Beautiful location! The interior needs a little maintenance-no screen on front door and large wasp nest in the enclosed porch. The baseboard radiator fell off the wall within minutes of us checking in, the microwave handle piece fell off. Otherwise excellent. The beds are comfy, fresh soft linens. Close to everything

Perfect location

Across the street from the beach! Very clean. Only snag was we couldn’t get into the apartment when we got there and had a hard time getting ahold of someone. The code we were emailed wasn’t right. Other than that, perfect!

Perfect end to summer

We had an absolutely lovely week in this home! It was cool enough while we were in York that it wasn’t too hot for us, I can see how a very hot week might be a bit uncomfortable since there isn’t AC. We’ve stayed in 4 different properties on Long Sands over the last 4 years, and this one was our favorite - even with the 3 flights of stairs! The view is second to none, and the location is fantastic. I absolutely loved having morning coffee on the balcony, sitting and listening to the ocean at night, etc. One final note, the kitchen is a little lacking in some utensils, you may want to pack along any must-haves. Overall, we soaked up every minute and hope to stay here again!

Need to have air conditioning

It was not as clean as I hoped. I cleaned when I got there. Also, there were no fans so I am grateful we brought our own. It got very hot. Need some a/c for sure. Even on the cooler days it was too hot. Had a hard time believing 3rd floor did not have a/c. Unfortunately will not return to this property.

Not a great stay this time

We stayed here four years ago and had an excellent experience. This one wasn't as good. We were advised on check in that the screen in the front door was broken and "is in process of being repaired." By the time we left, it hadn't been fixed. It would have been a minor issue, but there were multiple active wasps' nests in the hallway. I made the manager aware of this immediately upon check in late Saturday. Late Friday afternoon, they finally sent someone to spray. So, for the entire week we couldn't open the door to cross-ventilate the unit. The unit itself is in a great location with a great view, but it has deteriorated since we stayed last. It wasn't especially clean, the toilet barely flushes, the pillows were paper thin. The info sheet says there's a storage unit downstairs and the key is hanging by the door....no key. We always enjoy York Beach no matter what, but we didn't have a good experience here.
