Lovely Stay

Clean, comfy, and stocked with everything you need! The beds were specially comfortable. On a busy road, but close to everything. We definitely will stay again.

Higgins Hideout

We all had a great time staying at this cottage.It was very clean, had everything we needed and lots of room for our family of seven. The location is great, close to everything. We hope to return again.

Long Weekend at Higgins

Family and friends drove up to spend a long weekend near Higgins Lake. We’ve headed up north for years and have never stayed near Higgins. Beautiful lake! The house is clean and comfortable and a relaxing space for our home base. Great kitchen. We would stay here again. Thank you for sharing it.

We loved everything about our stay. The location was convenient to make more memories at Higgins. Home was clean and roomy for our group. We could tell that every detail was thought of by the host. This place is a gem. Highly recommend.

Perfect overnight

The house was perfect for family friends staying together. Location allowed for trip down au sable river and is close to multiple places to eat. We enjoyed the fire pit and s’mores ingredients the host left. Beds were comfy, house was clean, Tara was very responsive to all our needs. Would stay again for sure.

Very nice

nice long driveway to accommodate multiple vehicles. Beds were comfy. House was large enough for 5 big guys and all of our riding gear.

They thought of everything

We had an amazing stay! The owner thought of everything! From the nightlights all throughout the home, the box fans, the cute s’mores kit, shower with removable handle to help shower the kiddos and the kcups. So many great little touches! We stay at vacation rentals 2-4 times a year and are quite picky! We would stay here again without hesitation. Wonderful location and the beds were also super comfy. Thank you so much for a great mini vacation!

Family reunion

This is a wonderful place. Great space, clean and homey. Great location. The kitchen is well stocked and CLEAN. Tara was very responsive to any questions I had. A pleasure to work with. I will definitely be renting this property again. We had a wonderful stay. Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

Wonderful Stay

Wonderful place to stay. Everything feels new. One suggestions. You need washcloths most don’t pack those. Also I would add a plastic pitcher or too in the kitchen along with a hand mixer. I’ve stayed at many Vrbo these always there.

Hello, we are a family of four that likes to vacation up at Higgins Lake. We just recently bought this cottage because of its modern amenities and thought other families would like to enjoy it as well.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This beautiful home is very modern and will feel like you are at home. It has all stainless steel appliances, a reverse osmosis system, and a water conditioning system to make the home easier for you to enjoy. It also has a whole house generator so if you are at the house during a storm you won't lose power and the A/C will still work in the summer months. This house features three bedrooms with 2 King beds and 2 Queen beds.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

You have a lot of privacy at this house when you stay here. You can enjoy the wooded lot behind us when you have a bonfire at night. Then you can rent a boat and launch it at the public boat launch at South State Park 3 min drive away.
