The Casita is perfect for a couple seeking privacy and simple, yet tasteful. You will enjoy a private garden area to enjoy meals, including a barbecue area with great views of the flowers and Jane's orchids The kitchen is simply setup for anything you could possibly need, as well as the main living and sleeping area. The bathroom is small yet perfectly remodeled for your needs. If you seek a simple, inspiring and safe environment. Look no further, the Casita is you home away from home.

Quiet Paradise

If you've been searching for a quiet retreat away from all the hustle and bustle, look no further. At the Villa Blanca Casita you will find peace and tranquility on the beautiful (private) white sand beach next to the jungle. The Casita is very cozy and well appointed with everything you will need. The host and caretakers are easily accessible and very gracious. My wife and I had an amazing stay and will return again to enjoy this paradise. d&d, Tucson

Perfect Getaway

Bill and Jane's casita is the perfect haven for a cozy retreat with the open spaces of the outdoor areas including a pool and outdoor sitting areas available to us, all within steps of the beach. The casita was immaculately clean, and Bill and Jane were close at hand to answer any questions we had about the casita and a wealth of information about the island and places we might like to visit. Bill and Jane held the perfect balance of giving us our own space, and being available for a conversation and a dinner recommendation. Don't miss this opportunity to stay in a secure location in a gated community with access to everything you could need for a relaxing getaway.

A gem

This is a beautiful little place. The Casita itself is small but beautifully laid out and tastefully decorated. The kitchen has everything you could possibly want, the bed is comfortable and the bathroom perfect. But what really sets this place apart are the gardens and the access you have to a beautiful pool and deck, and eating area. You can walk along the beach, hear the waves, there is a great area for dive equipment rinse off and hanging. Jane is available in the big house for anything and everything from books to advice. Easy arrival and departure. A little piece of heaven!

Tropical sanctuary

I cannot say enough about this beautiful property and these awesome hosts. We arrived a little early and were welcomed with open arms. We received the best little booklet from the owners before we came so we were very prepared for the trip. Mostly nervous about what to do when we rented a car- so this booklet was very thorough down to how to drive in Cozumel/one way streets, etc. Their cassita was perfect for the two of us and the king size bed was super comfy. Bill and Jane have really got a gem in this guest house, sunk in the middle of their beautiful gardens. We had our own sweet little sitting area outside to eat if we wanted to and you DO want to. So you can watch emerald green hummingbirds and see the different varieties of hibiscus and other native blooming plants! The beach is right out front and there are chairs and two tents to keep you from roasting on the hot sun. Watching the cruise ships leave as well as the mesmerizing sunsets were the cherry on top after a long day of scuba diving, snorkeling, shopping or traveling to the east side of the island. We will definitely be going back. We’ve made some great new friends in Cozumel and we always need more island time to relax and rest. Wish I could say such nice things about our flight home on United. Yikes! I would rate our stay in Cozumel as a 15 out of 10. Great job you guys!!!!

Home away from home- paradise!

Bill and Jane made everything during our stay so easy, fun and amazing! My husband and I decided to take a “babymoon” at 26weeks pregnant and it was the best decision we have ever made staying here! They were always available to answer or help with any questions we had and even set up a telescope for us in the palapa to view the full moon on our last night! They go above and beyond with the hosting game! The casita was the perfect size for us and the beautiful pool/ palapa area that leads to the gorgeous beach on the other side of the fence was immaculate! The location was so perfect- any time we wanted to go somewhere, it was a 5 min walk to the closest hotel and they always had taxis out front! Bring lots of small bills for cab rides as they will tell you they don’t have change! We didn’t end up exchanging money at all either. Our last day we took the ferry to playa del Carmen - its like a giant outdoor shopping mall for souvenirs and a very social beach scene if thats what you’re looking for! The ferry ride was about 40 mins and beautiful. We took a taxi to San Garvacio Mayan ruins for a few hours one day- the cab charged $100 round trip and to wait the hour we were inside touring. Saw lots of iguanas and a koati as well! Most of our time was spent in the pool or walking the beach, but going to El Centro for good food or nightlife is a must. If you want a fancy dinner, try Casa Mission- we had a great authentic experience there. Also lunch at Yaama was where we had the most beautiful view of the water and great food! Overall, 12/10 definitely recommend this place- we can’t wait to come back and visit as soon as possible!

A perfect place for a getaway for two

We absolutely LOVE the Casita! It is comfortable and cozy, and every spare inch of space is well thought-out and used very economically. Upon entering the house, we immediately felt at home and comfortable after our delayed arrival. Even though we arrived late, Jane met us at the gate and gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel right at home instantly. The property is located on the northern side of the island, away from the busy tourist areas, and is an oasis of tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the central part of San Miguel. However, the central part of town is easily accessible via taxi (or car, if you chose to rent one) and you can easily get to anywhere you want within a few minutes. The grounds of the property are beautiful and really make staying at the Casita a treat. The garden is spectacular and is a great place to watch hummingbirds feed, or even see a stray hermit crab crawling around, and to just relax. The white sand beach is just steps outside the back gate and is the perfect place to take in the sun, take a stroll or watch the incredible sunsets Cozumel is known for. The pool area is also a great place to relax, especially if you want to get out of the sun for a bit and cool off. Bill and Jane are amazing hosts and went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable and memorable. They ensured we were well taken care of and that all of our needs were met and all of our questions answered. They are very friendly people and quite knowledgeable about the island, having been residents there for over 20 years. They have also put together an exhaustive guide to the island that will answer any questions you might have about Cozumel: everything from the best sights to see, their favorite restaurants, and even advice on renting a car and driving on the island. And if it's not in the guide, you can just ask them and they'll gladly provide you with any information you need. We have been going to Cozumel for ten years, and this past trip was the best one we have taken. That was due in no small part to staying at the Casita and the warm hospitality of Bill and Jane. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a little bit of paradise on earth. Thank you so much Bill and Jane for letting us stay at the Casita and making us feel at home. We are looking forward to our next visit next winter and are counting the days!

We are Bill and Jane, and we have lived in Cozumel for 30 years. We come and go from Colorado, and feel blessed to live in two special locations. We are active in the community and feel Cozumel is one of the special places in all of Mexico.

We recently remodeled the Casita house to offer as a refuge from the busy and often chaotic world we all experience. The Casita is inside our gated yard and has private areas for guests to enjoy. Common is the pool area and access to the beach. The palapa bar area is by arrangement for use, but available upon request. We know our guests will experience a sense of calm that is unique and special to our location. Accessing the beach directly and enjoying some of the best white sand and beautiful water that Cozumel has to offer is truly special. If you kite, this is your paradise, as kiting happens directly out in front when wind conditions allow.
