Everything We Could Ask For

The house was super clean and had everything we could ever need for our vacation. One of the best places we have ever stayed. It's in a perfect location on the island with easy beach access. There are many restaurants within a walkable distance as well.

Great spot—we’ll definitely be back next year! The listing was accurate, and the house had everything we needed and more. We had a great stay.The only minor feedback I’d offer is that the microwave needed a quick cleaning when we arrived, and we noticed a few dead bugs on the floor. It wasn’t a big deal, and we took care of it ourselves. Overall, these were very small issues that didn’t take away from our experience. We’d happily stay here again!

The only thing we needed to do was buy food for the fridge. All other necessities were provided by hosts. The pool cleaners were friendly, and discreet. Extremely enjoyable and leisurely stay was had by all.

There were so many nice conveniences. Aluminum foil, plastic wrap, charcoal, fire starter, and a basket of goodies the hostess left. We were such a short walk to the beach. We really had a lovely time at South Padre Island.

Booking this for our family vacation was the BEST decision we could have made! The house was immaculate, everything was extremely clean. The outside patio area was so nice in the evenings, we got to watch sports or play music on the TV, while playing cards with our parents. The pool was also extremely clean, and perfect for night swims! You truly do not realize by the listing how close you are to the beach! A few steps to the end of the street is the beach access, with a short stroll down a walkway. There are also so many restaurants, and the perfect ice cream place within walking distance! Very quiet, peaceful neighborhood as well. Overall I wish I could rate this 10000/10. Great vacation spot, and we will be booking here when we visit in the future!

Fantastic Getaway!

Dean and Lynda are terrific hosts that respond quickly when messaged and are more than happy to accommodate! They have a wonderful beach home located very close to the ocean and beach access; it is such a short walk, I can’t emphasize this enough! They provide a wagon and beach toys for the kids, which we utilized everyday! Their home is set up very nice, with the beach and heated private pool in mind. We also loved their outdoor space next to the pool for lounging, that included fans to stay cool in that South Padre mid-day heat. They have all the amenities and creature comforts a person or large family needs to unwind on a vacation getaway! I cannot recommend them enough and our family will certainly be back!

An outstanding experience at Just Beachy Campeche!

This vacation home rental was just what we needed for our grandsons. Plenty of space for us to enjoy our stay without tripping over each other. Having the private pool was a homerun for the boys, and we were just a short walk from the beach...so they had the best of both worlds. The house had everything we needed, with some surprising added amenities like life jackets, beach toys, TVs everywhere, and a fully stocked kitchen. Located close to several eating establishments, this home away from home was perfect for our much-needed getaway. Highly recommended!

Wonderfully clean and nice place to stay. We walked everywhere. Cute beachy decor, comfortable beds and so many extra touches to make us feel welcome. Everything you need and close to everything. The beach is great for walking and the home is so close to the beach. Grocery, fun bars with music and shops within walking distance. Lynette's communication and thoughtfulness was outstanding. I research endlessly and it pays to do so. We found a charming home with a great patio in back with a pool and comfortable seating. We would play games out here as it was a great place to relax and enjoy. Thank you! We plan to return!

Great Stay!

This place was amazing! The pool was so nice, & we made great use of the barbecue provided making steaks for dinner one night. The inside is clean and the hosting is great with complimentary soap, shampoo, conditioner, snacks, seasonings, and more! Definitely recommend, we could’ve stayed here forever!

Wonderful stay!

Definitely a gem of a place for a beach vacay! Townhouse matched the pics exactly except it felt even bigger in person. We had everything we could need! Lynnette supplied all the necessities as well as a surprise basket of snacks! We enjoyed the pool and the close proximity to beach access. It fit all of our needs! We had an amazing stay!

We took our children and grandchild for six nights. This house is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need. The pool is just what we needed after our Long Beach days. We will definitely be back again.

I was prepared for an amazing time, but this property & hosts put our stay way over the top. Perfect location, clean, spacious & perfect outdoor space with pool. Will definitely be back.

We’re lifelong residents of North Texas who always dreamed of retiring in the Colorado mountains—a place we've cherished since childhood vacations. But everything changed after a work-related conference brought us to South Padre Island (SPI).

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated. SPI offered something we hadn’t expected: crystal-clear blue water and soft sandy beaches that far exceed anything we’d experienced on other Texas coastlines. It didn’t take long for us to realize—this could be our dream retirement destination.

That first visit to South Padre Island opened our eyes to a new kind of paradise. We fell in love with the island's charm, natural beauty, and vibrant community—and knew this was where we wanted to build our next chapter.
