Remodeled historical spacious waterfront beach house

Large beach house renovated in 2021. Owned by the same family that built the home in the 1920s. Located in the center of St Teresa Beach right on the water on a double lot.
Three private bedrooms and a large sleeping porch. Two full baths plus an outdoor shower. Large deck and front yard overlook the water. Beautifully redone kitchen with quartz counter tops, large pantry, well appointed with an extra refrigerator and an extra full size freezer.
Very light and airy with wooden floors. Kayaks, paddleboard, umbrellas, beach toys, and chairs available for use. Cable TV, fast wifi included.
Beach is very private and secluded. Sugar white sand with plenty of dolphins, pelicans, herons, eagles, and sometimes manatee!
Family friendly with pack and play available.

Perfectly peaceful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. A peaceful getaway, with plenty to do, away from the chaos and heavily populated beaches. We practically had the beach to ourselves. The kids loved kayaking in the ocean while my husband enjoyed fishing, day and night. The owners were pleasant and easy to work with. Would highly recommend.

Cutest house on the beach, terrific location, great beach toys, loved the layout of the house, lots of spaces to be together and space to spend some quiet time. Would love to stay again!

Great for large family.

Lovely house, just like the picture. The location is great. We barely seen people, which was what we like. My kids had a blast, my mom described it as "being in a hallmark movie"

Family Vacation

The Beach House was great. There was everything we needed available to us and more. Everyone thought the beds were the best. It was great having 2 refrigerators, freezer and 2 washers and dryers and 2 bathrooms. The air-condition was great. The kitchen has stocked with everything we needed above and beyond. Also, the 2 water coolers, pack in play, highchairs, etc. We also enjoyed the kayaks, paddleboard, beach chairs. The large deck was great to enjoy especially with Infants sleeping inside. The Wi-Fi was fast and TV / Cable work great. The beach was very private and enjoyable. we plan or staying there again next year. I highly recommend it, and we give it an Exceptional rating.

Peaceful Getaway

This home ranks as our favorite beach house stay. The yard and porches were the perfect place to enjoy the beach and gentle breeze. Our teenage boys liked having a yard to play wiffle ball while they weren't on the beach or fishing. My parents relaxed on the outdoor porch in the shade or stayed in the cool house on the enclosed porch while still enjoying the stunning beach views. The calm waters allowed us to use the provided kayaks and paddle boards to enjoy a different perspective of the waters. There was a small community pier about a mile down the beach that provided a wonderful fishing spot for the boys. We saw sea turtles, lots of stingrays, jellyfish, and a variety of fish were caught. Mary was very attentive and promptly answered any questions we had. They literally provide everything you can possible need in the house, from soap and shampoo to toilet paper. By far, this is the best stocked home we have ever stayed in. We arrived a day before a category 1 hurricane was expected to make landfall and Mary was so patient with my 101 questions; she even brought extra flashlights by the house in the event we lost power. We were fortunate and the storm made landfall just to the east and we ended up having a wonderful beach week. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to people of all ages.

Very Relaxing

We just loved the panoramic Gulf view which is visible from almost every room. Everything was very clean and well-stocked. This is a very quiet, relaxing area.

Most relaxing vacation ever

This was such a precious house with tons of charm; a perfect place for our family vacation. The three bedrooms offered adequate privacy and there was so much common space we were always able to spread out (indoors and outside), but the house isn’t huge so we were always near each other…which is a good thing. The kitchen was great for cooking meals every day, the bathrooms were large and there was always plenty of hot water, even for 10 people. The 2 refrigerators and standing freezer provided enough space for all our groceries for the entire week. On top of this, there were so many ‘little’ extras that just made us feel like we were visiting a friend- shampoo, bath gel, laundry detergent, beach towels, coffee, paper towels. The yard is absolutely beautiful and offers plenty of shade for cornhole or just relaxing off the beach. Overall, I could not have been happier with this home or St Teresa. We had 4 generations staying together, from a 1 year old to 73, including young adults in their 20s, yet everyone had their own ’favorite thing’ about this place. I hope to come back for years.

Almost Heaven, St Teresa; our group age from 65 to 84 , the house was great for us old folks.

The property was everything that we hoped for . Beds, kitchen , dining , and porch were great and well furnished. Yard and outside porch were also very nice and well used.

We had the best trip! Such a sweet family cottage with plenty of room for us all. Dolphins, sting rays, horseshoe crabs were in abundance during our trip. Thank you for a wonderful trip again!

Perfect Beach House!!

This home had everything...panoramic view of the Gulf, as close as you can get to the beach, chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, beach towels, kayaks, paddle boards, and grill. The beach was ours alone most days, other than an occasional neighbor walking by. It was quiet and the neighbors were friendly. The 80’ long air conditioned sleeping, eating, and relaxing porch was an amazing hangout for the whole family. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more. The house was clean, comfortable and well arranged. We slept great all week, please let me know what kind of mattress was on the bed in the bedroom by the garage. We’re in the market for a new mattress and that’s the one we want!!! Thank you for sharing your home, we loved it.

Relaxing!!

Quiet. Wonderfully quiet. Everything just as described. Comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, plenty of refrigerator space. We will return!! Miss Mary was so helpful from beginning to end. Best seafood dinner at Angelo’s!!

fun get away

Loved the remote area away from all the hubbub. We enjoyed being right at the water. Take groceries with you. Not very many convenient places to shop BUT towards the end of our week we found out that insta-cart did deliver there! Be ready to really escape from your busy-ness. Well stocked kitchen. Just wish there was a pool! It would be perfect. But plenty of water activities: kayaks, paddle boards, floats, nets. A great place to unwind. Mary was a great communicator!

Spring Break '23

We were looking forward to just getting away from life a little bit and having some R&R, and that is exactly what we found! The area was perfect for family time and some peace and quiet. The older teens may have gotten a little bit bored after a few days but they enjoyed having the kayaks and paddleboard to go our and explore on. There was plenty on the beach to explore! The entire area was just things we had not experienced before and it was unforgettable for us! Mary was AMAZING, her home was AMAZING we had everything we could possibly need! When she says all the basic amenities are provided she means it and did not skimp! we were able to make packing such a breeze for this trip because of everything that was already there. The house was roomy and spacious with plenty of beds and different areas for us to spread out and enjoy of own thing, but they were plenty large enough that we were able to gather when we wanted to. The only thing I could have asked for was just one more tv somewhere in the house. with 10 people, and 6 of those children, there is just not much compromising when they are winding down for the evening for a little screen time. We can't wait to come back!

Glorious Time

Our time spent at the Carrol Beach House was outstanding. The historic property was beautiful and relaxing. We were grateful for the kayaks too. We bought shrimp in Panacea for each dinner and enjoyed lots of beach time. We headed to St George Island to the State Park for some beach combing and surf fishing. Caught our first Pompano there! Everything about our trip and the property were outstanding.

What a gem!

This was such a wonderful find. The beach house was well stocked an nicely decorated. The beach was just steps away, fine white sand and very private. We loved it!!!
