All-Around Fabulous!

Our family of four stayed here for a week and loved it. The location is excellent, and the place has everything a family could need. The kitchen is well stocked, as well as the utility closet. We hope to stay here again in the future!

Paradise on a budget

The price of the unit was well within our budget. The living area surpassed out expectations. The kitchen was well stocked with utencils, pots, and pans. I would stay here again.

Great location!

Aside from finding hair in the bed and towels, the stay was great. The location is perfect for accessing the beach and bay areas, nicely maintained, and stocked with beach goodies. Whenever there was an issue or question, the resolution was always a text away. I'd definitely stay there again.

Great property in great location

Good unit for 2 kid family. Great pool and hot tub on gulf side. A bit of a walk to beach across street but worth it. Unit was comfortable and clean. Only downer was bad signal for all three TVs that was not addressed during our stay.

Very pleased!

I read some bad reviews about checkin and customer service but we had a wonderful experience from before check in to check out! Very impressed with Vacasa's response time! We had a little issue with the Club's hot tub being under maintenance and we were very pleased with how vacasa handled it. The texting customer service and housekeeping is a huge plus! Definitely recommend Vacasa!

Palm Bay Club

The property is amazing... always has been. Condo was exactly as expected since we have stayed at many different condos on site. Our only complaint is that we had no working TV/cable. We contacted Vacasa day 2 and I was texting with 2 different employees of Vacasa. After 5 days, still no working TV's. I asked for some compensation back for the inconvenience and havent heard back on that.

Great place!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at the Palm Bay club. The rental company provided such detailed instructions in such a professional manner. The only glitch was the street address provided was actually the property's office which made finding the unit a bit confusing. That was my only gripe. Otherwise, fantastic!

Beautiful condo. Had a great time. Response to a stopped bathroom sink was immediate. Easiest checkout process ever. One glitch is that the address for the condo is 5961 Midnight Pass Rd. Not 5960- that is the office. The condo is across Midnight Pass from the beach. DID NOT MATTER. Lots of parking on the beach side at this resort. We loved our time here! Highly recommend.

Avoid this Condo....

Condo was in need of a complete refresh. Certainly not worth the money we were spending. AC went out 2nd day we were there. Many other broken items etc.... No help from onsite staff at Palm Bay Club. VRBO switched us to Vacasa. Absolutely horrible. No help what so ever. We left after two day of a five day booking.

Terrible rental company

Do not rent through Vacasa! They ruined our entire vacation. Upon checking in we needed a gate code to enter the property. Spoke to half a dozen people of which none could assist us!! Said they would get back to us. Never heard back that day. They even went as far to tell us there was no gate on the property!! We were there- we were not making that up!! Also had blood on towels, and property showed signs of poor maintenance. Biggest downfall was the property management company for sure! Don’t rent through them! Plenty others in the area!

Oh, let me start out by saying this particular unit was managed by Vicasa, not VRBO . We have never had an issue with VRBO and recommend them constantly to friends. This was our fourth visit to palm bay club and we will come again but we will NOT book through Vacasa. We arrived early and requested early access. We were told no. We sat in front of the unit from two o'clock until four o'clock and could not understand why we could not get in early. The unit was obviously ready for occupancy as nobody went in or out while we were waiting.When we opened the door to the unit there was a musty odor which was easily handled by us by opening up front and back doors, which should have been done before we arrived.The next morning we went to make breakfast. Both frying pans were damaged and basically unusable. We called, and we were told we would have replacements nexy day...never happened. We did get a call the night before our departure.Telling us that the frying pans were now available.Who needed them?We're leaving the next morning at seven a m. Bathroom in the primary bedroom had no mat nor non slip on the tub floor very dangerous.I will be back to this property, but I will make sure that it is being managed by VRBO not Vacasa and I will be sure to make all of my friends double check as well.

Good enough

Our family had a good 7-day stay in December. The property location is fantastic.....just a 5-minute walk away from the beach. First the Palm Bay Club: The location and overall property is great. It's hard to keep up these older properties that were built decades ago, but the Palm Bay Club is doing a good job. The front desk was friendly. The security patrols were friendly. Pools and hot tub nicely maintained. The beach service is great, where someone brings out lounge chairs on a 4-wheeler for you. Tennis court surface is good but the net cords are held together with zip-ties. The fitness center is small but functional. You do need to make a $40 cash deposit for a key to the fitness center. There are security gates to access parking and pools. MAKE SURE YOU GET A GATE CODE FROM VACASA. We spent the first two days asking security every time we wanted to go to the pool or the beach because we did not have a code. Vacasa got us one (thank you!) but just make sure you have one before you go. Second the condo: It was fine. It looked like no one had been there for quite some time. It's definitely a rental, somewhat worn and in need of some paint and furniture updates. Beds were comfy. All appliances were working even if not cosmetically intact. No bath towels, so we just used the beach towels provided. There is a closet full of beach stuff: boogie boards, sand chair, sand toys, wagon go haul stuff to the beach. TV and internet all worked well. Overall a very average rental condo that is part of an excellent complex in a fantastic location.

