Perfect Forest Therapy Location - 3 acres - Geodesic Dome - Find your Peace !

Unique gem, Geodesic Dome cabin on 3 acres, nestled in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. Wildwoods Cabin will be the perfect stay for your vacation! Wildwoods has the feel of being secluded however the Mickelson Trail (non motorized trail) runs just below the property for easy access to hiking, biking & skiing. It is the perfect place to get away from it all & back in touch with nature. Enjoy the deck, with wildlife traveling thru the property. Mickelson trail goes right thru property. So cabin is less than 1/10th of a mile (right next to trail) from the trail. This is a peaceful location enjoyed by many so PLEASE NO MOTORIZED OFF ROAD VEHICLES (atv's, side by sides etc)....Thank you for your understanding). No campers, RV’s or tents allowed without prior permission and additional charge. Final note: While a car can get to the cabin we would recommend AWD or 4WD to cover all weather and road conditions. We do have a lower parking area if needed just below the cabin. Re: motorcycles…..it total depends on you comfort level riding….. Some are totally fine with gravel road leading to our driveway and also fine with driveway and some don’t like gravel and hills. We do have a lower parking area for motorcycles, and then it’s a very short hike to the cabin. If you have questions, please reach out and I can explain more. Thank you !

Absolutely amazing property. Wish I could have stayed longer and explored the area a little more. Cabin was awesome and very quiet area. Got to see a lot of wildlife and is right by great hiking .

The cabin was very clean. It's a nice out-of-the-way place to relax. Check-in and check-out were very easy. The chairs and bed were very comfortable. It's an easy drive to near by activities and locations. The location is scenic and remote. The Mickelson Trail is very near, and an interesting, easy walk.

What a lovely & serene property! It was exactly what we needed. My finance, daughter & I traveled from Pennsylvania for the Sturgis rally to see my son’s band New Damage play at Buffalo Chip from 8/7-8/9. We’re not bikers & we had no idea what to expect, but we had an absolute blast! The rally was amazing, the musical performances were top notch & of course New Damage knocked it out of the park! After all the craziness of the rally each night it was so awesome to come back to the peace & quiet of this beautiful cabin & property. I’m an early riser & sitting out on the lower deck with my morning coffee was simply heaven. Kim has all the amenities you need & since we flew out we didn’t bring much so it was absolutely perfect! We had time to see the Badlands which were breathtaking, & Mt. Rushmore, but I wish we could have stayed longer to see more as there is lots to explore out here. I mean Deadwood, the Wild West! 10/10 recommend Wildwoods cabin for a unique & wonderful stay!

Awesome place

We really enjoyed our stay, owner was very helpful. The cabin or “dome” was a very cool place with a unique look from the outside and very well kept and modern look inside. We’d recommend anyone stay there if they’re in the area!

An amazing oasis in the woods if you're looking for solitude!Definitely follow the recommendation of the listing and have a 4WD vehicle as the driveway is very steep, but it's absolutely worth it. Kim is an amazing host and had good insight as to local activities.

Cozy-cute Dome

Neat place to stay! It was a cute little cabin that actually didnt feel small. It was clean and well kept with comfortable beds! Also its a fricken Dome! It not an everday kind of thing. Definitely would stay again! Hosts were great too!

Geo Dome

Best place we have ever stayed in Black Hills. Cabin is just perfect for two and has everything you would ever need. Weather station was a nice added touch. So remote, but so close to Mikelson Trail-- what a plus. Owners communicated well and gave very good driving instructions to cabin.
