Boho getaway - walkable to downtown Fort Myers!

Relax and enjoy all downtown Fort Myers has to offer! This historic home on a former guava plantation is a 7 minute walk to the historic River District - chock-full of shops, theaters and nightlife. Enjoy one of the many delicious restaurants within walking distance, or prepare a meal in the Casita's well-stocked kitchen and enjoy eating under the pergola in the backyard. There's no better place to enjoy the old Florida charm of Gardner's Park.

This listing is for the Treehouse Suite. It is located on the second floor of the duplex. You will have dedicated access via a staircase on the side of the home. Please note, the stairs are steep.

If you need a break from dining out, the kitchen is fully-stocked and ready for you to prepare your meals. Enjoy your food under the lights of the pergola out back or at the dining table. Spend a night in relaxing on the couch and enjoy a movie on the 55" smart TV. You'll find all the comforts of home here - extra blankets for chilly nights, a Keurig with provided coffee to start your morning on the right foot & free laundry with detergent.

The master bedroom has a private en-suite bathroom with a full tub and shower. Both bedrooms are equipped with a comfortable bed, hangers & dressers.

If you're traveling with little ones, we're happy to provide a pack & play, highchair, baby bath, toys/books & monitor. Please just let us know before you check in! We always provide children's utensils and dinnerware.

Great place for a short trip

My husband and I visited Ft. Myers for spring training games and this was a great place to stay. It wasn’t too far from the games and it was close to restaurants and bars.

Very Cool Place!

Just as described! The host was awesome, when we checked in there were some pink roses in the kitchen! Loved the attention to detail in the bathrooms! Would definitely stay again!

The hosts took great care in providing treats & amenities to welcome us, and responded immediately to our questions. Kitchen was well stocked & the apartment was great for four adults. Materials & maps helped us navigate a great three-day stay. Would definitely stay again.

The Treehouse Suite was ideal for myself and my friend. We loved the location and the quaintness of the area. The amenities were perfect, ans so was the individual space we both had. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone who loves to get out and explore the River District of Fort Meyers, Florida.

Great 5-day Stay

The Tree House worked out great for the four of us for our 5-day stay! The unit had everything we needed. Plenty of parking and nice quiet location close to the places we wanted to go. The trip downtown is walkable, though we usually took a $6 Uber ride there instead. Would definitely stay there again when in the area.

Beautiful Spot

We were in town for a wedding and down town fort Myers has a lot to offer. Place was clean, rooms were all cozy, and location was perfect for us. If available will use next time we come into fort Myers again.

Loved this property! Location was perfectly situated in Ft Myers River District!

Jenn was a perfect host - always very responsive, helpful, patient and flexible. The 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment was just the right size for myself, daughter in law, and little infant. Loved everything about the property!

This was the worst experience we have had with VRBO. We arrived late at night and were greeted by the overpowering smell of garbage from the trash cans at the bottom of the outside stairs. The apartment appeared clean, but dingy (kitchen cabinets, sofa.) There was an air purifier turned on by the entrance which was not large enough for the space and needed a filter replacement. We noticed that the floor was very spongy in several areas and there was an overpowering odor of mildew. After unpacking, I began to have an asthma attack (which is very rare for me - my asthma is nonexistant unless I am around mold or cigarette smoke.) We tried to contact the host, Jenn but the wifi password wasn't working. We had no choice but to leave and check into a hotel. We messaged Jenn as soon as we got into the hotel and did not hear back until the following evening. Her response was curt as she basically gaslighted me regarding my reaction to the air quality in her unit - denying that there was any problem - they had had mold tests, etc. Unfortunately, my father was dying in the hospital so I took a couple of days to respond. When I did, I mentioned the death in the family delaying my response. No response from her for two days so I contacted her again to confirm that she was unwilling to compensate us before leaving an honest review. I told her that we felt we were entitled to some kind of refund even if not in full. She responded, "Please do!" No offer of condolences.

Sweet escape

We were in town for our daughters wedding! This is gem suited our needs absolutely perfect! The hosts were wonderful with their communication and meeting a few special requests that we had! I would recommend the “treehouse” to anyone!

This property is in an up and coming area of Ft Myers downtown but still in the outskirts so it is NOT walking distance to the main attractions in the Downtown area. You could walk it’s a 10-15 minute walk but walking back at night may be a little desolate with not a lot of people around and may feel unsafe.

Lovely Casita

My brother and I recently spent four lovely days at LA Casita Guava. It was the perfect size for the two of us and close to everything. The owner, Jenn was very easy to contact and replied very promptly. Almost everything was provided and the only downside was the lack of a dishwasher which made things a little inconvenient. Other than that, we had a wonderful experience with the property and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Ft Myers. I would high recommend staying there.

Perfect hideout

I chose this place for a recent short trip that was centered around Ft Meyers. Instead of rooming with a house full of guys, I chose to go solo. I am glad I did. This placed was perfect. I was only15 min from anywhere I needed to be and a five minute walk to downtown Ft Meyers. The home was well equipped for anything I needed including cooking. It was very clean and very quiet. This is perfect for two couples or a small family. If that fits you, then it is recommended highly.

Great place for our mid-week escape

We loved all the attention to detail that was offered at this apartment and appreciated the ambience. I would suggest; however, that the description of the apartment included that it was a one-floor walk up. We were a party of "older" visitors and the stairs were a bit of an obstacle for some of our party (one had just had two knee surgeries!) Other than that..fabulous place. We would stay again! :)

Exceeded Expectations

For two to four people who are at least reasonably active, the Boho getaway is ideal. It is in a quiet neighborhood that is a short (half mile approximately) walk to the great downtown area with restaurants, local shops, art museum, library, and park along the river. Having two bedrooms, and more importantly, two bathrooms is terrific. All of the little touches made this homey, and the stairs were no problem (just normal stairs). We liked the better view/vibe from the top floor. We didn't need all of the amenities, but gosh, the list is long. We noticed toys, etc. for kids as well as spare toothbrushes, makeup removal wipes, cotton swabs, spices, coffee pods, etc. This is perhaps the best property rental I've experienced, and I would gladly rent again if returning to Fort Myers.

Great Location, As advertised

The wife and I decided on an impromptu long weekend stay in Fort Myers. We wanted something that was close to downtown and still decent driving distance to the beach. Downtown River district was a 10-15 minute walk and perfect for us. I think the drive to the beach was 25 minutes or so. Communication with the host, while minimal, was prompt. The place suited our needs fine, we truly just slept there but if you were inclined to cook some meals, the necessary items are there. The only thing that wasn’t was a brew coffee maker. I assume there was supposed to be as there was a bag of coffee beans and a pretty nice coffee grinder. There was a Keurig and we made do with that. If my only complaint is lack of a coffee maker, I think things were good. Would definitely recommend.

Overall the place was clean and taken care of. There was only one TV in the living room. It was not quite at night as it appears there are street racers till 2 am, I can deal with that. The real issue was the racoons, 5 of them. I attended to go to my car on two separate nights only to find 5 racoons hanging out by the trash and as soon as they noticed me they would come after me. This is a serious matter. If it was not for the racoons I would consider staying again. Overall the house was nice but there are some issues that need attention.
