A beautiful four season lakefront house on peaceful and quiet Twitchell Pond. This year round home is in pristine condition. It has two bedrooms with two additional sleeping lofts. Open concept with granite counter tops and fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable couch and 2 recliner chairs in the open living room. Dining room table looks out over the lake. There is a large private dock ideal for swimming and using the 3 kayaks and 2 paddle boards that we have for our guests. Natural fire pit in the yard just steps from the lake. There is a ping pong table in the basement. Located just minutes from Mount Abram and 20 minutes from Sunday River. There are hiking trails nearby and a golf course at Sunday River. The White Mountains in NH are 30 minutes away. Check out the Mountain bike park at Mount Abram. Listen to the loons on the lake, enjoy games or reading on the screened in porch. We have "beach" towels and chairs for your use. There are board games, puzzles, cards and books in the living room. You will have everything you need while staying here - full kitchen, on-site washer/dryer, Smart TV's, Wifi, parking for 2 cars, coffee and tea, kitchen staples, filtered water and luxury bedding and towels.

Family Christmas Retreat

Great location for our family to enjoy some down time together. This location is close to Mt. Abraham and Sunday River. The weather was fog and rain for the entire time but being in close proximity to downtown e made the most of our time.

Absolutely gorgeous, loved paddling around the lake, there was plenty of space for myself and 3 kids for us all to have a place to be. Super clean, comfy beds, great shower. So glad we chose this one!

Beautiful spot on a quiet pond

Four college friends from many years ago loved reconnecting for a second year at this beautiful location. We spent most of our time outside enjoying coffee on the dock, swimming, fishing, kayaking, walking and corn hole. It’s a lovely quiet pond. The house had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We had adults staying in the loft area—which doesn’t have enough clearance to stand upright—but the beds are comfortable and we love the location! The host is very responsive. We really enjoyed our July stay!

Glorious getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay in this well-appointed cottage. The owners thought of everything and were very accessible when we had questions. The place was impeccably clean, very comfortable and has beautiful views. Lots of fun to be had while unplugging from city life!

Relaxing

Had a relaxing time right on the water. Had paddle boards and kayaks to use. Kids enjoyed the ping pong table and corn hole games that were also available. Was enough space for this family of 5 to spread out.

Tranquil Retreat by the Pond

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful property on the pond in September. We couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable getaway. Our visit was marked by serene moments with the Loons that inhabit the pond and a beautiful brook that feeds the lake nearby the property. This cabin is a great place for anyone needing a cozy atmosphere on a pond within 15 minutes of Bethel. Our stay was a delightful experience and we would recommend it to any other nature lovers.

Cabin on a frozen lake!

The property was better than advertised. Brand new and perfectly efficiently layed out for a family of 4. Kids loved sleeping in the loft and had their choice of beds. The house was immaculate and the linens were comfortable like home. We have a wonderful time at the house and skiing Sunday River which was a pleasant drive and easy to get to. The lake was our favorite!!

Don't Miss Out On This Place!

An absolute beauty of a location and a house. My friends and I got together for the first time in a few years and wanted something that reminded us of our lakehouses growing up, and this location certainly did not disappoint. The house was so well prepared that it truly felt like I was in my own home. The beds are crazy comfy, and having all the water accessories there for us already was a nice treat. Looking forward to hopefully coming back in the future!

Loved it!

Had a great time with the family, house is beautiful and had everything we needed. Katie and Ben were great host and responded very quickly to our questions. Only thing we struggled with is not having locks on the bathroom doors, however, it wasn't a big deal as we made our own rule. We will certainly go back when water is little warmer.

This home has stunning scenery, it's a very clean lake that is refreshing and inviting to swim, kayak or paddleboard. There is lots of fresh air and privacy. You will feel a sense of peace and tranquility as you hear the loons on the lake. There are very few motorboats on this lake. The house is in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end street. You can enjoy walks down the street, drive to hiking trails just minutes away. Bethel is 15 minutes away where you will find a classic New England village with dining options, outdoor recreation including skiing, hiking and mountain biking.
