You can see the Pte Aux Barques Lighthouse from inside this beautiful cabin on the lake!

Cabin 8: This Listing is for a Two-Bedroom Cabin with one queen bed, one double bed, and a sleeper sofa. This cabin can sleep up to 6 adults.

This is one of eight beautiful cabins between Port Austin and Port Hope, MI that are all just steps away from Lake Huron. Each cabin has a furnished kitchen, bathroom, dining area, living room, and bathroom with shower. Outside you will find an firepit, propane grill, picnic table and patio furniture.

These cabins were built in the 1940's so they have a vintage look and feel, but include all the modern conveniences of home, with electric, city water, heat and A/C, free WiFi, and TV!

The property is located adjacent to Lighthouse Park, and we have beautiful views of the Pte. Aux Barques Lighthouse as well as breathtaking sunrises and sunsets to be enjoyed with the relaxing sound of gentle waves. At night, minimal light pollution makes for star-gazing that can't be beat!

​Includes: Each cabin is furnished with a refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, silverware, cookware, picnic table and outdoor gas grill.

Water: Lightkeepers has city water provided from the Port Hope municipal water system.

Internet Service/WIFI/ TV - Free internet, ROKU TV and WIFI. The cabins have flat screen HDTVs.

Cabin had everything we needed and wanted. We are seniors so spent most of our time on the deck reading. The views are spectacular. The host very friendly. We were very fortunate to have excellent Michigan weather. Was lovely. God willing we will be back next year.

We loved the location, beach frontage. There has been alot of updates for appearance. We put a blanket over the couch as it is very old . The shower could use a new insert. Already booked it for next year, iam sure it will be even better.

Excellent Property

This cabin met all the needs my sister and I had for our relaxation and fall photography get-away. It was right on the water, super clean, and comfortable. The owners were approachable, very helpful, and easy to work with. I look forward to visiting again soon.

Beautiful Rustic, Lakeside Cabin

My son and I wanted to do something different for Thanksgiving and this Lighthouse Cabin on Lake Huron was the perfect setting. We hiked, we enjoyed sunrises and sunsets and viewed the stars. The cabin was so cozy and the views were spectacular. Definitely recommend and can't wait to return!

We have been coming to this area since the 70s. We love this area because of the lighthouse and being right on the lake. We have been really have been enjoying the new hosts. Thanks for taking good care of us!

With a view like this, you won't skip breakfast at the table

Cozy little cabin with a fantastic view of the lighthouse and lake. The waves at night provide the perfect white noise for a long slumber. Hosts quickly responded to our questions.

Absolutely wonderful

Cozy cabin, loved the look as soon as we walked in the door. Super clean...very inviting. Relaxing feeling,everything we expected from the photos. Million dollar view. Definitely coming back.

Rustic oasis

This classic cottage made for a fantastic three-night stay on the shore of Lake Huron. We had all of the amenities that we needed to enjoy wildlife viewing, relaxation, and amazing sunrises. No need for us to add our photos: property photos are accurate.our hosts were friendly and helpful, and never steered us wrong. If we can come back, we will.

Beautiful property on the lake, great location next to county park. The condition and cleanliness were a little concerning. There was a dirty paper towel left on the toilet, cob webs were in every corner. My wife and I cleaned after we arrived and just sweeping the place we had a full dust pan. The flooring was busted up pretty bad so it made sweeping a little tricky. The shower drain was plugged with hair so bad it hardly drains, so I cleaned out the drain. This has been an issue for a while based on the condition of the shower floor. Other than having to clean the place it is a cozy place with a great view.
