there in the August heat (over 90 deg. everyday) - hard to relax back there unless you are in the pool - just awareness, can't knock the property for this, it's HOT everywhere down there in August. House was well stocked with what you'd need. The ice machine will not keep up with what you'll need during the week (you'll have to buy bags of ice). We did have to deal with a very small but irritatting dripping leak from an upstairs bathroom vent (we assume from condensation). We texted the property manager to tell her about it but got no repsonse. On the flip side, we asked if there was an opportunity to check in a bit earlier and it just so happened that things were ready for us 2 hours early. This was a big thumbs up. We had 10 guests including 6 kids under the age of 12. This house was a great size for our group, had great access to the beach and quick access to all of the stores/restaurants in Destin. Beautiful house and great stay!

Awesome Property

The pictures do not do this place justice. This house has everything a party of 11 needs 7 adults and 4 children 1,4,6,8 The pool was awesome. The rooms had everything needed for a great night sleep. Bathrooms were nice and well equiped. Really the only thing I can say is that the porch light was out and there needs to be more lights in the back. This house is a must use if thinking of coming to Destin. We are already trying to book for next year. Do Not pack kitchen stuff we brought some but this house has more then you will ever need.

Wonderful family spot!

I came with my whole family which included 15 people ranging in age from 4-70. There was room for everyone including a toddler mattress we used in the bunk room for my 4 year old so she could be with the rest of the kids. The property is so well appointed! There was nothing we needed that they didn't have including plastic plates and cups for the kids! What a wonderful surprise! Also they have toys in the house, a highchair (if you need), lots of towels, dishes and pots and pans. Truly they thought of everything! The golf cart was great! We didn’t park it at the beach but we used it to cart our stuff there and drop it. It was a nice short walk. The pool and yard were wonderful with a few shady spots to get out of the sun. The pool water was really warm, but the ocean water was a little cooler. We had a few small issues that were quickly resolved and an issue with the AC that I should’ve complained about sooner, but was fixed eventually. Overall we had such a wonderful time! It’s a perfect location! We would all love to come back!

Perfect Home for Family Vaca

This home was perfect in every way, I can’t say enough about it! We loved all the room we had, each bedroom had a king bed and the outdoor space was amazing! Kitchen was great and had everything we needed. The house was very clean, plenty of towels and hot water for all 15 of us to take showers and wash clothes. The kids loved using the golf cart to get around although the walk to the beach was an easy one. We have always stayed in a condo but this has us spoiled now! We will definitely be staying here again!

Amazing family vacation spot!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home! It was prefect for our first family vacation to the beach with two kids under 2. We were so impressed with how clean and well kept the house was. The golf cart was so helpful in carting all the kids things to and from the beach along with the house being equipped with just about anything you may need! The backyard and pool was so secluded you felt like the only ones around! We loved this property and hope to visit again!

Perfect place for our family

The property was beautiful and well maintained. The listing says they have everything needed at the house, which is definitely accurate! If you have young children, the house comes with everything you could possibly need, including a playhouse, stroller, beach toys, baby monitor, kids dishes, etc. we loved the pool and the short walk to the beach. The golf cart was great as well! We only had one small “issue” while we were there and it was handled within a few hours. I really appreciated the fast response! We will be back to this property for sure!

A long overdue review!

We had the wonderful luck and opportunity to stay at this property in April, last month. Start by saying that this was the first time that we have had a "combined family" vacation. Two households combining w/teenage and adult children. Anything could have happened, however every single person walked away from this vacation stating it was the BEST vacation they ever had! For many reasons, Destin simply is a gorgeous area. I have rented many house, I do believe that this is by far my favorite! We all agreed that this will be our family destination vacation spot for years to come. The home itself is immaculate, simply gorgeous. Very well-maintained, very clean. Has a wonderfully “homey” feel and everyone feels like they’re part of the conversation no matter if they are in the living room, sitting at the table or in the kitchen. The doors open to a model home like backyard. The pool area is amazing! We were there over Easter time and had an adult Easter egg hunt it was an absolute hoot!! Lit backyard in evening makes for a wonderful warm swim. Simply perfect. Has a grill for cooking and we utilized, happily! The master bedroom, WoW! The master bedroom & bathroom. Very roomy and modern, the bed was ultra comfy. The master bathroom was spacious with a water closet, a real plus. Large roomy shower that felt amazing after a long day relaxing on the beach. All of the children had their own rooms upstairs, and they raved about the set up! One of my absolute favorite parts of this house wasn’t even at the house. It was the PROPERTY MANAGER, she was the most amazing person through all of this. She spoke with me several times before we got there just to confirm things here and there, make local(s) suggestions. Very patient and wonderfully sweet. But, one of my absolute best memories of this house was one of the children suggested waffles for the morning. There was not a waffle maker in the home, I looked for one and wound up texting her to ask if there was one, there was not. However, she texted me back advising that a waffle maker would be there at the NEXT morning. I was in shock! What wonderful service! This home is divine, absolutely exceptional. A few blocks from the beach, walking distance or the golf cart was certainly utilized as well to haul our stuff back-and-forth. It doesn’t get any better than this, stop looking and book now, you will not be disappointed!! THANK YOU!! ;)
