Royal Oak Home, Johnson Ranch

We were pleasantly surprised at the accommodations' at the Royal Oak Home. The welcome table was personalized for ourselves and grandchildren's arrival. Tammy kept us updated on the Johnson Ranch meals and activities as well as other things to do. The location was perfect for Johnson Ranch activities and swimming pool accessibility. There is nothing we needed that wasn't supplied. It was a fun first time getaway for our trial retirement destination. We would go back again.

Extremely well appointed, comfortable home and Tammy was such a wonderful host to our family.

The home was perfect for our family of four. We have rented many homes and often the owners skimp on the quality of the mattresses. This house had by far the most comfortable beds which was a huge plus. The kitchen is fully appointed with everything you could ever need. Nice grill and patio. Back yard very Arizona natural and not manicured. We felt very relaxed and at home here. The only reason we give it 4 vs 5 stars is because of the area. Johnson Ranch is not a resort community as we had expected but more of a place families live. There are 3 “community pools” all of which are adequate but not great. Very very crowded with lots of kids lacking adult supervision , loud and chaotic which made it difficult to really relax. Tennis courts are nice but no fitness facility. San Tan Park is awesome for hiking and only 15 minutes away.. Grocery store very close and convenient. If you are a family with small kids on a budget this is a great place. If you have teenage children and are looking for more of a resort community, do not have that expectation here. We used the home as more of a home base and found ourselves driving at least 30-40 minutes to activities ( golf, dining, shopping..). In summary, the house and Tammy were great and we enjoyed our stay in the house but the surrounding area was not to our expectations.

Sunshine Sanctuary

Detail, details, details! Upon arrival Tammy will greet you and answer questions and has a binder guestbook with information about everything in the area. This house is truly a home, beautifully decorated through out, a kitchen supplied with more than you will ever need, 3 tvs, and a spacious secluded backyard filled with beautiful flowering plants, cacti, and fruit trees. The Lakeview pool and rec area is a 3 minute walk from the home and the golf course is just beyond that. The San Tan Regional Park is a 10 minute drive and has several hiking options and offers many special activities. Tammy, our landlord, is simply unbeatable. She is a 15 minute drive away and attends to any of your needs promptly and with a smile! Going out on the beautiful patio to have my morning coffee and listen to the many birds singing to great the sun was so peaceful. There are also walking and hiking clubs at Johnson Ranch and several different game groups offered. Great way to meet people! Tammy kept us posted on upcoming activities before our arrival and during our stay. This home is the perfect place to stay with all a person could need and more. This was our second year staying here and would return again in a heartbeat.

Highly Recommended Retreat with Soft Water🚿in the Desert🌵

Accommodate, Accommodate, Accommodate!!!!! What more can I say about Tammy's willingness to go above and beyond for our family. I was In need of a vacation rental with a water softner because I am highly allergic to hard water. Most owners responses were, "no, sorry we don't have a water softner", but not Tammy!!!! She checked all her homes to find one that had the already plumbed pipes and had a water softner installed in a few days. This is no easy task nor is it cheap!!!! Thank you so much for all your help and hard work to accommodate our families needs Tammy!!! We highly recommend this cozy home to all who want the assurance of a comfortable, stress free stay, where all your needs are met!!!!:)

Peaceful Paradise with a personal Angel

Stayed for 3 months. The home is spacious and provided us with more than we could ask for. The huge backyard is a botanical garden with fruit trees. We had fresh squeezed orange juice daily. We were a short walk from the pool and golf course and have made several snowbird friends in this wonderful community of Johnson Ranch. A big plus the San Tan Mountains are but two miles away with several hiking trails with majestic sunrises/sunsets and activities. Tammy(landlord) is an Angel, providing us with surprise gifts, friendly updates on activities, and so much more I cannot begin to give her the praises she deserves, but if we ever called she immediately responded with her typically cheerful energy. She so made us feel at home-not renting. I unfortunately broke my leg during our stay and Tammy went out of her way to help out and juggled her rentals so we were able to extend our stay in the Royal Oak home until I was able to safely travel. We loved it so much we are returning in 2016 and added an extra month to our stay!

