Miss Kay's Getaway is the perfect spot for your family to be close to everything, including the Strand, the beach, restaurants, historic districts and much more! This is a brand new, completely renovated 2 bedroom 2 bath house. This house can sleep 7 people with a King bed, queen bed, twin bed and a queen air mattress if you have a large group. Enjoy your coffee on the front porch and meals on the back deck. The large yard is complete with a NEW 8' fence, fire pit and BBQ grill.

Such a cute and quaint home. The master bedroom is extremely comfortable in the bed was very comfy.All the extras that were provided were greatly appreciated. Really yummy coffee flavors in the kitchen .local to lots of great restaurants and short drive to the beach We would stay again

Nice 2 bed 2 bath house near the port of Galveston. Common areas and backyard are very nice, coffee bar is great, with many selections and flavorings. WiFi is very robust if needed, host is very responsive.

The bed had no mattress cover. The sheets were thin and dingy. The pillows were balls of foam no pillow protectors. The shower curtain was moldy. The grout in the shower was brown with dirt. The chairs in the living space were stained and dirty. All the rugs were filthy! The outside of the house was just as bad all the plants were dead and weeds everywhere. I’ve stayed in a lot of vrbo’s and they were fine. This is the first one I’ve stayed in that was gross.

So much more comfortable than a hotel! Our party of 5 stayed one night before our cruise. Plenty of towels, kitchen supplies, paper goods, coffee bar. Beds were comfy. Added bonus was the bluetooth speaker system in the bathrooms. Our college girls had tunes cranked UP while getting ready for the cruise! Host was friendly, helpful and very quick with replies to my questions. Highly recommend!

Night before cruise

Neighborhood wasn’t what was expected. The inside of the house was all updated and fabulous. We couldn’t get the keurig to work but that could’ve been user error.

Mini get away

Rental was awesome and very close to the beach. Wish there was more time to relax in the cozy house. The rental was exceptional. Would book again next year. Thank you to host for the rental.

Wonderful Property

We loved this adorable house! We only stayed one night before our cruise, but definitely wished we could have stayed longer! The description and photos were accurate, Tiffany was super responsive. Property was clean, beds so comfy, bathrooms perfect! This house was so well thought out, loved having the lights labeled, fans in the rooms, great coffee bar, and comfy blankets! Loved our stay! Highly recommend

Galveston Getaway

This was the perfect place to enjoy all that Galveston has to offer. Great location to the Seawall and beaches as well as the surrounding historic neighborhoods. This 100 year old house was beautifully preserved and wonderfully updated. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms and kitchen were well stocked for your vacation needs. The only issue I had was uploading required Driver’s License to host in the VRBO app. Once that was rectified check in was easy. The front door is original to the house and can be tricky to get shut due to age and humidity. A good time was had by all and I would definitely recommend this cute house to anyone traveling to Galveston.

The place is very well done. Cute and everything you need! The beds were so comfortable in the master-I didn’t try the others. AC worked great, which was super nice since it was June and warm. Very nicely stocked coffee bar. This may sound silly but Tiffany has Kleenex boxes in several places! (We are Kleenex crazy so that was awesome). Tiffany was extremely punctual in her communication, which is always a plus when renting a VRBO. Remember when renting in Galveston that you will have houses that are not in great shape around houses that have been redone. That’s Galveston! We never felt uncomfortable and the lady next door was very friendly. The ONLY issue we had was that there was a distinct smell in the house. Most likely a plug in deodorizer that had been used. Unfortunately we are VERY SMELL SENSITIVE (migraines) and it was an issue. Please rent from her but be aware if that is also your case. She just needs to know ahead of time. Oh, chairs and table with fire pit in the back yard would be nice to use in cold weather!

Wonderful cottage!

We loved that cute cottage for the one night we were there prior to our cruise. It’s super clean, well decorated, nicely stocked, and coffee options galore. Everything worked. The back yard is really cute and there’s a fire pit there. The host is amazingly receptive and helpful. We’ll look for this one again.

A cute relaxing home

Miss K's was such a cute little home with wonderful showers, comfy beds and a relaxing backyard. Our kids enjoyed the snacks, and we were able to see the beautiful cemetery from the front porch. I would highly recommend staying at Miss K's.

Beautiful restored home great location for Cruisers!

My son and I came to Galveston for my first cruise and we couldn’t pick the better home to stay in! Everything was beautifully updated and it had more than what we needed! There was great communication with Tiffany, who always answered all my questions promptly! Everything about this place was easy and wonderful. I highly recommend it and hope to be back on our next cruise.

Cute, clean and just like the pictures

This was the perfect little overnight for us before we got on our cruise. It was close to the terminal. The house is very cute. They are a big fan of pocket doors with most of the doors in the house sliding. The laundry room is in the master bedroom and the access to the backyard is through the master bedroom. The space is beautiful and well taken care of. The host responded quickly and was very helpful with all of our questions

Miss Kay's Getaway is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage that has been lovingly remodeled from top to bottom, every surface has been updated. Brand new front porch and back deck added. The back yard is an oasis to relax in from a NEW 8 ft fence, lots of tropical color, to the gas fire pit, gas BBQ grill and festive lighting.

Brand new everything! This is a property you can truly enjoy inside and out. Our location makes it very easy to get to all the fun Galveston has to offer. A 4 min drive will get you to the beach, or rent some bikes or a golf cart to see the sights. Also just a very few min drive will also get you to the strand, and the cruise port, or the Pleasure Pier and the seawall! Any direction you go there are awesome sights, sounds and activities.

Miss Kay's Getaway is located across from Galveston's oldest historic cemetery. Galveston's Old City Cemetery holds some of the island's grandest treasures of architecture and history as well as the final resting place for some of Galveston's most influential 19th and early 20th century citizens. Try out a Ghost tour, https://ghostcitytours.com/galveston/haunted-galveston/broadway-cemetery/ This is just one of them available. Or go it alone, walking the cemeteries is an amazing journey through an island time capsule of the Texas Revolution, Civil War Soldiers of both sides, National celebrities and prominent local citizens. You never know which known local scoundrels you are likely to meet!
