Welcome to 244 Flamingo Street, a stunning four-bedroom, three-bathroom canal-front home in a quiet mid-island neighborhood of Fort Myers Beach. This luxurious retreat accommodates up to 10 guests and offers a private heated pool, overflow spa, and easy access to seven miles of sugar-white sand beaches just a short 500-yard walk away.

This beautifully designed home features 10-foot ceilings and spacious interiors. The screened-in lanai is the centerpiece of the property, offering a bug-free oasis for relaxation and entertainment. Cool off in the heated pool, unwind in the spa, or lounge on the shallow deck. With a poolside basketball hoop, Ping-Pong table, and plenty of seating, this lanai is perfect for family fun or quiet afternoons. Step outside the lanai to find a propane grill and a canal-front patio where dolphins and manatees are frequent visitors.

The main level boasts a tiled open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area. The living room features a sectional sofa, flat-screen TV, and X-Box with access to Netflix and HuluPlus. Amazing Place Relaxing Stay, Perfect for families

We intend to come stay again at the property. The kitchen is well equipped with what we needed for our stay as we don't eat out much. The pool and hot tub were fantastic and the outdoor space was incredible. We spent the majority of our stay on the lanai. We loved the walking distance to the beach, it made it so easy to go back and forth from the house as needed or often when we needed a break from the sun. The beach was fantastic. The management company and the owner helped us quickly with anything we called about and were extremely nice. We were all very impressed with how attentive they were. Thank you so much, we will be back

Absolutely fabulous!!!!

This house was amazing. We spent most of our time out on the lanai. We loved the pool and hot tub as well as the seating and ping-pong outside. The house was very spacious and enjoyable. The closeness to the beach was wonderful as we walked back-and-forth every day. It is a quiet and relaxing area. The boys enjoyed fishing on the canal as well as at the beach in the evening. Restaurants and activities were in close proximity and it was nice to have a 7-Eleven at the end of the block. We will absolutely stay at this property again.

Family vacation

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay at this property. The home is located away from the crowded FMB in a quiet neighborhood, but not far from restaurants and shops. We were able to walk to the beach everyday and stop at the 7-11 at the end of the street for our coffee. The best part of the house is how spacious it is and the pool and hot tub! The home was older but clean. It looked like it had bathroom upgrades A negative about the home is that one of the bedrooms had lots of brown areas on ceiling which looked like water damage and had a musty smell to it. The master bedroom also had some brown spots on ceiling. Also, not sure if anyone ever cleaned the pool while we were there.

Family Spring Break

Such a lovely spot for Spring break with kids. Half mile walk to the beach, awesome pool and hot tub. My kids loved fishing off the dock. Video games. Plenty of space. Beautiful home and yard.

Beautiful house!

The pictures were accurate and my family enjoyed a wonderful week at this property. My kids spent HOURS in the hot tub and pool and having it screened in saved us from bugs and sunburns. The layout worked well for our group of 7, including Grandma and Great Grandma. My only suggestions for improvement would be some better beach chairs and a new wagon as the one there is broken so only the metal cart was available. We would gladly have paid extra for better beach equipment, although there was enough to work with. We also would have liked to have more pillows. A lot of them were well worn so all of us agreed a few more would have been nice.