Welcome to the condo from the last century

First, the PROS: The pools and beach are lovely, the on-site staff super friendly and helpful. The location is pretty good, and one can walk to the village or hop on the trolley. The area offers lots of things to do, eg the Saturday Farmer's Market in Sarasota, the Dali museum in St. Petersburg, The Mote Aquarium in Lido, St. Armands Circle with great restaurants and shopping, nearby Venice Beach, etc. Now the CONS: The condo is a sea of brown and beige furniture and walls, as well as drab and depressing wall art throughout. Not what I want to be surrounded by for our 3-week winter getaway! The master mattress is old and bumpy, the bedding and blankets outdated with questionable cleanliness. We bought a comforter at Tuesday Morning and used that instead. There are no tub mats, which we also purchased ourselves. Nothing like stepping out of a shower and and onto a cold tile floor. Weird and uncomfortable faux leather couches in living room (one is a sleeper couch and super high). No privacy sheer curtains in living and bedrooms (neighbors across can literally see into the space). Rusty and shredded outdoor furniture, pretty uncomfortable. Non-working screen doors, one of which was simply placed outside on the balcony (which we put back on its track ourselves, barely fitting). Dirty utility closet with the vacuum in the middle of a sandy beach wagon with toys covered in sand, thus unusable. Completely worn off faucets in kitchen and bathrooms. Missing lightbulbs bathrooms due to age of fixtures (no longer available). Chipped toilet seats, toddler size, same goes for bathroom vanities. Kitchen sink in disgusting condition (shrimp peel stuck to drain cover and smelly when we arrived). Found corn chip and goldfish cracker on kitchen floor. Scuffed walls in bathroom, stained wall in master bedroom. Super old appliances... make sure not to be home when dishwasher runs, as it is super loud. Luckily, our other 2 guests couldn't make it and we didn't have to use the 2nd bedroom. In conclusion and in my opinion, this condo should not be rented out until it is fully renovated and refurbished, inside and out.

Fun family trip

CONS: The condo it’s self wasn’t bad. Could use some new inner liners in the shower, these had mold all over them. The bathroom faucets could have the lime removed from them. Not the condos fault, but we were stuck in the elevator and had to call the fire department to get us out. Fire department showed up in less than 10 minutes. Exterminator showed up at 08:30am when everyone was still asleep. The door lock code was extremely long. PROS: Condo had some beach toys, wagon, chairs, and we left our Umbrella for the next family. It has a grill area by the pool. There were two pools, bicycles, and private area of the beach. Also very close to water sport rentals and grocery store. Two twin sized beds, one king, and a blow up mattress if needed. Extra blankets and pillows in the closet. Wi-Fi worked great. Overall I would suggest this condo to my friends!

Good choice on a great beach!

The condo was as represented. Beds were comfortable and it was very clean. Cable tv and wifi worked well. The pools were very nice. The location is excellent and we had no trouble finding chairs down at the beach but we tended to go later in the day, so I don't know how it is first thing. Using the Siesta shuttle to get to the Village or walking to the Village were both great. I would definitely stay here again.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is located in palm bay club, in the bay area... the club is really nice, great swimming pool and jacuzzi with great view!!! On the other hand, the apartment is really poorly maintained... the are no sun blocking curtains so at 6.30 you wake up because the apt is too bright (and although we repeatedly asked if they could fix the issue, no one did anything about it), carpets are really dirty and stained, main bedroom matress ir really bumpy and worn out, same with MBR pillows and bed linen, windows and balcony doors get easily stuck, there are no placemats o table cloths, many decorating pillows are old and worn out, main door needs painting, bathrooms have half of the light bulbs burned... and could keep going.The first day they sent someone to help us because the sofa bed wasnt working and there were no beach umbrella or broom.It is s real shame... they should invest a little money on it and it would make it a much more pleasant place to stay in!!!!

Access to shuttle

It was a little small and outdated. Had problems using the Television in the Master room. Property Manager were not that helpful far as Transportation Shuttle information. Overall, love the location and my husband wants to come back again.

Thus unit was nice. It close to the pool and the bay was beautiful! Our unit was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.
