Newly renovated cottage with 55 ft of lake front

Great cottage for a large family (or two small families) on the beautiful Higgins lake. Private lakefront beach with sandy bottom on the property as well as a hoist for your boat, and complimentary pedal pontoon, two paddle boards, and two kayaks. Quiet neighborhood south of Higgins lake, ideal for families with kids. The house is newly renovated, including new floor, appliances, and furniture. The house does not have AC, but there are ceiling and window fans in every room. The dock will be out by mid may and will be removed mid October.

We loved staying here. There is so many things in the house that you dont have to pack much. We wish there were kitchen towels, batteries to replace in the remotes and it would be nice to have more then 1 tv, but everything else was fantastic. Our kids loved the indoor and outdoor toys. We will definitely look into booking again. Communication was great as well. Thanks for a great stay!

Even Better The Second Time!

This was our 2nd visit and it was fantastic! Clean, clean! The weather could not had been better. The house has so many wonderful extras - our grands LOVED the kayaks and went out many times a day. Lovely decorating and very comfortable for families. Thank you for accommodating with the ramp and handrail. Owners were easy to communicate with! Can't wait to go back!

Vacation

The owners of this property thought of everything to make our week stay so incredible. The cleanliness of the cabin , the beautiful little beach, the kayak, paddleboat and little things like toys for the kids made our vacation wonderful. We are definitely going to book again. Great Place

This property is amazing. It has everything we need. Location is perfect for our needs. Secluded but close to the thins we need. Ana and Juan are very easy to work with and appreciated them being flexible. The 3 in 1 pool table provides great entertainment for all. This is our 2nd rental here and will be up for a 3rd.

Clean, Location, Location, Location

This is one of the most thoughtful homes we have ever stayed in. First off, super clean and incredible location. The added touches of fans and lights for the bunk beds, games for all ages, extra beach towels, the list goes on and on. We want to come back for a month next summer! Thank you for an awesome trip. PS Beds are super firm and nice!

Higgins Lake Cottage.

Overall, 4 star rental and would rent again. Great location. Only negatives: 1) the kitchen had to be cleaned upon our arrival; and 2) the yard needed mowed.

Fun on Higgins Lake

We really enjoyed the location and amenities of this property! Close to some great hiking spots and ice cream shops, and the lake itself is beautiful. The game table was especially fun for the kids on rainy days, and our entire family enjoyed the SUPs.

Very nice stay

We had a great time staying at this property. We were able to bring a small boat and were allowed to use the boat lift at the dock, which was very convenient, especially since we had heavy winds and fairly large waves. The property outside nicely maintained, firewood was well-stocked, and the grill worked very well. We had a great weekend and even were lucky enough to see the northern lights over the lake.

Great trip

Stayed here for group trip. The house was very well stocked and spacious for our group of 8. We had a great time. The boys really enjoyed the 3in1 activity table. Thanks for hosting.

Such a fun beautiful trip.

From the moment we arrived until the day we left it was clean, easy, comfortable and so much fun. A nice little toy area for my 3yr old Granddaughter and the perfect little beach for her to play with Sand toys. We made some great memories and are def going to try to reserve for next year. 😃

A great time was had by all!

We had a women's week at the cottage, and had a great time. The location is great, and the place had everything we needed. The AC was not an issue for us, lots of windows and fans. The view of the lake and Treasure Island is gorgeous. The South Higgins State Park nearby was excellent.

Hi!

The house and yard worked great for our family, and for friends that visited. However, upon arriving and entering, i was very unhappy with the cleanliness. I spent 2-2.5 hrs cleaning everything in the kitchen, including washing down cabinets and such of past food spills down everything, throwing out leftover food in refrigerator and cabinets so we could make room for our own stuff. Inside cabinets were filthy and had so much of someone elses pantry items that I definitely would not use! Also cleaned the bathrooms (including shower floor) before setting up our things. Floors in the entire house were barely swept and no vacuuming was done on rugs. I highly recommend not having so many of your personal chochkeys sitting around, as it takes up space that we could use as renters with all of our necessities. Plus, children love to touch and play with everything The outside area is very condusive, as there is a nice size deck and large outdoor table and chairs. It would be nice if the trees by the table were trimmed back a little so we didnt get hit on the head with them! The little beach area was great for the kids, and the lawn size is great for playing games. The pedal boat could use alot of maintenance, as it seems to be falling apart. Thank you for having a descent washer and dryer...very important. The large picnic style table in the dining area is wonderful, too!