This was a return trip for us in one of Tammy's lovely homes! This time we stayed 10 days in the Blackfoot Daisy Home. She was so flexible and helpful as always so that we could come down and watch the Seahawks play in their wonderful sport facility. These people know how to tailgate!!! The home was clean and quiet and great jumping off location to everything. And if you don't know where to go or stay just look in the book Tammy leaves for you. From where to shop or eat or play, it's all there. Or do absolutely nothing but relax. You will not be disappointed! Can't wait to come back. Thanks Tammy! :)

Perfect home, helpful manager

We stayed in this home for one week in April with our four little ones and had an absolutely wonderful time. The kids loved having marshmallows over the fire and our day trips to ghost towns, the phoenix zoo, Sedona park, flagstaff, the superstitious mountains, and the apache trail. The house is well appointed and Tammy, the owner, went way out of our way to help us with every little thing. The pools are lovely and warm and there is a good running trail through the golf course up the mountains. The backyard is beautifully landscaped with geckoes darting across the walls. The home is definitely in suburbia, which means it's spacious and quiet and convenient, but it is also a bit of a drive to most places. We didn't mind the driving because the baby got to nap and there was no traffic, and the surrounding natural beauty was still all -pervasive. The only criticism we had was that the "Ranch" area was not very pedestrian friendly, and walking the kids to the nearby pool felt like a game of frogger with no crosswalks to be seen. Overall, this house was one of the nicest vacations stays we've had, and the owner took care of every detail, even dropping off toys and easter candy for the kids. She is a gem and so is her home. Highly recommend this place for anyone.

A Snowbird's blessing

We stayed for 3 months in the Blackfoot Daisy home. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 month getaway from the snow and cold. Tammy, the Owner came over several times bringing new items for the house or planting new flowers in the yard. She also came several times to do weed control in the yard. Tammy really takes great care of her homes and wants them to be look nice. We really enjoyed the backyard and spent a lot of our time there. The house is very nicely decorated and we felt at home as soon as we got there. We appreciated that Tammy kept us updated on the events at Johnson Ranch. Tammy was very nice to deal with and we look forward to our return next winter.

Perfect for Family

We have been vacationing to AZ for the past 10 years. We have stayed in several locations..Tempe, Mesa, Scottsdale and now Queens Creek. This home was perfect for our family..myself, my husband our daughter and our grown daughter and her husband. Everyone had their own bedroom and 3 tv's to enjoy. We are avid sports people so we had March Madness on all the time when we were there. My husband was thrilled to have a grill to use and would pick oranges to make fresh squeezed orange juice each morning. Tammy left essentials we needed and that was great. We did shop at Fry's nearby and it is conveniently located to stores and the pool. Beautiful landscape to enjoy also. The only minus I would say is if you plan to spend a lot of time in Phoenix, Scottsdale, etc. it is about a 20-30 minute drive. We were fine with it but if you attend a lot of spring training baseball game it is a drive. Thank you again Tammy for the book with all the area info and the goodies you left for our arrival. My daughter's also thought it was rather amazing to see the Dust Storm even though it really didn't affect this area.

A Warm Welcome to Arizona!

My husband and I recently stayed in this comfortable and clean home in the San Tan Valley, near Phoenix AZ. Tammy welcomed us warmly to her home with a gift basket and other goodies. She was very professional and well-organized in the entire process of renting and communicating with us. A binder with information about local restaurants and shopping and medical facilities, etc is on the dining table. In addition, Tammy sends emails about local activities and special events that one might want to enjoy. As I mentioned, the house was very clean and comfortable, much more relaxing than a hotel room. The neighborhood is quite pleasant, with a pool and a golf course within easy walking distance. We highly recommend this home or any home that Tammy rents, knowing that she is an attentive and responsible homeowner who cares for the comfort of her renters and for the integrity of her homes. She is a delight to work with, friendly and considerate and professional.

