This is definitely something special and you are just steps from the beach! We know you and your family will want to make this your island vacation home away from home that you return to each year!

1736 Bluff Villa is a lovely updated two-bedroom two bath villa in South Beach. Situated between the Calibogue Sound and Braddock Cove, you are just steps from the beach!! This villa has beautiful wood plank tile throughout and a newly updated kitchen with everything you need to prepare snacks for the beach, morning coffee, or a delectable meal to enjoy at the dining table. The sliding doors in the living area let the light in and the open living space has comfy cozy furnishings just perfect for relaxing with a good book or hosting movie or game night! The entryway gives you a nice place to store beach gear out of site, and there's a full-sized washer and dryer for your convenience.

South Beach Marina is nearby for all of your shopping, dining, and outdoor activities. The 5,000-acre Sea Pines resort includes the Harbour Town Links of RBC Heritage fame, as well as Hilton Head’s iconic candy-striped lighthouse. Explore the 605-acre forest preserve on foot or horseback, or head out on the water on a dolphin cruise, fishing excursion, or a peaceful kayak trip through the bustling marinas at South Beach and Harbour Town.

After a day at the beach or exploring the Island, you'll love having comfy cozy sleeping accommodations. Each bed is fitted with crisp and clean linens so you can tuck yourself in for a good night's rest and awake ready to enjoy the new day. PROPERTY SPECIFIC DETAILS:

* The South Beach Marina Pool is open seasonally from June through August. Please note that pool access is not included with your stay. Guests who wish to use the pool must purchase a pass directly from South Beach Pool at least a week in advance to their stay. For current rates and details, please visit their official website.
* Sea Pines is a gated community in which every vehicle must have a gate pass for entry. One gate pass is included with your reservation at the time of booking. If you require additional passes, please request the exact number needed to ensure they are prepared in advance. Each pass has a fee of $35. All gate passes must be picked up at the host2coast office prior to entry.
* Please be advised that there is ongoing construction at South Beach Marina for the foreseeable future. Some shops remain open, including The Salty Dog.
* 1736 Bluff Villa is located in Building 3, 2nd Floor, Stairwell B. Please note: There are exterior steps in all Bluff Villa buildings to access ALL floors including first floor villas.

Location

The overall location was nice but the beach was lacking as far as this property being on the Sound and not actually being the ocean. I didn't remember seeing that conveyed.

Great property and great location close to the Salty Dog and across the street from the beach (a very easy walk). We have stayed at multiple condos at Bluff Villas and are always pleased, second time staying with Host2Coast and could not be happier.

Took my older 2 on a trip for fall break. House was great and close to everything. Would definitely come back. Host was very responsive ahead time when I had questions.

Nice location

The unit is nice - a bit dull in decorating - needs some color. The tub in the small bathroom needs at least a grab bar, but really needs replacing. The location is nice - really like the ocean and dolphins every evening.

We stay at the Bluff Villas every year for the location.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love South Beach and proximity to Salty Dog. However, there are simple things to make a condo more comfortable. It appears to be updated in pics, but certain things like old tv's and awful cable need to be updated. The shower in the master isn't sealed well and there was a large puddle on the floor after every shower. The toilets are older and had to pull of the lid a number of times to get to flush. Lastly, having to pay separately for a pool pass is a minor inconvenience, but an inconvenience. We've rented down in SB for the last 10 or so years and it has always been included in the rental price. It isn't clear when booking (mostly because it's expected), and we saw a number of people getting aggressive with the poor girls working the gate about it. Also, while it's not under Host2Coast management, that pool is old, cracked, horrible bathrooms, unchanged in 10+ years. We won't stay at this condo again, and considering pricing being jacked up every year, may be time to find another area with a private pool and more updated.

Perfect Staycation

Perfect for a short getaway to the RBC Heritage. Walking distance to South Beach/Salty Dog and the beach of Calibogue Sound, with a tournament trolley stop right across the street. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect 2 bed condo in Sea Pines

Lovely, quiet, clean and had everything we needed! It's right next to the Salty Dog marina area, so kids were able to walk in the evening for ice cream, and everything else was accessible by bike. The AC wasn't working, but Host2Coast got an HVAC person in to replace something, and checked in on us consistently to make sure we were good.

One suggestion would be to replace the glass table in the living room or have the edges marked in such a way as to see it more easily. It is hard to see and is a scratch hazard. But, we would rent this property again.

Nice condo in great location.

Nice condo and great location. Had issues with wifi, down for 3 full days of a 5 day stay. TV’s worked sometimes. Kitchen was understocked with pans and utensils. Master shower door leaks creating puddles on bathroom floor. Beds were comfortable unit was clean.

Bluff Villas South Beach

Property was nice and clean. The Beds we’re not comfortable at all. We were not too happy that we had to pay extra for the pool. We have stayed in Bluff Villas many times and pool as well as tennis we’re always included. We were very surprised to learn that our SeaPines parking pass did not allow is to park at the Sea Pines Beach Club! We have always had access to that as Sea Pines guests. This has always been a reason to stay in Sea Pines!!! The property has no Smart TVs , which is inexcusable in this day in age. We were also sad to see how many shops have closed at South Beach. We definitely would stay in another area next time and I guess rent directly through Sea Pines.

Not great but ok

Great location and managing company great to work with. Place needs a safe, smart tv and is lacking a skillet. It was not the cleanest but when addressed the managing company handled. Needs bathrooms updated and the counters are super low in both bathrooms.

We have now stayed in Bluff Villas on four occasions, and all have been great! This unit was no exception, and it is obvious that it is well managed by Host2Coast. The only thing missing was a pool, which was available for an extra fee and had limited hours. Other than that, this is a really nice unit in a great spot!

Perfect South Beach Vacation

Super clean and spacious villa. Nice furniture and comfortable beds. Well stocked. 2 minute walk to beach. Check in easy and efficient. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Great Location and Rental!

Very spacious villa for our family of four. Well equipped. Didn’t use kitchen much except for breakfast. Would definitely use host2coast against; they were great. 1736 Bluff will be a go to for us when we’re in HH.Cons: Not many and these can be easily remedied. Light fixture in master bath - shower area is very dull and makes it difficult to use shower, since you can’t see. Some walls need a wiping or quick paint touch up. Coffee mugs are chipped and badly stained, need replacing. These cons are definitely not a deal breaker but if addressed will enhance overall experience.

Suggestion: new blinds in bedrooms and we were surprised there was no outdoor grill.

We were very impressed with the various upgrades and the EXCEPTIONAL CLEANLINESS through out.. The kitchen was well stocked, new washer and dryer. The living room has new very comfortable furniture . Internet service and Wifi were strong in the entire villa.Master bedroom decor was pretty and the mattress was very comfortable. A very enjoyable experience!!Would love to go back.
