Enjoy newly constructed knotty pine loft apartment at the base of Bearpen Mountain off scenic route 2 in Prattsville, NY. Twenty minutes to Windham and Hunter ski mountains, 30 minutes to Belleayre and Plattekill Mtns. Walk to Bearpen Sports with sledding, fat-tire biking, ice skating, curling, x-country skiing and snow shoeing. Adjacent to world class trails for hiking, snowmobiling, hunting (in season) and skinning (ski). Majestic mountain views from every window and large deck. Enjoy a glass of wine warming up next to the stone gas fireplace; well appointed kitchen (no dishwasher) and full bathroom.

Stunning!!!

Spent our 1st wedding anniversary here. It was so peaceful and the views from the property are breathtaking. The host is so nice and available for any assistance. The room was very clean and cozy.

Great stay

Beautiful location in catskill mountains. Host was so nice and friendly was more than helpful. Place was perfect and comfortable. Tiny town and nice people there. If you like scluded area and peace and quite this is the place! Sking close by and if summer stay plenty to do. We wanted to cook for ourselves and we had everything we needed here.lovely kitchen space.we just love the space and the area.

My wife & I enjoyed every minute of our time. The property is just so beautiful, cozy, relaxing and having everything in wood just made the ambiance much more comfortable. I will most definitely be renting this place again.

Coziest Loft Getaway

Where to even start?? The loft was the coziest & most perfect accommodation for our trip! Beautifully designed & comfortable too. The fireplace was probably my favorite feature just because the weather ended up being colder than we would have preferred, so it was the best coming back from exploring in the cold to an easily lit fireplace. Karen and Doug are super nice too - it was great getting to talk with them! My boyfriend and I are already planning on coming back!

The perfect hideout

The place is very clean and new. The fireplace gives great warmth to the space and the area is very quiet so we had great sleep all night. We had easy and quick communication with the owners. 10/10 would suggest. Thanks again for the stay!

Cozy place

I wanted a nice place to spend my birthday, and I found a place much more than nice, what I liked most about this place is the silence and peace that it brings with it, besides that this place has absolutely everything you need, you feel at home, I enjoyed every moment in front of the fireplace drinking a glass of wine, every breakfast, every dinner with my partner, and most importantly Karen and Doug the owners are so friendly and love animals, therefore it is a place that you can bring your pet. I loved every day I was in this cozy cabin, and I can't wait to return soon. THANK YOU KAREN and DOUG Andrea & Leonardo

Cute, Comfy, Clean Cabin

Can't recommend this retreat enough! Check in was as easy as showing up. From there, we were greeted by the cutest and cleanest cabin loft. The amenities were awesome - it was 1 room but with several seating areas, a well stocked kitchen, and the comfiest bed! Karen, our host, was the absolute loveliest. She was very available and amenable if we needed anything (even supplying us with firewood, smores, and blankets for a campfire!) but also allowed us our privacy for a romantic weekend getaway. It was a perfect home to return to after exploring the Catskills!

Amazing experience

My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary this past weekend. This location was perfect, the leaves were fantastic and the owners were very kind and attentive. We arrived to find a gift basket and waters in the fridge. The communication was amazing and everything just felt really cozy. The little details made us feel at home. We loved it and will definitely consider returning next year. I told my husband as we were leaving that I will miss the drive to the property because it was so beautiful. Could not have asked for more. Thank you!

Perfect Home-Away-From-Home Rental

The Loft is even more beautiful in person, and it gave off the warmest, coziest, most comfortable vibes. We instantly fell in love with the entire property. Even the best photos do not do the views justice. Imagine looking upward to a 360-degree blue sky filled with white marshmallow clouds during the day and zillions of stars at night. Karen and Doug we outstanding hosts who shared with us great tips on local fishing and swimming holes, hiking trails, and restaurants, as well as historical information. We especially loved all of the little extras they provided...welcome snacks and fresh-cut flowers upon arrival, a s'mores grab-n-go packet, dry firewood after an all-day rainstorm, and mini-moo creamers for our morning coffee. We're already working on booking return visits this fall and winter. Five-star location; five-star property; five-star hosts.
