The space
Cheyenne Place is at the heart of it all. It is very close to many of the local Colorado Springs attractions. The spacious semi-detached house is a very comfortable space built in 1908, and preserves much of its original charm yet updated with modern amenities and granite countertops. It boasts two nice sized bedrooms and a spacious living/dining room with a sofa sleeper for two. Colorado Springs STR Permit #1248.
Living Room & Dining Area --
To help you relax after a long day of exploring, the cozy living room boasts a television with Roku, Netflix and local channels as well as games, books and toys for the little ones. The living room also includes an expandable dining set for your family meals and a pull out couch for two guests.
Kitchen --
You will find a St. Charles vintage kitchen, fully loaded, with everything you will need to cook meals during your stay. We will have tea, coffee, cream, hot cocoa & sugar available. The kitchen is also loaded up with pots, pans, bowls, a strainer, utensils, fridge, gas range and oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, mixer, blender and a kettle. Additional cooking supplies, such as spices, are above the stove. Cleaning supplies are under the sink.
Bedrooms --
Queen sized beds in both bedrooms, and a full sized memory foam pull out couch in the living room. We provide high quality bedding, pillows in varying stiffness for optimum comfort, and fresh bamboo linens. Each bedroom has hangers and dressers to store your belongings during your stay. There are also white noise machines in each bedroom to sooth you to sleep. One bedroom has a window swamp cooler for cooling off the entire space.
Bathroom --
The spacious bathroom includes a bathtub/shower combo, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap. We also provide cotton balls, cotton swabs, makeup remover towelettes, hair dryer and extra rolls of toilet paper. We leave at least one bath towel and two wash cloths per guest, plus a couple of extras.
Children --
We have a few children's items for your convenience, including games and a basket of toys in the living room. If a pack 'n play is required, please notify me in advance so we can have it ready for your arrival. Ivywild park is a little over half a mile to the North with a playground.
Outdoor --
There is a fully fenced front yard you are welcome to enjoy. You'll also have access to a propane grill next to the stone wall behind the house.
Parking --
There is plenty of parking to the East of the driveway, in the mulch, along the white picket fence. If you would like to bring a trailer, please notify me in advance. There is plenty of space, but a trailer can be a bit tricky to maneuver on the property. There is not street parking.
Remote Working --
High speed fast WIFI is available and the table in the dining room is perfect for using as a large workspace.
NO Smoking/Vaping Inside --
Smoking, in accordance with Colorado law, is permitted outside. Please properly dispose of cigarette butts. Smoking anything (tobacco, marijuana, vaping) inside the home is NOT PERMITTED - loss of security deposit will occur.
Additional Things to Note --
There is another residence attached to the back half of the house, but there is sound proofing between the units. There is also a separate cottage at the back of the property.
Early/Late Check-in/out fees apply. If you are in need of an early check-in or early check-out time, please notify me in advance to make sure arrangements can be made.
Guest access
Guest Access --
You'll be able to access the house anytime via the front door keypad. Feel free to use the property! If you need laundry, just let us know and we'll unlock the laundry door in the kitchen. The laundry is shared.

There is plenty of parking next to the driveway, along the fence, in the mulch. If you would like to bring a trailer, please notify me in advance. There is plenty of space, but a trailer can be a bit tricky to maneuver on the property. There is not street parking.
Other things to note
This is a smoke free, drug free, pet free, party free cottage. If the rules aren't followed, you may be subject to a fine and, if violated, asked to leave without refund. :(
