Come relax and enjoy feeding the goats and give our loveable guard dog treats, sipping tea while watching the sunset, reading a book curled up in a cozy blanket on the couch, or playing a game in this quiet unique spot. It’s the perfect place to get away and clear your mind or bring the family to have a goat experience! You are welcome to walk around the property or sleep on the hammock, make a fire (pending fire bans) pet the dog or pick a fresh apple (when in season) Take in the beautiful farms around you as you unwind. Lovely cottage stay

Overall the stay was great. We loved the close proximity to downtown, the quiet and serene setting of the farm and our toddler loved feeding the goats and dog.

Goat paradise!

It was wonderful to stay here! We loved the cottage and seeing the goats and doggies every morning. The host was wonderful and our two year old had the time of his life seeing the animals, he's already been asking to come back!

Fun at the goat cottage!

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay and had so much fun playing with the goats and dogs. The kids had a blast and the cottage was everything we needed for a little getaway. Thank you for your hospitality, we look forward to visiting again!

Lovely Getaway with the Goats

We had such a great stay here! This place was a child’s paradise with all the animals to interact with from the free range chickens to the goats and dog and even some horses next door. It was a lovely quiet place and Amberjoy and her family were perfect hosts.

Nice little getaway in the Bellingham area

We had a great time at the goat cottage. The kids loved feeding the goats and dog of course. The owners couldn't be better, very kind and attentive. The cottage served as a nice base camp for all the day trips we made visiting the area.

Great Stay - Just what I needed

I was looking to come to Bellingham area to get a break and got exactly what I wanted. The host was great at communication and the facilities very relaxed. The goats were cute and I was able to facetime my grandson to see them too. Overall a great stay and recommended.

Goat farm

It was wonderful and perfect for us and what we needed. Loved the fire pit on the cool nights and feeding the goats.

Friendly Goats and a cute pup!

Place is neat. We needed place to crash while in Bellingham and the Goat Cottage was pretty interesting. Goats are friendly and Diesel (their dog) was super nice.

Country setting and safe

Clean & safe. We liked that the host was next door about 800 ft away and communicated promptly with all of our questions. I felt at home with the goats and a dogs around. Definitely will recommend to friends and family!

Excellent country setting

My wife and i stayed here. What an awesome place to stay. It is perfect for two people. If you are at looking for a quiet place to stay then this the place. We enjoyed seeing and petting the goats, plus disel the over grown puppy dog, and Luna who loved to play fetch. The place is very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Amber Joy and Dave were great hosts. We had zero issues our whole stay.

Cozy cottage

This is a unique property with goats and a wonderful goat dog named Diesel. I didn’t get to spend much time here during the day as I was here visiting my daughter and her family. But it’s a comfy place to tuck into for the night. The host was helpful when necessary but otherwise leaves you be.

Incredible Spot for a Family Getaway

If you have young kids who love animals and want to getaway to a spot that feels like it's far away from the city, but really not, then this is the place for you! The property was absolutely adorable and perfect for our young family of 4. It was immaculately clean when we arrived, and the amenities and special touches were A+. The best part of course, was animals! Before we arrived we let Amberjoy and David know we had two young kiddos who loved animals and they made sure to communicate to us when during our stay they would be available to let us interact with them. Our children had an amazing time playing with the BABY GOATS while David and Amberjoy fed them. Also, their dog is an absolute delight! Took to us and the kids immediately and we had a wonderful time on our mini-getaway. Thanks so much for everything Amberjoy and David! We hope to come back someday!

Goat Haven Heaven

The property was easy to find, very clean and comfy, and the goats were absolutely ADORABLE! A hit with my kids, we felt very much at home. Owners were very easy to work with and respected our space while also being available when needed. Would book again!

Lovely weekend home

I had a great time staying in this cozy little cabin with goat (and dog) neighbors. It's a very quiet area and a nice home base for exploring Bellingham.

Goat house stay

A converted city boy and a goat loving momma made their farm life dreams come true and wanted to share it! We dreamed of having a place where people could rest, recharge and enjoy the quiet relaxation of being a goats neighbor for a moment.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Your space is separate from our living quarters but right next to the barn. You can help with the chores or just watch Diesel the dog in action as he bounces around the pen guarding his goat babies. In the summer we have fruit trees of cherries, apples and plums and a hammock to relax in. In the fall and winter build a fire and soak in the country crisp air!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Spring time chances are we will have baby goats, but if you are a farmer you know things don’t always go according to plan. Breakfast is not included in the price but you can order 24hrs in advance for $15 a person. Breakfast would include muffins, eggs (hard boiled) and juice of choice. Please make these arrangements prior to your stay so I can place the items in the fridge for you. (Gluten free/dairy free option available)
