In the coveted highest building at Canyon View, enjoy a truly comfortable home away from home with views of Ventana Canyon itself and its unique natural rock formations from the patio, master bedroom and kitchen, & enjoy looking down onto Tucson's glittering city lights from the living room, front screen door, and second bedroom/office. Many large windows make the space bright and airy with so many gorgeous views. Tastefully furnished w/ everything needed for a comfortable months-long stay.
***PLEASE NOTE*** that there are visible luxury homesites being cleared adjacent to the building at ground level (the condo is on upper floor), with no loss of beautiful Ventana Canyon and Catalina mountain view. You may see construction equipment being stored on the lot near the building and/or construction vehicles drive by during weekday working hours. I welcome questions anytime and will respond quickly- I love my job as a host!

As a host, and a traveler myself, I take your health very seriously. This unit is thoroughly and professionally cleaned between each guest using disinfecting janitorial supplies.

What sets this unit apart from others in this area is the location- this unit is on the back (north) property line and at the highest point in the neighborhood, facing the mountains, so that your patio view of the Catalina Mountains is unobstructed by other buildings, parking lots, cars or stairs. This location is gorgeous and the condo is a perfect retreat. The views are spectacular from every room, the bed was very comfy, the kitchen has everything imaginable so we were able to cook some fabulous meals and dine on the balcony while watching the mountains turn purple at sunset.We didn’t use the pools or gym, but they were lovely as well as the clubhouse. The surrounding residents are delightful. I can’t thank Lore enough for her local suggestions and hospitality. What a way to ring in 2026! We hope to be back to do the same next year.

Everything was clean and had what we needed. The construction is certainly present, but while we were there, they were not working so we were lucky. It is comfortable, but could use some updating. There were no real major things, and everything is in working condition, but if you are looking for a more updated place, this would not work. Also, our bad, we did not ask about steps, but there is a steep set to get up and down the unit. It was hard to get luggage up and down. Host was super responsive.

Hands down..fabulous views! The complex was beautifully landscaped. The condo was decorated beautifully, maybe a little too much furniture. Kitchen is actually much nicer than the photograph. We had a few safety concerns which our host corrected immediately. The mattresses were very uncomfortable as were the pillows. Unfortunately there is an active construction site (muster area) directly outside the balcony that started work at 6:30 am and stopped at 4:30 pm. The noise was deafening as they were constructing and paving roads close by. We left half way through our booking as we could not relax and enjoy the views due to the noise. Very disappointing.

Beautiful, well equipped condo on the edge of the desert. Very clear communication with owner. Only concern was that the clearing for new housing between the condo and the mountains markedly detracts from the view and every morning except Sunday work started in the area before 7 AM. Nice as the condo was, had I understood this I would have chosen a different place to stay. I've attached a picture of the view from the balcony.

Perfect location for my Tucson adventures. Mountains out the back, city views out the front. Can hike directly into the canyon from the complex. Great part of town. Bed was comfy and everything was clean. Excellent communication, easy self check in and parking. As Lore mentions in the listing, there is land clearing going on out back. They did not make much noise during my stay. I was still able to enjoy the birds and coffee on the back patio in the mornings... then easy drives off to the desert or the mountains for the rest of the day. Would stay again!

The views truely are stunning and the condo takes full advantage, with sightlines from every room. Clean and impeccably maintained, the unit is decorated and provisioned like a private residence. Coffee on the deck in the morning and wine on the deck in the evening... you soak in the timeless presence of the mountains, which look to be within arm's reach. Great communication and responsiveness with the owner. When the Keurig failed to perform, a new one was delivered and plugged in the same day. As noted in the VRBO description, this is a seond floor unit in the foothills, so most appropriate for those who have no issue navigating stairs. Can't wait to stay here again!

Great location, views cannot be beat! The host was great to work with and checked in on me during my stay. 4 stars overall because the bed could have been a little more comfortable, but the condo was quite comfortable.

So quiet and peaceful!

The mornings were wonderful, looking out at the foothills covered in blooming sahuaro cactus. The only sound we heard were the doves.Everything about our stay here was even better than expected. The condo is lovely.Lore was extremely kind and helpful. We hated to leave.

All good. We had an issue with supply’s, but when texting the owner they were very responsive . This property is near to a freind that live off swan. Hopefully can stay there next week

Great location and lovely property

We loved this place! Super clean and so comfy. Well stocked kitchen, comfy bed and so quiet! Love the foothills location with access to hiking just off the property. Pool looked nice but didn’t use. We did use the exercise facility. So convenient to Sabino canyon park. Lots of close restaurants. A beautiful area. Highly recommend. Would stay there again.

VENTANA CANYON CONDO

We had a great stay at the condo near Ventana Canyon. The views were as advertised. The condo was clean. The owner was extremely hospitable and available if we needed anything. The condo was in close proximity of excellent restaurants and the trail into the Ventana Canyon was phenomenal. We would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic Tucson Stay

Lore was an absolute pleasure to work with, responds immediately. Condo was a perfect location to National Parks. The restaurants they recommended were delicious. Gorgeous views from the deck/ balcony of the mountains. We would definitely recommend, truly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely Views and More

This condo has great views, is close to nature, and trails, yet convenient to shopping and excellent restaurants. It is the perfect location to get anywhere in the Tucson area. We loved the balcony and its breathtaking views of Ventana Canyon, especially one evening when a storm blew through. Many thanks to owner Lore, who is the most responsive and accommodating host one could ask for. We highly recommend.

It's the most prestigious condo community in Tucson, nestled right up to the Catalina mountains and in the upscale Catalina Foothills neighborhood. This particular community has its own private Ventana Canyon hiking trail entrance, 2 heated pools, 2 hot tubs, 2 clubhouses, a gym, tennis and pickleball court and beautiful landscaping! It's 5 minutes from shopping and Sabino Canyon, and only 20 minutes to the University. Couldn't be more perfect!