Great Vacation

Tammy is the best hostess ever!!! We stayed at a property she was caring for, the house was spectacular,spacious and super clean. Everything you would need was there plus some extra treats. Something had gotten lost while we were there and Tammy found it and mailed it to us. We enjoyed meeting and working with Tammy, would definitely stay at one of her properties again. Thank-you Tammy

Wonderful house, wonderful hostess

We just returned home from a week in Tammy's Royal Oak home. The house was beautifully decorated, and plenty spacious enough for our family of six. Tammy was thorough, thoughtful, and kind throughout the whole rental process. After an entire long day of driving, flying, and waiting in airports, it was so refreshing to arrive at our "home-away-from-home," and find that Tammy had left a case of cold water in the fridge, some treats on the table, and a discount card to the local grocery. She gave us recommendations for things to do and places to visit in the area. We had fantastic weather, and the children enjoyed the swimming pool so much. We highly recommend this home, and this hostess! Thank you again, Tammy. Many blessings to you and your beautiful family.

Awesome Vacation Home

My husband and I did not stay at this home but did stayed at Tammy’s home on Blackfoot Daisy Drive in Johnson Ranch, Queen Creek the entire month of April 2013 and had a very pleasant experience. We arrived on Easter Sunday and were able to check in early because the previous guests had departed early. We were very grateful because we were able to unpacked our car and freshen up before joining our friends for dinner. Upon entering the home the smell of lavender hung gently in the air. On the table sat a chocolate Easter bunny with red and white wine as our welcoming gift. There was an assortment of water, cola and beer in the refrigerator. The home was nicely decorated and the care taken with it, both inside and outside, is pleasing to the eye. We enjoyed many warm evenings grilling outside and sitting under the tented gazebo with rays of light shining down upon us from the chandelier above. Tammy is a wonderful host and made sure we had everything needed to enjoy the time spent at her home. She also provided us with restaurant menus and travel brochures of things to see and do in AZ. We took in a Diamond Backs Baseball Game (awesome covered dome), a Coyotes hockey game (they won), an overnight to Bisbee stopping in Tombstone along the way (got to do this once), an overnight trip to Sedona (a must), the Phoenix Botanical Gardens (amazing varieties of cacti and desert plants) and a Dolly Riverboat cruise (fun). We are not golfers nor did we use any of the pools but they are at your fingertips if you enjoy golfing or swimming. Tammy provided us with pool passes had we needed them. We did go to Western Night at the Johnson Ranch “Terrace” Clubhouse to eat and took pleasure in listening to county and western singer Mary Hoffman. The fish and chips we ordered for dinner was tasty and the entertainment was free so be sure to do this at least one weekend while staying here. Make reservations early so you can sit under the covered patio. Otherwise take an umbrella and lawn chair if you are sitting on the lawn. We would not hesitate to stay in any of Tammy’s homes and hope to join her again next year if all goes well on our end.

Wonderful owner/wonderful house

I cannot say enough good things about our stay. My family and I came in last minute for a family emergency and Tammy was so flexible and easy to work with. She made a difficult situation so much easier. Her home is very comfortable and clean. It is close to many stores and we had accesses to the pool and other amenities that the area offered. It is also an easy 20 minutes up to Mesa, which was super helpful. I highly recommend renting this home. We will definitely do business with Tammy again.

The Cheyenne home was perfect for our big family's overflow sleeping needs...

... during a family event at a nearby relative's home. The bed was so good that I had a hard time getting out of it in the morning :) My 6'7" husband raved about the super-high showerhead in the master bath. Nice home layout, beautiful neighborhood. Cheyenne Home

We recently stayed in one of Tammy's homes for 2 1/2 months. We found the home just as described, both beautifully decorated and comfortable. Tammy is a super hostess, and could not be more attentive in any way. She looked after any concerns immediately, and we found her to be a very helpful and generous person to deal with. We highly recommed any of Tammy's homes and know that there could never be any disappointment. Hopefully we can return again to enjoy more of the same. Thanks Tammy!

Johnson Ranch Rental Amazing, Beautiful and Trouble free stay! Highly Recommend!!

