You will not want to miss this view!

Cabin 7: This Listing is for a Two-Bedroom Cabin with two queen beds. This cabin can sleep up to 4 adults.

This is one of eight beautiful cabins between Port Austin and Port Hope, MI that are all just steps away from Lake Huron. Each cabin has a furnished kitchen, bathroom, dining area, living room, and bathroom with shower. Outside you will find an firepit, propane grill, picnic table and patio furniture. This cabin features an over-the-water deck with an incredible view of the lighthouse at the adjacent park!

These cabins were built in the 1940's so they have a vintage look and feel, but include all the modern conveniences of home, with electric, city water, heat and A/C, free WiFi, and TV!

The property is located adjacent to Lighthouse Park, and we have beautiful views of the Pte. Aux Barques Lighthouse as well as breathtaking sunrises and sunsets to be enjoyed with the relaxing sound of gentle waves.

Includes: Each cabin is furnished with a refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, silverware, cookware, , picnic table and outdoor gas grill.

Water: Lightkeepers has city water provided from the Port Hope municipal water system.

Internet Service/WIFI/ TV - Free internet, ROKU TV and WIFI. The cabins have flat screen HDTVs.

Restful Get Away

The cabin was cozy with a wonderful view of Lake Huron. The management quickly took care of a few glitches, as this was opening weekend. Close to trails and water. Loved our stay.

Cozy, updated 1940s log cabin in a gorgeous, serene location with spectacular views of Lake Huron. We saw an eagle, plover, cormorants and herons, and one day, a seaplane flew by! We loved the deck overlooking the lake, the dining area inside the cabin with the same gorgeous views, and the close proximity to Pointe Aux Barques Lighthouse. It was wonderful to watch the sun rise AND set! This was just the peaceful vacation we needed!

Quaint cabin with excellent view!

Went for long weekend in late September, very quiet, even with neighbors. Great view of lighthouse and practically lived on the deck overlooking Lake Huron the whole time!

Short weekend!

Our stay was short but sweet. The location is wonderful. We loved the cottages and the sunsets were amazing. Hosts were great! Cant wait to come stay again for a longer visit!

Really special location on Lake Huron…

Just past the tip of the thumb are the Lighthouse Keeper’s cabins… a magical location for dark night skies, incredible sunrises and spectacular views to beautiful Port Aux Basques lighthouse.

A Perfect Week

The cabin was cozy with a comfy bed and hot shower. The view was beautiful, the cabin was stocked with everything we need, and we found plenty of fun stuff to do within 30-90 minutes in all directions.

It was a short stay but it was very nice

It was clean and location was awesome and the view from the kitchen window and the deck was wonderful. We did pick the wrong time to visit there as it was cold so may visit again when warmer weather gets here

It was clean, hosts very prompt when we had a question. Had planned on 4 occupants but there were only 2. It would have been very crowded with 4. Bathroom could use a shower upgrade and the hot water limited. View was great, should have brought a pair of binoculars to see the ships. Thanks.

Exactly what was needed

I was looking for a simple lakeside cabin to relax and make music in, and that's exactly what I found. Simple peaceful days and not a worry to be had. Cannot wait to come back. This was extremely restorative.

Amazing views! Beautiful walking trail right out side your door. Quaint small towns just down the road. This is the perfect retreat from the crazy day to day hustle.

Wonderful Peaceful Getaway

Loved this property! Very cute cabins with wonderful views of the lake. We were able to catch a glimpse of the northern lights and enjoyed it so much we came back the following weekend for another stay! We will certainly be back! 10/10 reccomended!