Outside space was great, house was nice

The outdoor space really makes this rental. And the indoor space is better than the photos. We would stay here again. Negatives 1. Chairs by the pool have changed from the photos on VRBO. Only 2 plastic lounges to lay out in sun. 2. Grill is old and in poor shape; ignition does not work so need to light manually, no heat control 3. Bugs in the pool but no net provided to do manual skimming; there is a long pole but the net is broken off 4. No food in the house, not salt & pepper, spices or cooking oil. Many VRBOs provide some basics, but this house had nothing. 5. 3 bikes in garage, they are locked together and the rental company said we were not allowed to use them. 6. Tried to use the basketball net for the pool, but the ball went through the lanai net and ended up in the Chanel. The net was fixed 2 days after reporting it. 7. Outdoor couch is looking worn, but was great to have a place to sit outside and an outlet to plug in music player. 8. Pool was scheduled to be cleaned weekly, but the same pile of sand was in the corner when we arrived and 2 weeks later when we left. 9. Not impressed with management company. Sent questions about the property and didn’t get good answers back. Positives 1. Towels to use for the pool/beach, 1 per person. 2. House has high ceilings lots of room. Didn’t feel crowded with 8 people. Didn’t hear any noise when I was upstairs & the kids were still up downstairs. 3. Bedrooms all had drawers/ closet shelves/ hangers for unpacking 4. Extension cords in each bedroom to allow plugging in of multiple electronics 5. 8 person dining table outside with lazy Susan in the middle and overhead fan worked great for our family. We ate most of our meals outside. 6. Ping pong table was a fun bonus. We hit the ball around every day and had some tournaments. It was a good group activity to involve young adults. 7. Beach was short walk and never too crowded. We walked there each night to see the sunset. 8. Pool lights until 10pm and the hot tub lights even later, we stayed in the hot tub late each night. 9. Washer and dryer worked fine and we did lots of laundry. 10. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Dishwasher, stove and frig worked well. 11. Used Xbox on TV to watch Netflix and Amazon Prime movies with our account. 12. Garage had pool noodles, beach ball, pool basketball and body boards. There was also some broken stuff like a beach cart which we could have used.

Would stay again!

We have been going to fort Myers Beach for over 10 years and we keep moving away from the square. This was the furthest we gone down the island and it was so nice and peaceful. We rented bikes which was 5 blocks away. One day we rode to the square which was tiring but fun! The house is nice. Lots of space for the 7 of us. The king size bed was comfy. My kids said the other beds were not as comfortable but they were worn out enough at the end of the day it didn’t matter as much. We spent most of our time outside in the back! The back is the best part of the stay. Lots of just hanging out, playing ping pong and swimming. We will stay here again.

The pool was horrible!

I sent an email a week before arriving. I wanted to guarantee with the cooler temperatures that the pool would be heated in at a acceptable temperature. I received an email back saying the pool was always kept at 85°. The pool was constantly cold and never got above 80 you can only keep the pool or the hot tub so it took us all day to get the hot tub warm and then it would cool down through the night. there was one day that it was hard that the adults got in the pool other than that we did not use the pool it was too cold. I got no valid response when I contacted the property company down there saying the pool was 81 and it was cooler and it was going to take longer this is unacceptable.

Annual Florida vacation for the ages

The outdoor space was amazing. We vacation to Florida every year with my entire family of 10. The pool and lanai were by far the best of any house we have stayed at on Ft Myers Beach. This was also our first year staying on a canal and the fishing was so good, staying on a canal will be a requirement every year. The house was manageable for a group our size. The 3rd bathroom being on the main floor was a slight inconvenience but definitely not a deal breaker. The TV's could use upgrading but who goes on vacation to watch TV.

Fantastisk bolig!

Skøn, stor villa med god plads og stor terrasse og pool! Tæt på strand - men lidt langt fra bycentrum. Der er dog restauranter i gåafstand. Kan varmt anbefales!!

Lovely House in Fort Myers Beach

The house was clean, very comfortable and well supplied with everything we needed. The grandkids enjoyed the table tennis table and fishing from the canal. The beach is beautiful, very safe for swimming and only a short distance from the house. We walked down to the beach on several evenings to view stunning sunsets. I would definitely recommend this house to others looking for a vacation rental on Fort Myers Beach.

Amazing property for an excellent family vacation

Our family of ten stayed at this gorgeous house for one week in August following a hectic week of parks in Orlando. The management company provided a friendly, excellent customer service responding to all correspondence promptly. The house exceeded all expectations and is fully equipped with everything you need to have a fabulous holiday. The house and bedrooms are all spacious and are furnished immaculately. We enjoyed spending our mornings at the beach (which is located at the end of the road) and then returning to this fabulous property to relax by the pool whilst the men cooked the steaks on the BBQ as the sun went down. The outdoor area and facilities are really amazing with sun loungers and beautiful dining furniture. The husbands and children also loved fishing at the back of the property. The only negative point is that a week really wasn't long enough! We would all love to return to this property sometime in the future.

Amazing!

This home was perfect for our stay. Everything was new and taken care of very well. The outdoor area of this home is the best! The pool is a great size and the hot tub was great for night time hanging out. The walk to the beach was two minutes! We loved everything about this house!