First off, Tammy is an amazing hostess.. she went out of her way, above and beyond to make sure that all of our needs and requirements were met, as well as answer any qustions we had about the area. We had a family of 5 and this beautiful rental made it very nice for us to stay as a family together in the same house. The home was very clean and the house is well kept. One of our family members accidently left a personal item behind and Tammy was kind and honest enough to let us know she found it, and returned with no problems. If you are looking for an honest rental, and an honest person to deal with while your staying in Az... Tammy is your girl! Thank you again Tammy and we will be back to stay again! Everything we needed, groceries, restaraunts, etc were very close and een walking distance if we wanted.

Blackfoot Daisy house

We stayed in Tami's Blackfoot Daisy rental most of the month of November. It was super comfortable with very nice furnishings. It was close to everything we wanted to do in the area. We were very impressed with the way Tami greeted us when we got there and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely be coming back and would recommend it to anyone looking for something in this area. Thanks Tami!

Memorable!

We arrived at this beautiful property in the middle of summer in 114 degree heat. We were SO excited to have the pool just around the corner! Tammy thought of every single thing we might need and more! She even had our girls favorite treats on the table the day we arrived which was very exciting for our 10; 9 and 6 year old girls. She gave us all the info we needed to get the girls enrolled in school there while we were in transition and told us about discounts and ways to save us money. We didn't bring a lot with us, so she stocked the house with some kids books; dolls and toys which kept the girls entertained. We also went swimming every day. The house was super nice and clean with everything you might need right at your convenience! The beds were very soft and comfortable and we loved the ceiling fans in every room! Tammy made sure that we were taken care of, and went out of her way to make us comfortable. She is truly a friend and gem of a person. We can't wait to go back! Thanks Tammy!

The Property Manager, Tammy, deserves our personal gratitude for making our stay in Arizona comfortable, rewarding, and memorable! She was alway available, friendly and responsive. Most of all she was a Gracious Host we will not forget! She is honest and fair as are her rental rates. The home we rented from her was very clean, well maintained, nicely furnished, and move in ready! We highly recommend her properties and her services to anyone and will not hesitate to contact her again when planning our next visit.

Listing description is very accurate as to location and photos reflect the beauty and type of housing. Outdoors was very well maintained; some indoor cleaning required completion; home is very comfortable for families/groups as there are comfortable beds and lots of room. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Owners were excellent to deal with when contacted re; needs for children and resolving problems. We would recommend to friends/ family. This home is within walking distance to JR golf course/pools/playgrounds and walking/biking areas.

We specifically chose this location because we wanted to enjoy the Grand Canyon State and walk just 3 minutes to the 18 hole championship Johnson Ranch golf course, golf club, pool, tennis courts, playground, shopping and restaurants all on a beautiful and quiet panoramic backdrop of the majestic San Tan Mountains.  There are more than 300 days of sunshine here!  All you need is your golf clubs and your swim suit!  There is so much to take in! October through May is the best time to come!

We own and personally manage our vacation home on the desirable golf course side plus we are very unique in that we live just 15 minutes away to provide service that others just can't when they own and live so far away! It is a treat to offer to welcome you upon arrival and provide a personal tour! It is a memory to cherish to drive through the Sonoran Desert up to the towering 3 Saguero cactus in our front yard that grace our desert landscaping and cul-de-sac lot in the featured home.  It is also fun to entertain in the large great room with new custom selected furniture plus enjoy the new 20" x 20" porcelain upgraded tile laid in a custom diagonal pattern throughout the entire home with a custom medallion to welcome you right at the front entrance and then gaze straight ahead at the cactus garden and red boganvillia's and red oleanders plus barbecue outside in the back patio with the 2 outdoor ceiling fans and new patio furniture and grill!  Try Arizona's citrus by picking oranges or pears right in the backyard or consider relaxing in the outdoor sleeper sofa under the patio. Perhaps put a real log on the fire pit and roast a marshmallow or two! You won't want to leave! All four of our homes offer a KING in the master plus Queen in the second bedroom and something unique in each third bedroom plus something special and different in each backyard! Great for family reunions, weddings, Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings plus newcomers who want to check out the area...we're SO close to the main pool and amenities...you'll love it!
