Havana House - Your Private Waterfront Resort

This bespoke 2bd/2ba is your private waterfront resort experience with all the amenities: private pool and covered patio, fishing all along the 200ft canal bulkhead, boat dock, fish cleaning station, 3 kayaks, and plenty of lush yard for activities. We can also arrange for guided fishing trips, PWC boat rentals, and laundry service for additional charge.

Property is located on Salt Lake near the entrance of Copano Bay for quick access to wildlife viewing or your favorite fishing spot. Just minutes from downtown Rockport with access to charming shops and variety of restaurants. Rockport Beach, one of the top rated beaches in Texas due to its calm waters, cleanliness, and family friendly atmosphere, is just a 10 minute drive.

Property features many species of ducks, geese, cranes and waterfowl. Bird watchers don’t even need to leave the porch to enjoy. Want a good night sleep? Purple beds are wonderful with blackout blinds on the windows, strong AC, and quality, hypoallergenic sheets, pillows and comforters. Enjoy music? Bring your favorite vinyls to spin on the record player or connect to the Bluetooth portable speaker.

Like to cook? Our open concept kitchen makes things easy to find and the outdoor pellet and gas grill combo makes bbq a breeze. Plenty of local restaurants and food delivery services makes eating out or in convenient.

Why pay for an expensive resort or condo when you can have it all to yourself? This stylish cottage is perfect for a family or two couples looking for fishing, wildlife, adventure or just relaxing decompression…

The only downside to this property is that it is a 900sqft cottage. Plenty of room for 4-6 guests but anymore and things are going to be cramped. We have a strict 6 adult overnight guest policy for this reason. The bathrooms are beautiful and functional but also small. The shower has a 7” step to get in and out. Also the pool is slippery getting in and out. For most folks this won’t be any problem but guests with mobility challenges may find this uncomfortable and might want to consider a property that is more accommodating in this regard.

Finally we would like to note that the kitchen does not have an oven but does have a full cooktop. If you need laundry facilities the host can help you, just reach out to her.

Third Year Here

This was our third time here. We enjoy coming here and the owners are amazing. Property is always clean and has all the amenities we need. The fish were biting like crazy this year and our boys had fun fishing and swimming all day. Easy drive to the beach, stores, and resteraunts or you can grill.

Family vacation

This house was perfect for our little family vacation. While it is small they make the most of the space when it comes to the house! The pool was perfect- clean, fun, plenty of pool toys there! Enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and hanging out on the covered deck. And the host was amazing. Responsive, should us where everything was and has a whole binder of fun activities, places to eat and fishing info for rockport, port A and Corpus Christi! Loved the house and the host!

Great getaway!

My family and I stayed for the long 4th of July weekend. It was the perfect size for the 5 of us. We enjoyed the clean private pool everyday. Plenty of outdoor space for grilling and chilling. We'll definitely be back!

Relaxing family getaway

We had a great stay and enjoyed the house, yard and surrounding area. The owners were very friendly and helpful for any need and ideas of things to do. Bedrooms were very well sized. Our kids (2 and 4) loved the pool and the temperature was comfortable all hours. We hope to be back in the future!

The Perfect Coastal Getaway!

My best friend and I stayed with our kids for a couple of days and had the absolute best time. We loved that the kids could fish and swim right there by the house And the neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. You’re just a short drive away from restaurants, the beach pier, etc. We truly enjoyed staying and can’t wait to go back.

Wonderful time!

This was the perfect place for our family of four to stay. My kids lived in the pool whenever we were on site. We stayed over the 4th of July and we were able to see fireworks from surrounding parties. The house was extremely clean, had everything we needed and the area was quiet. We did have to cut our trip short due to a tropical storm but the host was very communicative about the situation and is working with us to get some sort of credit for a future trip. We plan to stay again next year!

Great stay

We had a great stay. Property manger is very involved and checks on you frequently. We did have to cut our trip short by one day as the mosquitos were just too bad to stay. Nothing could be done about that.

Beautiful place

Loved the amenities and the view. I was not very happy with constantly being bombarded by the property manager for ice machine repair guy coming over, the husband coming over to check the pit and them on the property watering the grass then checking the pool, And trying to schedule the lawn guy to come over. One night we stayed up late fishing off the side because we are on vacation trying to have a great time and the property owners who control the lights outside - at 10 pm say goodnight and turn them off so we can no longer see and have our rods tangled up. I was really disappointed but we only had one night left and so it was too late to do anything about it. Definitely don’t recommend if you want your privacy or if you have a family that stays up past 10 pm on vacation.

Charming Coastal Tranquility

We loved our stay! The house has a great use of space and our family of four never felt crowded. The pool was spotless and refreshing. The neighborhood was very quiet but close enough to town not to be inconvenient. The kitchen was well stocked and the owners were delightful. We were very comfortable and would definitely book again. One of my favorite rentals!

Nice Home

The house was nice and probably one of the cleanest vacation homes I have rented. I would not recommend more than 4 people due to the size of the house. It is very convenient to get to town and the Rockport beach. It only takes about 12 minutes to both.

Amazing Rental - Gorgeous Setting - Wonderful Stay!

My husband and I stayed at this amazing little cottage for a month. It was the longest vacation we have taken, so the location was critical. We loved every minute of our stay. First: here are a few things to keep in mind: 1. They allow dogs, we brought our two little pups and they loved the yard. The yard itself is fenced in, but the bulkhead on the canal is open. 2. While we were there, there was some construction noise during the day. This construction is temporary. 3. The yard/pool isn't very private but was fine for us. What we loved: 1. The hosts. Absolutely wonderful. They live next door and will provide anything you need for your stay. They are fantastic, responsive and have great stories. 2. The cottage was a delight. Eclectic decor. But super comfortable (the beds!!!!!-Heaven) 3. The pool - so very relaxing (stairs slippery) 4. The pergola was a great sun shade for us/dogs 5. The kitchen is well appointed, but small. Great Fridge. 6. The bathrooms are amazing. Showers are the best. 7. The birds and the palms are very relaxing. At night, it was so very quiet. Ducks and birds and palms in the wind 8. The contact, reservation, question process was seamless 9. The location - 15 mins to town/ 45 to Corpus Christi 10. Great AC if you run hot 11. Kayaks, fishing, other activities 12. VERY clean and well kept 13. The grill is pretty awesome 14. Bath & Sun Towels provided 15. Fun things to do in Rockport We can't recommend this place enough. Was amazing. Thank you!

Relax and wind down

Very serene, peaceful location. Away from city sounds. Stars in full view. Fishing at sundown. Boys caught drum, catfish, trout and took the kayaks out! Pool was refreshing. Highly recommend & would definitely return!!

The stay was more than I ever expected ! ! ! Owners are so wonderful This place so homey and comfy, clean and beautifully decorated. No stone was left unturned, everything you need plus more was provided. Swimming pool is actually bigger than it looks, it was perfect and very clean. Beautiful Home ! ! ! ! !
