Cabin 6: This Listing is for a Three-Bedroom Cottage with one queen bed, one full bed, twin bunk beds, and a full sleeper sofa. This cottage can sleep up to 6 adults and 2 children.

This cottage is formerly the host's quarters in a line of eight vacation rental cabins right on the shore of Lake Huron. It is the perfect blend of vintage charm and modern convenience, with a fully furnished kitchen including a dishwasher, a full bathroom, living room with fireplace, and large bonus room surrounded by windows with a gorgeous view of the lake. This room opens to a beautiful deck over the water, with a built in fireplace and an incredible view of the lighthouse at the adjacent park! You can relax and watch the stunning sunrises and sunsets and view the freighters going by in between. Very little light pollution means the stargazing is out of this world!

All of our cabins have electricity, city water, heat and A/C, free WiFi, and TV! You will also find a refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, silverware, cookware, and outdoor gas grill. This 3-bedroom cabin also has a dishwasher.

The property is located adjacent to Lighthouse Park, and we have beautiful views of the Pte. Aux Barques Lighthouse as well as breathtaking sunrises and sunsets to be enjoyed with the relaxing sound of gentle waves.

We look forward to this trip every year. The location is great for just watching lake Huron. We decided to try the 3 bedroom cabin this year and it was amazing. The views from the back room was everything we hoped for.

Friends weekend

getaway to unwind and chill out

Perfect!! View of the lake was breathtaking. With a wonderful deck and loads of room, close enough to the water to almost touch the waves, it provides the perfect place to unwind. The interior of the cottage, although old, provided warm and comfortable feeling. Very happy we chose this cottage.

Summer at the Shore

Beautiful, private setting. Cabin was perfect! Roomy and quiet with an amazing view of the Lake and a short walk to Lighthouse Park.

Very nice, clean, and roomy

I loved this cabin. It was quaint like a cabin I used to stay in in the upper peninsula but with modern updates to the kitchen and bath. Very clean and well supplied with necessities!

The Perfect Holiday Hideaway

Our stay in Cabin #6 was incredible. The price and hospitality could not be beat for our week long vacation. The cabin is rustic but cozy and has all the amenities you could possibly need. Plenty to see and do in the area too. Plus you cannot beat the view of Lake Huron and the Pointe aux Barques Lighthouse just outside the window!

Huron City Visit

Doing a little autumn tour of the thumb area. Cottage was just what we needed: plenty of space, pleasant setting, comfortable bed and furnishings, newly redone kitchen & bathroom. We were able to relax and visit the area. Would recommend.

Work Trip

I was looking for a place to stay for the week as we worked in Bad Axe. Waaay nicer than a hotel! How nice it was after working all day to come back to this cute place. Hosts were amazing, and gave welcome advice for dining, etc.

Fall Getaway

We came up this time so my aunt from Florida could enjoy the fall weather. The weather was absolutely perfect every single day. The hosts are always attentive and provide a wonderful experience. We have stayed here before and will continue to do so. Hopefully more often. My family loves this place!

Majestic Lake Huron

For those who enjoy wave watching, star gazing, and Great Lakes freighters bingo, this is a great location! Every day brought new delights. The cabin is well cared for and comfortable. Location next to the lighthouse park is an added bonus. Highly recommend!

Great View

This is our second time staying at this place. We come in the winter just to take a weekend retreat, so it's very quiet when we're here. There is a nice back room to sit and watch the lake, where we usually eat and play cards. Place is perfect for what we need, and we'll most likelt be back again.

Cozy Cottage

Had a very relaxing New Year's weekend at this cozy cottage on Lake Huron. Very vintage with a lovely updated kitchen and bathroom. Loved the dining room area with windows overlooking the Lake. Woodburing fireplace was a plus! Great experience!

Amazing!!!

Everything about this place from cleanliness to having everything we needed to communication with the host to the spectacular view was THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! We were there at the end of February for a girl’s weekend and it was COLD- the host dropped off more firewood for us within minutes when we ran out so we could keep our fire going!!! We will DEFINITELY be back!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We fell in love with the views and the vintage feel of these cabins. The lighthouse, the freighters, and some of the best sunrises and sunsets you've ever seen. Also, no light pollution makes for incredible stargazing at night.
