Welcome to Garner Cove Lake House where you can watch the early morning mist rise off the lake and drink coffee from your own private dock. In the evening enjoy star gazing from the large flat grass yard on the lake. Kids and adults alike will enjoy fishing for Bass, Sun Perch, Crappie and Bluegill from the dock. In the spring fish nest is our quiet cove.

This private home is perfect for families. It is located right on Lake Lure with private lake access. You are 45 minutes to downtown Asheville, 35 minutes from Asheville Regional Airport and less than a 10 minute drive to the Town of Lake Lure, Chimney Rock and Chimney Rock State Park. Boat rentals, personal chefs, massages, and day trips will keep the most energetic vacationer ready to retire in the evenings. Lake Lure, Chimney Rock and Hickory Nut George are cool during the summer and outstandingly beautiful in the fall with the colors changing. While hiking in some of our nearby areas you see majestic 60 mile mountain views.

The home offers a circular paved yet very steep driveway that leads right to the front door for easy unloading of luggage and groceries. Parking is also available at the top of the property where well-lit stairs will lead you to the front door.

Soak in all that Garner Cove Lake House has to offer its guests, including 4BR 3BA, high speed internet, cable, and good cellular reception which is better than most homes in the area as coverage can be spotty in the mountains.

From the dock there are three steps that lead you into the lake. There is a nice deck with three lounge chairs and two umbrellas. Along the boathouse is a deck with 4 Adirondack chairs to enjoy the lake view with coffee, an evening drink, or charcuterie platter on the water.

Upon entering the house you’ll find a well equipped kitchen, cozy living and dining room. You’ll notice the sliding doors that lead to the lake view and screened in porch. The main screened in porch has 2 bar height tables and 8 chairs and two small buffet tables. There is a porch sitting area and just outside the patio is an outdoor grill. The deck area below is well adorned with an artisan fire dome, 4 Adirondack chair, and two rockers. This area is accessed from the stairs or direct from the game room area. Caution: there is a large ledge on the lower deck.

Amenities: 4 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, game room with pool table, pac man, karaoke machine, and wet bar.
