We felt like we were at home. It was beautiful decorated for the holidays. The bed was so so comfortable!!!! And we loved having the fireplace. Ranks a 10 out of 10 in our book.

Nice place to stay

Older place but in great shape. Only negative rooms were not sound proof. Glad we brought our sound machine! paid close attention to detail from beautiful beading to plush towels. We loved all the antique bathroom fixtures. Everything was very clean!!

Last minute getaway

From booking to leaving this morning this was the perfect spot for some rest and rejuvenation. The property owners were very quick to respond and most helpful with a few requests. Definitely will be back to visit.

Loved my stay at The Vintage Oak Estate. I needed a getaway to explore the mountain and surrounding area, this was perfect. Charming, quiet, and clean. High recommendations.

Debris on floor of room. Lights at top of stairway to get to room not left on. Instructions sent to me for pick up of key were incorrect, had to contact property owner upon arrive via call, received a text nessage back advising location of key. Bed was very comfortable, other than the paintchips on the floor from the ceiling, the room was very clean. Small suggestion, perhaps a box of kleenex in the room for guests would be great.Very pretty and well decorated.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is set in the 1940’s. It felt like you walked back in time. Very clean. The owners met us when we arrived and were super friendly. The bedrooms are upstairs. They have a room downstairs to lounge around and a screened in patio to relax if you want to read with a cup of coffee. The property is big and spacious for walks. The trees in the front are big and beautiful. We will definitely make this one of our stops from now on. It was a great experience for us!

Girl's trip

This place was so quaint and comfortable. I love old homes and enjoyed looking at the restoration. The trees are gorgeous and the property is conveniently located. Owners are very nice and made us feel welcome.

My husband and I are both Mount Airy, NC natives. Our family just moved into our new home in January 2021. My husband and I teach at the local high school and are Realtors as well. We have 3 wonderful children-Katlyn (25), Kaymen (18), and Ella K (1). My wife and I, along with Ella K live in the Inn. We love hosting and having guests over to our home, and we can't wait to meet you!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Mount Airy, NC is not your typical small town. We are the basis for the Mayberry culture that was portrayed on “The Andy Griffith Show.” We are a family-oriented town that is still living a slow-paced lifestyle. Our home is approximately 6 miles from the downtown area. Downtown Mount Airy has lots of tasty restaurants, Andy Griffith memorabilia shops & a museum, a candy store, a toy store, a couple of low-key breweries, an amphitheater, a retro movie theater, clothing boutiques, coffee shops, bakeries, and more! Check out the beautiful mountain scenery with a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The closest entrance to the parkway is about a 20-minute drive from the house. Being in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, there are lots of outdoor opportunities around Mount Airy. A few activities are hiking at Pilot Mountain, Hanging Rock, or Stone Mountain, kayaking along the Yadkin or Dan River, and visiting the Mount Airy parks or greenway. The local wineries are abundant as well: Round Peak Vineyards, Shelton Vineyards, Jolo Winery, Serre Vineyards, and so many more! There is something for everyone in Mount Airy, NC!
